I was waiting outside for store to open and there came another customer behind me . We were both walkins and once store opened and we went out in i asked for a pedicure . When they were ready the woman behind me said she had been waiting in her car so she is first . The worker told me then i had to wait 45 minutes . I told her absolutely not and left . Emergency! We went to our usual nail spa (which shall remain nameless) first thing Tuesday morning and were told they were too busy to accommodate my husband (whose extra-thick nails have to be professionally done). We've been regular monthly customers but apparently appointments are now needed. We had a luncheon to attend that day and my husband really wanted his nails done. So, on the Internet I found Luxy Nails in the College Drive/Rte 220 plaza. They were so kind when I called and took us in! Madison was excellent and we'll ask for her again--very patient with my husband! I like the fact that there is plexiglass Covid protection at the manicure stations! I went in had power dipped nails reapplied by this shop. After a week I had a sore come up under my right thumb nail, and all of them pulsed like they were too tight (if that's even a thing). I went back in and asked for them to be removed in-between all my fingers being uncomfortable and the thumb nail having an oozing sore underneath I just wanted them off. Alex was nice said sure but when his lady came over to remove them she argued with me about removing them, saying I needed to get it more time. Embarrassingly enough I repeated myself "please remove these" louder and louder with each time she refused till Alex said something to her. read more

My dad's wife made an appointment for she, my sister, and I to get pedicures and manicures at 10:30 AM today. We showed up 15 minutes early just because we were in the area. The man told us that they overbooked people today and we would have to wait, even though we made appointments AND came in early. They also took us all at different times. Jumping into the service, the water was EXTREMELY hot. The technician smeared my polish twice and was hardly paying any attention. Their customer service was awful and the man in the salon was LECTURING us for being upset. He had the nerve to ask us why we didn't tip. It took us over TWO HOURS to just get a half-assed pedicure. Thankfully I'm only visiting the area from California. I would never come back here. Take your time and money elsewhere. read more

I have been coming here for a long time. My family comes here. But no more. They have someone who burned my feet with hot water. Asked me questions and then looked to someone else for answers. Asked her 3 times to cut a broke nail, only to get a "she already cut it". Obviously not. If she'd cut it, I wouldn't be asking her to do it. If she doesn't understand English then she shouldn't be pretending to speak English. Then the owner acts like I'm being unreasonable because I've had to asked the same thing several times. I came today to relax instead I'm irritated and upset. You don't treat your clients this way. I never treat my clients this way. They just lost more than 1 pedicure. read more

After years visiting the salon I have decided to stop. It's unfortunate because my family and I support family owned businesses but I had a terrible experience here. The owners' brother is a tech at table 5, expressed blatant disrespect towards me. He made it impossible for me to trust him with my nails--- he burned my finger removing dip powder then insulted me - I let him know that I was growing uncomfortable with his attitude, in case he was having a bad day--- would realize he was being unprofessional. The Manager/Owner Andy acknowledged the tech (his brother) was out of line. He took over and completed my dip manicure. Unfortunately, the women in my family share similar experiences with the same tech and we no longer support this salon. I had an appointment and they were onetime, not busy. My nails were not trimmed properly, I had gel placed on my nails. At no point did the male technician say hello, mention his name, it was strictly what color did I want and do I want them trimmed and how much. I also got my toes done with gel. At the very end my left foot is in the lamp and he just takes off and walks out of the shop without saying where he was going, nothing! Ok, somebody I believe his name is Andy took the lamp off my feet and I paid my bill, leaving the guy 23% tip, stupid me, but he did work. Last night two nails broke/chipped and I text and they told me to come by today that they will fix them. I got there today, the guy was there and said not a word and only another woman was there she told me to sign in and find the color I used. For some reason, I was unable to get into the computer screen she wanted me to use and I mentioned this and she said she wasen't going to look the color I used up and to pick a color. Now, with all the many colors they do have there, no way am I going to figure out what color it was as I needed two colors, I had a base color and a shimmer color. She told me to pick any color out and I said I didn't know the color that is when I said I will never come back and her response was "don't come back, its ok"! I was very pleasant and spoke softly and didn't deserve this treatment and to pay for a gel manicure to have two nails broken on the same day and not being able to get it repaired. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I tried this place out last week... I got a mani,pedi,eyebrow wax & it was $86.00 entirely toooooo much! The lady who did my eyebrows was too rough she was literally slinging my head back & forth when I informed her she was too rough she act like she didn't understand me & kinda giggled alittle like I was giving her a compliment!
