I'll start by saying I'm going to give them another chance because I so want to love this place. The overall vibe, set up and cleanliness is super inviting. Before I get to the reason why I'm giving them 3 stars I'll start with what I really liked. The pedicure was amazing, the massage was A1 and the person doing it took her time, which is a major plus. Now when it came to my gel manicure that's where it went awry. The soak off/drill of the gel nails was easy but the lady was way too heavy handed with the cuticle nipper and took a decent chunk from my thumb cuticle...cue the blood. First things first- these people should not be allowed to own and operate nail dremels! My mother and I went in for mani/pedis. They tore our toes up so badly that we both have gotten infections around our big toes. When they hurt my mom they just laughed! The lady that did my mother's nails butchered her fingers. So much so that the lady got some of the polish on her actual finger and instead of using acetone to remove it, she tried to use the dremel! Mom had to tell her no! That's skin! You don't do that! I received cuts on every finger. The guy definitely got all the cuticle! And some finger too. He also used wayyyy too much pressure. My fingers still hurt. The salon itself appeared clean, but the nail bits and other tools used were dirty and nasty. I wish we'd walked out. For the first time ever, we didn't leave tips. Also worth noting- while I was getting my nails done the lady that does hair did someone's eyebrows. She told her she owed her $14. The lady gave her a 20 and told her to keep the change. I watched her pull out the $6 in change, look around and then grab another bill and shove it in her pocket. 10/10 do not recommend this place. Still searching for a quality salon! read more

Been coming here for a while but I won't be returning. All the women have attitudes, and they change the prices and charge you different amounts for the same services each time you go in there. My friend and I walked in at 3:30 for both of us to have a pedicure and a full set. They closed at 6 PM. They started us with the pedicures. Hers was great start to finish, until the gel polish peeled off less than 24 hours later. My technician had a cut on his thumb that seemed to be bleeding and was not wearing gloves. He proceeded to file my nails down until almost all of my toes were also bleeding. Leaving them sore and with scabs 48 hours later. He then began to paint my toes. I have small toes, but nothing that can't be worked with, I've had several pedicures before and never had one like this. Where half of my toe just wasn't painted. I walked out of the pedicure chair looking like it had been weeks and my polish was grown out. He spent 15 extra minutes taking polish off of my skin with acetone bc he had painted all over my skin (burning the cuts that he had just made w the file). Then it was over thank goodness. I even sent a message to my husband about how nervous I was that this man was now going to do my full set. I have included a photo of what I asked for as well as several photos of what was provided. When he started on my nails, he glued the tips on and began to shape them. They were looking OK at this point I wanted, medium length coffin shaped. From there everything went downhill. He started to build the acrylic and it was so beyond lumpy that he had to spend 20 extra minutes drilling the extra acrylic off of my nails. Then we moved onto paint. I asked for a design, that could be considered difficult, allowed him the photo as he was painting, and all I ended up with was a similar ring finger. He ignored my request for a design until they were trying to figure out the cost of the services. The colors used did not look anything like the samples offered at the beginning. I wanted brown and got red and purple. No design. Short length and wonky shape due to filing and now my fingers are bleeding as well. He then again had to use acetone to fix his paint mistakes on my skin. After 2.5 hours it was now time for them to close and he was over doing my nails so he rushed the last few coats, curing dust and other things into the top layer of the nail. And then wanted to charge $300 for two pedicures and full sets. On top of my poor experience, my friend who was with me also had to coach her nail tech through how to complete the nails that she wanted. She had to show her how to file it and what direction to file in in order to get the shape and with that she wanted. And neither of us left with what we wanted exactly. We chose this salon last minute based on reviews, but will never step foot in here again. I attempted to call for a refund as I now have open wounds on my hands and feet due to someone's negligence and not wanting to do their job and all they attempted to do at that point of call was schedule me an Appointment Not understand that I wanted my money back, not another appointment. First of all, there is absolutely nothing "Lavish" about this salon. I went in for a full set and pedicure and I found the staff to be extremely rude. I wouldn't recommend going here for any kind of service. The staff seems bothered to have to work on customers. I kindly asked the female doing my nails to fix one that SHE glued on crooked. She actually looks at me, rolls her eyes and then proceeds to get upset about it. She ripped the nail off my finger and threw it on the floor. I asked for short nails, and again she got VISIBLY UPSET AT ME. In the middle of doing my nails, she got up and walked away without any explanation. I sat there confused, meanwhile she went to the back and later another staff member came to let me know she would finish my nails at a different station. If I am paying a PRETTY PENNY mind you, for a service, I at the very least expect, KINDNESS and PROFESSIONALISM. First and last time I come to this location. While everyone was very nice and the experience was nice during the end result left MUCH to be desired. I used my own regular, non gel, polish. They had my sit down in the light/drying section. I was completely forgotten about. After 30 minutes I had to ask someone how long I needed to sit there for and she said for just a few minutes. At that point I got up and inspected my nails... Cut crooked as hell, not painted smooth to where you can see the edge where the second coat didn't cover the first and paint not cleaned off of my skin. I got a full set and gel pedicure and it was a great time. The tech that did my pedicure was great and didn't hurt me unlike many others in the past. I was able to get some work done on my ipad while she was working. Then I got my nails done and I loved my technician. She was very sweet and I got to know her a little bit. His coworker noticed- she tried to fix the issue, however I was supper unhappy with my nails I came back and paid to have them removed. They recognized that I was just there 5 days prior - attempted to offer to fix them at a discounted rate. I didn't understand why I would pay to have them do it correctly if they didn't have them done right the first time? First off they had me and my grandma waiting 40 minutes then when they did attend us the person attending my grandmother yelled at her because of a language barrier instead of just calling me over or asking for help. I would give 0 stars if I could. Do not go here for nail service. I went two days ago requesting light pink almond nails, acrylic fill in with gel polish change. The technician said it would be $30. The color I chose was "running out" but he said he would fix it. He went behind the back wall and came back out with the same polish. He began shaping my nails, they looked like coffin/ballerina and I asked if he would round them like I asked originally. He said he would do that later. He shaped my pinky nail so crooked that I asked him to fix it and he said "no it's fine I'll do it later". He started getting upset with me asking him to fix things. The acrylic fill was awful, he left acrylic all over my cuticles and under my nails. He didn't put a base coat down, he didn't remove all of the old black polish (after I'd pointed it out three times). He started yanking in my hands around, and when I pulled away from him burning my nail bed and ripping two of my cuticles he yanked my hand again and told me to stop moving. The polish job was shoddy at best; bubbles/black dots in it, very streaky, and almost didn't put the clear coat until I asked about it, and then missed the sides of ever nail. I asked again if he was going to shape them how I asked and he said no he was done and they looked better on my fingers than almond shaped would. When he went to rub oil on my arms, he broke my Apple Watch strap after pushing my hand away when I tried to take it off after I saw him struggling and then tossed my watch one the table, knocking my screen cover off. I gave him my card because I figured I'd learned my lesson but I wasn't going to leave without paying, and $30 isn't the worst; I had somewhere to be and it already took him 2 hours for a fill and polish change. Two days later I have 6 broken nails. I called the store to tell them that my nail polish looked dirty on the sides and that I had 5 broken nails all broken from typing and that overall I was very dissatisfied and expressed that to them before I left after having them done originally. The lady who I spoke with said to come in and she'd "see what she could do". So I drove half an hour there to walk in and show her my now 6 broken nails (I broke one turning the radio up???) and she said it wasn't her fault that the nails were broken because they only did the fill not the original acrylic and it was probably old and needed to be redone. I had the acrylic and tips on for 3 weeks (it was a fresh set last time around) and I didn't have any problems with them before, moving furniture, working out, etc. She said okay, sign in 1/2 hour wait, pick your color $30. This woman wanted me to PAY $30 to have my nails FIXED that her nail tech messed up? So I said no I would not be paying. I wanted them either fixed for free or to give me a refund. And she said she wouldn't give a refund because the service was already given and it wasn't her fault that I can't take care of my nails (I've had fake nails for 10 years and I've only ever broken one nail, by slamming my finger in a door) so I said okay then just please remove them because I didn't trust her or anyone from that salon to fix them, and there's no way for me to go to work and meet clients with my nails looking the way they do and she said "okay $15 sign in" she wanted me to pay for her to so I walked out and left. Another nail broke off on the way home, I called the bank to see if there was anything I could do and when they verified the charge I was calling about TURNS OUT THEY CHARGED ME 45 FREAKING DOLLARS. Be warned y'all, the hair stylists seemed wonderful and one asked me if I was okay when he saw the look on my face when he ripped my cuticles open. But the nail tech and owners and managers are awful and do not care about you. They only care about taking your money. read more

The gel polish alone took almost an hour which is just crazy to me (I didn't not have gel polish already on that needed to be removed). I got my nails done on a Saturday and by Tuesday two of my nails had chipped and three other nails were lifting already. I will NOT be going back. I decided to stop in for a quick pedicure before picking the kids up. I'm currently still waiting and it's been 40 minutes. I wanted to walk out but I'm curious to see exactly how long I will have to wait especially since I was not told of the extreme wait time for a pedicure. They are not friendly and speak so low it's hard to understand what they are saying. The price does not equate to the service you receive. Update:after 45 minutes of waiting. Still no water in my bowl but she did ask if I wanted some water and to let me know that someone is finishing up and will be over in a few minutes. We shall see. Update2: after 1 hour, I now have water in the tub. She explained that they are short staffed due to employees taking off for the holidays. I can understand that. However, a heads up would have been nice. Update3: the pedicure is over and I've been here for 2 hours. The woman that took care of me was nice and personable. The massage didn't last long but it was nice and she did put in effort. The polish is evenly placed. On a typical day when they have more people working it may be a nice place to visit. Awesome salon! Been looking for a place in Oakleaf and this is the 2nd place I tried. I won't name the other establishment but they did a terrible job. Tom knew right away something wasn't right after soaking the SNS powder I had on. He educated me on the difference in their process and his, and was also able to correct a few nails I have that grow at a downward slop instead instead of straight out, with no tips or acrylic like the other place suggested. He shaped them perfectly! I am so happy with the turn out and they are reasonably priced! I will def be back! These are natural nails with SNS powder. Love! read more

Anne the manager, was very considerate to have a redo done (by Tony original manicurist) he wasn't available to do it. She had Jimmy do,it was done okay except he failed to do the last cycle under lamp. Only to cause ANOTHER redo. This time, Anne decided to take care of personally...unfortunately the polish chipped day 1 because the nails were not filed smoothly. The polish is chipping too. Anne said that she was making things right and refused any goodwill gesture by way of a discount for the next service. Needless to say, I will NOT be going back.
