I went here because the nail place I prefer was fully booked. I got the messiest gel manicure I've ever seen and it took 2 hours. The polish was so sloppily put on that it was flooding my cuticles. When I asked If they could touch up all my nails they just kept filing and filing my cuticles to get the polish off, only for my cuticles to still be covered in polish. I also have a piece of fuzz on every one of my nails that was just covered with polish. I can confidently say that I would have done a better job on my nails had I done them myself at home. I'm disappointed to have wasted my time and money on this place and will never be returning. If you want a quality nail set, I would steal clear of Cozy Nails! read more

I will not be returning but I do appreciate that they apologized and offered to fix this. Due to that I have added another star to my review. Where do I start? The nail tech and owner were extremely rude. She asked what shape of nail I would like and it wasn't even remotely close to what I wanted. I was yelled at and the prices kept changing. My nails look the worst they've ever looked... I can't believe I payed $95 for a dip polish with tips and a gel pedicure and got nails that look like they are covered in glue. I got them done on Friday and they are already lifting! I'm so upset because it's not like people are just made of money and I budget to get my nails done and when I ask for something I would like for it to be done right and to look like the picture that you have behind you on your chair. Screaming at your clients won't make them come back. Please don't waste your money here they'll ruin your entire day oh and cut your skin and make you bleed. read more

Amazing experience. I come here when I'm needing some definite pampering. I came in today to get a Deluxe pedicure, with all the bells and whistles. Leg massage with a sugar scrub, hot stone, heated wax and then finally a cooling gel with hot towels on my legs and feet. Then got a beautiful green color for my Irish heritage and St. Patrick's Day. Then I got the nail set and color to match. They create such a peaceful environment, with the soft lighting and relaxing instrumental music in the background. I would recommend highly for a low stress and self care day to come here. They take appointments predominantly and you do have to hand sanitize and wear a mask, but it's well worth it!!! read more

I paid close to $100 (because of chrome) and was talked out of getting a new set to pay a cheaper amount. Getting a new set would have been almost as expensive as a full manicure - I cannot imagine if I had paid more. They did one coat on my nails, so they are entirely see-through, patchy, and uneven in size. I asked them to fix 3 spots that were entirely missing color (which is rare for me to do) and still ended up with lop-sided nails that have little specks underneath the polish on each finger. The sloppiness was very disappointing, and the experience took over 2 hours. They were kind to offer that I could come back to have them fixed if they get scratched, but unfortunately I was here on vacation. What was supposed to be a special treat turned into a stressful, waste of money. I could not recommend Cozy Nails less, am very disappointed at my waste of both time and money, and will unfortunately never be returning. read more

I called yesterday afternoon and scheduled an appointment for 2 people for today. I appreciated them being open for New Year's Day. We both got the Super deluxe manicure and pedicure with paraffin wax, massage, and hot stone therapy. The massages were amazing and it was so relaxing especially because no one was there. I think it was about $95 per person and it was worth it especially as a once in a while treat. Our technicians were extremely welcoming and nice. I love that this is a local, neighborhood salon as well. This is my new nail spot. read more

Overpriced without the extra work. My mother and I went here by appointment last week, we had scheduled pedicure and full sets, I left with a 95.00 bill just for mine alone. My nails look horrible and weren't done how they should be. They didn't even ask which pedicure we wanted and did a basic nail polish change and never once scrubbed my feet or removed any roughness from them. I've paid way less for better service. This was my third visit to this place. Nice to see a family owned location. The inside is quite small compared to many of the places these days however it's quiet and pleasant and family run which is fantastic. These people work so hard and the inside is very clean and well cared for. They have always done a nice job with me and they are super accommodating. Brought my 81-year-old mom in here and they were very gentle with her sensitive feet. I was able to get a gel pedicure in the chair where they brought the light to me which is very nice. They offered us drinks when we came in as well. The prices are basically comparable to anywhere else it was 125 for two deluxe pedicures -one with gel polish. They took their time and did a thorough job and I appreciate it and I will definitely be back. read more

Lovely little nail salon with a calming atmosphere. Called ahead less than an hour before closing to see what the chances were I could get a pedicure before closing - they said yes if I could be there in 10-15 minutes, since I was 15 minutes out I headed straight there. There were 2 ladies having their pedicures finished up when I arrived. After a short wait (less than 5 minutes) I was invited to take a seat to soak and then a minute or so after that, the gentleman started my service. It was very relaxing from start to finish. The massage chair had several settings to choose from, which I played around with until settling on a lower back focus. The basic pedicure involved some light calf and foot massage, hot steamed towel, some scrub-a-dub-dubbing with a little nail brush, attention to cuticles and nail length/smoothing. I chose an American finish (more natural white tips) that came out perfect. Highly recommend! Next time I will make an appointment as a courtesy. read more

I stopped in here one afternoon after finding that Happy Nails in Riverside was closed on Mondays. It's a super small salon across from Orsay and South on Park Street. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it was a good experience and the prices are super affordable. As usual, I got my eyebrows done and my toes done in a bright green for Paddy's Day. The gentleman who did my pedicure was super nice, and I'm pretty sure the massage for my calves and feet went on a little longer than usual due to being the only customer at the time. The greatest thing is that the pedicure lasted (no chips!) for a good month and a half. I appreciated how concerned the esthetician was in regards to my eyebrows. My skin gets redder than most when plucking/waxing, and she made sure to find some super good cooling gel to help. Luckily, I was just going home after that and not anywhere important. This salon gets two thumbs up from me, including being open on Monday (when most of the other salons in the area are closed) and providing free beverages to their customers. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I am an avid yelper and after seeing all these glowing reviews I tried them one night. Off the bat the women in charge told me sit down and proceeded to grab old used utensils from here drawer that still had SOMEONE ELSES SKIN in them. This place seriously needs to be shut down by the health department, it is disgusting. This was a few months ago but I still remember the conversation with the woman and how RUDE she was. She had bumped my thumb nail during the dip and it had a big circle in it. After about five minutes I asked when we were going to fix that nail. Went in for a coffin-shaped ombre french manicure. The staff was very friendly and gave me choices on what shade of pink because they were very concerned i got exactly what i wanted. The first picture i attached is what i asked for and the second picture is my nails after they were finished. They did a beautiful job and i was very impressed. This is my go to nail salon for a good reason. They are very good, meaning the nails stay on and put up with my constant hands in water that my clay and art job requires. They are courteous and polite, offer all the latest in the manicure world and just are really nice people. When you get a lot of Peddies you start to realize that not all are alike. Here, they smooth your feet to a baby's softness, cut out that nagging hang nail and wrap your legs in warm wet towels. Like most salons, your appointment puts you in lead position, but walk ins can also get quickly attended too. I am glad that I have this salon on my neighborhood. read more

I'm always on the hunt for a new and "better" nail salon and today I found cozy nails. I went in at 3:30 on a Friday for a gel manicure and a pedicure. The manicure was $25 plus $5 to take off the old gel, and the pedicure was $35 (deluxe rather than the $22 regular pedi). The service provided by the wife and husband owners was awesome! They were very attentive and friendly. I definitely felt like I got a "treat yoself" kind of pedi, although it would have been perfect if the hot stone massage was included for the price (I could have paid $45 to have that but that was a bit too much for me). The gel mani was also very good--I even got an arm massage that was a nice treat (albeit a bit short but I can't complain). The only reason I took off a star was due to the polish selection, both for the gel and regular options. More than some of their regular polishes looked a bit old and worn, and most of the OPI selection was limited to reds and pinks. Overall, cozy nails is definitely in my top 3 of local salons, especially due to the fact that I didn't have to wait, in fact I was the only one there during the duration of my visit which was just over an hour. Will be back! **update--after my gel manicure lasted a full 2 weeks, and I received a perfect gel French manicure--they definitely deserve 5 stars!** read more

So I went to this nail shop before & always got a pedi & fill-in gel nails set. So I know they are busy, I book a appointment & brought my baby sis with my toddler niece to bond. Because I thought it would be us as so I thought. I get there & wait because they take their time or whatever. When the husband is done with a client he preps to do me. Have my feet soaking as usual & before a lady comes in with her bf. As if he was going to rush her gel pedi & mani. The husband preps her & offer her drink. Offer me something last. Before I know I see his teenage daughter come to take off my gel from my toes. He sits down where the lady is & started to give her the work. A walk in, while his daughter is over doing & cleaning my toe. It was obvious she did not know what she was doing. My niece starts to get annoyed & cry. You would think he would tell her to wait because she had an appointment & she was here before you. No he sat back & watch her learn on my toes. When I tell you I was so mad because I feel as though he had to please a Caucasian woman & let this black woman take whatever because she knows us...she's nice. I got up said I'm done, the daughter could do me right & the wife still charge me $22. but then gave me a $8 discount. What the hell is that?! Never AGAIN.
