We enrolled our 2 year old Sheep-doodle, for three weeks. Our main concern was the ability to communicate; Off leash, anywhere; on a sidewalk or a mountain for hiking, skiing, biking. Chris runs a tight ship. He is detailed and caring and patient. He has an in depth knowledge of training, health, discipline, hygiene and psychology. Off Leash K9 and Chris provided daily photos and training videos of our dog. These are incredibly reassuring. Chris provided the foundation for communication for our family of three young children and lots of travel. Snoopy, is all around family dog and he's still that sweet guy, just happier bc now he knows when to come home on the mountain, not drag us on leash and also when to stand down. I worked with Matt during my foster-to-adopt process through Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO). The…read morenew pup, Maybelline, was so full of love but came from a tough background (she was a bait dog in a fighting ring) and came to my home with essentially 0 healthy socialization with other dogs. I already had a dog, Bugg, who was not a fan of Maybelline and her lack of boundaries only compounded the situation- they couldn't be together without Maybelline running at Bugg and stepping over him (he's a tiny guy). I was determined to make this work so I reached out to ARNO and they connected me to Matt. We had a one hour training session and it was a great experience. Both dogs were comfortable with Matt from the get go. A lot was covered but the breakthrough for me was Matt's guidance in giving the dogs freedom to interact and allowing Bugg to "correct" Maybelline when she invaded his space/ignoring his cues of "I don't want to play, you are too close, give me space" so she couldn't learn. He gave specific recommendations for how much interaction to allow before separating the dogs and to limit face to face positioning. Matt helped me understand body language cues which eased my anxiety- it wasn't aggression on either end, just a case of one dog trying to say "stop annoying me" and the other dog being totally clueless. After that session I was able to relax and let them interact more without feeling like I had to be a helicopter. Soon the dogs were snoozing on the couch together and walking together without issue. We would have gotten here eventually without Matt's help but it would have taken so much longer and have been way more stressful than necessary. I added pictures to show our success :)

My lil fella had been though training for basic commands and did very well, however, he needed more, he was so anxious, and highly stressed causing reactivity by daily life occurrences such as, doorbells, other dogs, daily walks (the worst) leashing him, thunder; etc... We were referred to contact a behavioral specialist, and we choose KC Singleton. Upon meeting KC, after the evaluation meeting, I could clearly see KC understood what Mooch needed, the communication between him and my dog were so impressive. It was amazing how Mooch understood what he needed to do in KC's presence even at times without KC having to say anything. It showed me that one day, I can handle my puppy in the same way and that there was potential. My five-star review is for the patience, calmness, and confidence as well as extreme knowledge that was shown to us by KC thus far, after 4 lessons I have a different dog. KC has been there for every weak moment I've had. He calms me down, and assures me that it can be fixed with the right tools. He knows how hard of a situation I've been through since adopting my dog. The place I adopted him from was not much help and told me they would have to euthanize him if they got him back when I didn't think I could keep him anymore (which broke my heart) but KC took the time to calm me, and really reassure me that it is a fixable problem. He is truly my dog guardian angel. He's so understanding, so flexible, explains everything, and is SO SO knowledgeable. I could just sit and listen to everything he knows about training dogs. I can't believe I waited so long to post a review here! I adopted an adorable but troubled…read morebeagle/hound. He wasn't good on the leash, was fearful, hated noise, and even peed on my bed. They started working with him individually, and then with us together. I needed as much training as he did! Today, my Little Dude is well-behaved, loving, calm (most days), and very playful. There were days I worried that we weren't going to make it, but thanks to Taylor and Jio and their positive training methods, we couldn't be happier! We recently moved to Chicago and I know Stuart misses them! He's a great judge of character, and was always beyond excited to to see them. I hope we get to see them again soon.

I worked with the company for about 2 1/2 years and loved forming the relationships with all the furry clients and with Brendan(owner) and Elizabeth (operations manager) . You can rest assured the team members caring for your fur babies will love your pets and give them wonderful care, as I did. They also spend as much time as needed communicating with owners to book services, or answer any questions or concerns you may have. Brendan is one of those bosses that truly appreciates your hard work and always lets you know it. He is honest and fair in all aspects of his business. I have worked for other pet care/boarding business in the New Orleans area and can honestly say I would much rather have my pets stay in the safety and comfort of their home than go to a boarding facility. When I had to go out of town I had no doubts that my dog and cat were in good hands with the K9 team. I got an emails at each visit with an update on how they were doing and pictures.
