They worked diligently and removed all the weeds and plants that didn't belong. They did an exceptional job (and cleaned up after themselves) and were done with everything from start to finish in 3 days. We paid half down payment prior to starting and didn't require the rest until they were done to our satisfaction. Any questions we had were answered expeditiously (by Jocelyn and Santiago, who were great!) and prior to starting they sent us mock-ups for approval. But after reading some of the reviews for New Life Landscape Services, we decided to touch base with them. Danny showed up on time for the initial meeting and listened to our needs and wants. He made some outstanding suggestions for our shrubbery beds, and we decided to move forward and schedule the project. I'm really glad that we trusted Danny. He and his staff showed up on time, and they were already working on the yard when I rolled out of bed. The plants that he selected were beautiful. He even gave us a credit when there were a few shrubs left over. The entire project was completed in just half a day. He even created a nice flower bed next to the front door with some perennials. BEWARE! We hired Rick to plant 2 Sylvester Palm trees of…read moreequal height 10' for which we were charged per foot of trunk, one avocado, one mango, several snake plans and several large blue agaves plus new sod etc, aprox a 7k job. One of the Sylvesters is perfectly fine to date but the second one died almost immediately. Rick came and replaced it with one half its size which wasn't acceptable and regardless it died too within a couple of weeks. Of course we watered them as instructed, the 1st palm tree is still in place, and we documented the second ones death sort of speak. Per Rick, he was sold two sick trees by his supplier. Rick acknowledged that the replaced tree was half the size we paid for and agreed to replace writing "you have my word I will replace the tree". After multiple promises both over the telephone and in writing and several months later he still hasn't replaced it (as of 6-14-19). We removed the dead palm tree and realize they digged what seems to me to be a shallow hole full of rocks no topsoil. The avocado and mango tree as well as the snake plants which are known to be very hardy are not doing well, also very shallow holes and no top soil. I'm not sure what happened because Rick works with his father and they seemed like good honest people but they definitely failed us so if this can help someone else great. We do have everything well documented and intend to file a formal complaint at myfloridalicense .com as well as let others know how they operate.
