By the time Fall of 2019 came we noticed patches of moss were beginning to grow here and there, and it appeared to be spreading. We just had our second baby and I had no time to spend on my lawn, plus I don't really know what I'm doing anyway, so I called the Lawn Doctor based on good reviews I'd read. A guy came out and said our lawn would do great on their program, and he laid down lime before the season came to a close. I quickly prepaid for the 2020 program. The moss has now grown to take over the majority of what was once a beautiful lawn. I did not expect the first service round (fertilizer and weed control) to cure all my problems but I called anyway to see when I could expect improvement, whether I needed a special one-off service, or what. I was told, "We cant help you with moss. Cut down some trees." And that is why I am disappointed so far. Again, I have two small children and no time whatsoever to spend on my lawn, and I called what I thought was a good business to help me out. I thought I was putting my lawn in good hands and that they would take me through the process of recovering my lawn (whatever the problem) and helping it thrive again. Instead I got a shrug and a little bit of attitude. Out of options I ordered a few bags of Scotts MossEx and I guess I'll be trying this myself. Maybe after a few rounds of service this will all work out and the lawn will be beautiful once again. I shouldn't have to take down trees (super expensive) as the previous owner certainly didn't run into problems. So we'll see ... One thing is for sure though, not a fan of the customer service.

In a few days he came back, "fixed" it, but it wasn't really fixed and kept not working. I called him and he said no problem, a faulty unit, needs a replacement, he'll replace it tomorrow. Tomorrow never came. It's been a long time, and after a few tomorrows and other promises, nothing is done - the grass is dead in that zone, and the guy stopped responding over the phone or SMS. If he is alive - he deserves one star. He is not a professional. He is simply dishonest - he will come when you pay him $500, but if anything goes wrong and needs to be addressed - he will disappear on you.
