I now live in the high desert area of CA, I am disabled, don't drive and have ordered numerous items from these guys, like 20 or so plants. Service and selection is always top notch. Shipping to my place has been next day with really professional packing. And the prices are very reasonable, especially in this crazy economy. She even included 2 extra plants in my latest shipment! The man on the phone told me he did, so I got there in time to buy it. When I got there, he opened the package further (as it was already opened) to compare the two- and he said it would work. It didn't. I went back to the store and told the owner that the one he sold me was incorrect. When I asked for a refund, he stated that "there was a part missing from the top." It was not missing anything. The model he sold me was slightly smaller in length and was the incorrect part number according to Lowe's (which did sell me the correct part). I told him it wasn't missing any parts, but he called me a liar. He saw the item was new and unused, proving him wrong. When that didn't work, he said he won't refund it because the package was opened. It was... by him. I watched him open it. He called me a liar again. I went to my bank and disputed the charges- and was told I'd be issued a refund, and Granada Hills Hardware will have the charges reversed. Nobody likes to be called a liar. It could've been real easy, but your pride got in the way when you didn't like to be proven wrong. Now, I get to keep the cartridge, and a refund of $59.12 through my bank... and you get to keep a 1 star yelp review. Was it worth it?

Pots for your plants are so gorgeous. They do landscaping for people who own gardens (does not apply to me) and all the work the employees put in to those plants to make their customers happy and satisfied is a huge recognition. Employees are very knowledgeable, nice, and helpful. Also caring and understanding. A friend of mine had given me an indoor plant for my birthday last year and lasted me for a whole entire year and 3 months. It took the last breath and I went to them asking for help. It was a bit late. I am more of a flower girl than owning plants. I have had plants in my younger years. I ended up buying 2 new outdoor plants to put outside of my window/door. It looks very pretty. I have also purchased a Christmas tree from their lot twice. Established in 1889. That should say a lot about this lovely, beautiful garden/nursery. The store isn't as massive as other large big box stores, but they carry just enough to have a little of everything. And then they staff it with incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff that treat you like you're most of a neighbor than a random customer. During the transaction, the salesperson informed us that on the morning of delivery, Living Spaces would contact us, provide a delivery time window, and offer us delivery time options. Instead, the day before delivery, we were notified of a fixed three-hour delivery window and told we would be charged a fee if we chose to reschedule. When I requested to cancel the order because the delivery arrangements differed from what we had been told at the time of purchase, I was informed that a cancellation fee would also apply. Ultimately, we changed our plans and accepted the delivery. However, this experience left us extremely disappointed. We feel that the information provided during the sales process was misleading, and the fees associated with rescheduling or canceling left us with little flexibility. Based on this experience, we do not anticipate making future furniture purchases from Living Spaces. This type of sales practice is unacceptable and does not reflect the level of customer service we expected.
