I'll probably never get to see this doctor since the b$%%# who answers the phone thinks she is a doctor and wouldn't listen to me.

In addition to his clinical excellence, Dr. Lavey is warm, attentive, and deeply committed to patient care. I asked his opinion of what might be best for my face and he suggested a brow lift and a facelift which included my neck. The thought of the brow lift initially scared me so I was reticent and thought perhaps I shouldn't do it. What I loved was that Dr. Lavey did not push me into the brow lift it at all. After another consult I decided to proceed with the brow lift in addition to my facelift and I'm so glad I did. What a huge difference. I was given a prescription for a strong pain medication to use after the procedure if I wanted, but I never needed anything other than over the counter Tylenol. All that worrying was for not because there was no pain with my procedures! It's more of a weird feeling because things are tight and numb. Incredible! Thank you thank you to Dr. Lavey and his staff for making me feel pretty again.

I came in for a consultation regarding a tummy tuck and liposuction--something that already requires a level of vulnerability. Instead of feeling guided or supported, I felt uncomfortable, rushed, and honestly intimidated the entire time. During the physical exam, he was extremely aggressive. He was pinching my skin so hard that I left with visible red marks all over my body. At one point, he was so rough that I actually stumbled forward because I couldn't keep my balance. That is completely unacceptable in a medical setting. The interaction itself felt more like an interrogation than a consultation. When I said I didn't have more questions, he would stare at me in silence and say "what else?" in a way that felt confrontational rather than helpful. It came across as him trying to assert dominance, which made the environment even more uncomfortable--especially considering I was already in a gown and in a vulnerable position. I also asked multiple times to see before-and-after photos of patients with a similar body type to mine. While I understand that no two bodies are identical, his responses were incredibly off-putting. Instead of respectfully explaining differences, he repeatedly compared me to other patients in a way that felt inappropriate and unprofessional--making comments like how I "look way better than her" or that someone else was "way bigger" than me. Hearing a doctor speak about past patients that way was honestly unsettling and made me feel uneasy about how patients are viewed and discussed in this office. He also handled me carelessly--at one point aggressively pulling up my bra (even though I was told to keep it on), causing it to make a loud ripping sound. It felt disrespectful and unnecessary. I understand consultations are free and doctors are busy, but that does not justify being rough, dismissive, or making a patient feel uneasy. If anything, I would rather pay for a consultation and be treated with basic respect and professionalism. For comparison, I've had consultations at Tri Valley Plastic Surgery, where the staff and doctors were kind, professional, and made me feel safe throughout the entire process--exactly how it should be. No one seeking plastic surgery should ever feel scared or uncomfortable. Unfortunately, that's the only way I can describe my experience here. I would not recommend this office.

I was a patient about 15 years ago and had a breast augmentation, followed shortly after by a belly button reconstruction. If I thought my breast procedure gave me confidence, having Dr. B reconstruct my belly button gave me even more. My results were amazing, natural, beautiful, and with zero complications. Even after 15 years, everything has held up wonderfully. That's why I'm coming back. The level of experience, honesty, and genuine care from Dr. Bansal and the entire team is truly next level. You don't just feel like a patient, you feel supported and valued. I'm looking forward to my next procedure, a mommy makeover, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with this journey.

I was always worried that they would only care about getting me to have as much work done as possible, without truly caring about my outcome or recovery, as long as they were able to bill as much as possible. I was also worried that I would need a brachioplasty (arm lift) due to the scarring it may leave behind, especially given that I have melanated skin. From the moment I walked through the doors at Elite MD, I was greeted with such a refreshing attitude. They listened to my concerns, honored what I actually wanted to have done, and never once tried to push additional procedures I wasn't inquiring about. In April, I underwent arm liposuction, and the experience, from the procedure itself all the way through my healing journey up to this point, has exceeded every expectation I had. Dr. Vivek Bansal and PA-C Tony Ho were exceptional throughout the procedure. The surgery was performed under local anesthesia, and even as I drifted in and out of sleep, I never once felt alone or afraid. The team checked in on me consistently throughout, offering reassurance and making sure I was comfortable at every moment. Despite working on my arms, they made sure to handle and reposition me with such gentleness and care that I always felt I was in safe hands. What also stood out to me was their refreshing honesty from the very beginning. Before I ever committed to anything, they sat down with me and were completely transparent: one-third of my results would be in their hands, one-third would come down to my genetics, and one-third would simply be unknown. They were equally candid about aligning my expectations with what they realistically anticipated my outcome to be, so that I was never caught off guard at any stage. That kind of integrity is rare, and it immediately put me at ease. The care didn't stop after the procedure. Roxana Danelson, my massage therapist, was an absolute gem throughout my recovery. Her lymphatic drainage massage sessions were incredibly supportive of the healing process, and she consistently provided personalized recommendations for what I could do between appointments to achieve the best possible outcome. Dr. Bansal and PA-C Tony Ho have also continued to check in on me regularly to monitor my progress and provide nutritional guidance, making sure that not only the healing of my arms was going smoothly, but so was this journey toward a healthier me. From the start, Dr. Bansal was upfront that even with Awake VASER® Liposuction and Renuvion® J-Plasma, a small brachioplasty might still be needed to fully achieve my goal, but that they would do everything in their power to get me as close as possible with this procedure. I am still in the early stages of my healing journey, and yet to say I am in awe of how my arms have already begun to transform is an understatement. I am incredibly excited for what is still to come as I continue to heal and progress. What truly sets Elite MD apart, though, is the heart behind everything they do. The warmth and kindness you feel from every single person there isn't a performance, it's genuine. They have cultivated an environment where you feel seen, heard, and truly cared for. Over the course of my treatment and recovery, they have continued to cheer me on and be openly honest with me the way only family can be. If you are considering any cosmetic procedure and want a team that will be honest with you, invest in your outcome, and walk alongside you through every step of your journey, I cannot recommend Elite MD enough. They truly are the greatest team one could possibly hope to be cared for by.

He was driving and collapsed forward in pain and could not regain a sitting position. It took 6-8 weeks of testing, imaging, medications and overwhelming frustration and concern. We ended up in Dr. Gardiner's office where he carefully examined the data, including approximately 50 needle samplings through our son's liver to the sight of a 2 in. mass. After Dr. Gartiner's review, he looked our 22 yr old son in the eye and said, Let's just get it out and evaluate the entire mass. My son was relived. The surgery had many complications since the mass had grown around the vena cava -- one wrong move and he could have bled out on the table. The diagnosis came in stages, took 6 weeks, and was found to be an extremely rare type of "tumor", an infection may be a better term. We were referred to the appropriate doctor/medical discipline and he was on Big Guns antibiotics for months. I give Dr. Gardiner credit for saving our son's life -- it was really close! He was a guiding light (BTW: SRV Hospital gets a D- for their part -- refused to give him any attention, not even water which was approved as was food, and the nurses just ignored him. I have a reaction to most drugs and he seemed to work with me regarding this. It's not that I'm looking forward to any surgery, but he put me at ease and I'm not as apprehensive as I previously was. UPDATE: I had the surgery and there were 3 hernias that needed repair. The doctor and staff did a great job. The surgery lasted about 3 hours, more or less. The pain was under control, however I did get very sick on the narcotics they gave me. I can't handle narcotics, so that wasn't really their fault. It is the second day and although I spend much time resting, I think each day gets better. I will continue to recommend Dr. Gardiner as a very good surgeon, and If I or my husband ever need surgery again, this is the doctor of our choice.

My husband mentioned a painful bodily issue I had experienced and Dr. Lee completely cut him off. He was somewhat dismissive regarding my pain issues following surgery done by Dat Tien Nguyen. He commented that I should simply be happy that the two breast lumps were not cancerous and basically to get over it; meaning the injuries and pain. I told him I was grateful the lumps were not cancerous, yet my pain was unbearable and I had blood oozing from my nipple. After he saw the blood coming out of my nipple he seemed to understand my pain and issues were legit. He did order blood work and an ultrasound, which was good. He reaffirmed what other pain specialists had told me; the nerve damage suffered during Nguyen's surgery would be with me for life. The nerve pain was and IS in my breast and runs down into my ribs. I told Dr. Lee I had seen Dr. Peter Wong at Tri Valley Physicians about a week prior to my visit with him. I told him Dr. Wong prescribed an antibiotic for an infection, which I soon learned I did not have. Dr. Lee also reaffirmed that patients should not be treated with antibiotics if they do not have an infection; as was my case. Keep that in mind folks; be certain you actually DO have an infection before being treated for an infection. I had the ultrasound performed, yet wasn't called with the results as promised. I called his office and an employee, Frida took my message regarding the test results. Frida (hope I am spelling her name correctly) was a gem. She is a nice lady, compassionate and very professional. She gave Dr. Lee my message, yet he still failed to call with the test results. I called again the following day, as I'd been waiting on pins and needles for the test results. Frida said my test results were setting on his desk and had been for a couple days. I could tell she was frustrated too that he had not yet called me. Finally, Dr. Lee did call with the test results, yet he did not speak to me. Instead he left very detailed, private medical testing information on my answering machine. I was livid when I retrieved the message. I called him and expressed being angered by him leaving the detailed testing results on my answering machine for my children to hear and he did not care. ...HIPAA violation. You guessed it, another doctor added to the "Do Not Recommend" list. Sadly, that list has become very long.
