was referred from my primary doctor for my chronic back pain for many years 5*, first rep I tried setting up appointment asked me all my information and stated you need to pay out of pocket since you were in a car accident. I stated to her that has nothing to do with this referral rude rep with attitude took my info and said we will call you back hung up. Second rep setting appointment and she calls me back twice because the first rep told her I was in a car accident which this referrAl has nothing to do with that it's my chronic back pain . These reps are only there to try to make you pay and denied my seeing with the specialist, VERY RUDE REPS. No customer service speaks over you. I am well was a new patient this is very bad. Especially I am trying to get my CHRONIC pain fixed. Is this how your reps treat everyone and try to make them pay vs using there insurance . Scam not going to be coming there . I will post this experience on every site for pleasanton , google WORST SERVICE EVER.

Guidelines for arthroscopic surgery. Retrieved from Medscape BR Journal of Sports Medicine
    SW S.

My husband consulted Dr Stine for hip pain in April, 2012. Dr Stine ordered an MRI and diagnosed a CAM lesion and labral tear caused by a pistol grip deformity of my husband's femoral head. Dr Stine was sure that this was the source of my husband's hip pain. Dr Stine said he "would recommend consideration for a diagnostic and therapeutic hip injection under live fluoroscopy." My husband agreed to the injection. Afterwards, he did not notice any change in his symptoms. On December 5, 2012, Dr Stine said that "given the failure of significant conservative management including rest, ice, anti-inflammatories, activity modification, physical therapy and injection therapy, the next step is to undergo hip arthroscopy," to which my husband agreed. My husband never recovered from the arthroscopy. He was in extreme pain for four months and found that it was often impossible to contact Dr Stine. I felt like Dr Stine had abandoned my husband, and so I yelped about it. The very next day Dr Stine called and persuaded my husband to ask me to delete my yelp. He made an appointment to see my husband immediately. He admitted that his arthroscopy had failed and scheduled my husband for a total hip replacement. It has been three years since Dr Stine replaced my husband's hip joint, and my husband is still in at least as much pain as before he consulted Dr Stine. Recently in reviewing his medical records, my husband realized that Dr Stine never explained to him that the lack of relief from any symptoms after his hip injection, which Dr Stine noted in the above quote from my husband's medical record, meant that my husband's pain did not come from his hip. Dr Stine should have explained to my husband at that point that surgery would not relieve the pain from which he continues to suffer. Clearly, my husband's "cadillac insurance" made Dr Stine see dollar signs and a chance to get more experience with the latest trend in hip surgery. While Dr Stine may be an excellent surgeon, he needs oversight in interpreting therapeutic and diagnostic indications. His enthusiasm and self-confidence can be persuasive, but get a second opinion before you let him operate. Recent reports have established that the arthroscopic procedure he used on my husband, in which cartilage is scraped and punched with little holes on the assumption that it will stimulate cartilage regrowth, lacks any evidence of benefit: in virtually all cases, this surgery has made a total hip replacement necessary. Hopefully, Dr Stine has learned this and is no longer practicing this procedure.

These are my before surgery and final result x rays with Dr. Horner as my surgeon.

Dr. Horner was my surgeon and I suffered an injury known as a Scapholunate Dissociation. An injury in which I thought I would never be able to have a functional wrist/hand ever again. But here I am, 4 months later after surgery, with a wrist that is nearly fully functional! Dr. Horner is really down to earth and easy to talk to. I couldn't be happier with the results! Thanks again Dr. Horner! Office & staff were also very nice and helpful!

An equivalent will be given to you for a price tag of over $700.

I trust him completely as I prepare for a knee replacement in the coming months, knowing that he is skilled and compassionate and this decision is not made lightly or hurriedly.

He also unabashedly promotes his network of services or doctors. He will say "oh I think you should go to this doctor here or the imaging center there"! Beware of this forcible sales tactic. He does not make informed diagnosis through MRI, he writes half hearted notes on MRI requests and the insurance either rejects it or requests him to connect with them, he and his office sit on those peer to peer consultations. The office person says "oh we give the Doctor's cell number but they don't call". If the insurance company is making a request to have peer consultation the doctor should have the responsibility to pick up the phone and make a case for the patien's MRI. He is terrible at following through. When I contacted the insurance company, they said the doctor does not return their calls for peer to peer consultations. I would advise not to see this doctor if you are in pain. It's best to find a professional who can focus on your care.

"A+ Quality, Friendly Staff"…read more For my next visit to Dr Bell, I decided to break my shoulder. Well, okay, not really broken-- the usual rotator cuff injury. The doctor described the tendons as "shredded." This was not exactly the adjective I was hoping for, and surgery was required. The surgery was uneventful, and took place right across the street at Hacienda Surgery Center. On my next visit to the doctor he provided color photos of my surgery. It's sort of like doing selfies, except you're unconscious. Several weeks later, I was in the capable hands of the onsite physical therapist, Mark Snyder, assisted by his capable assistant. Karen. These folks are excellent-- professional, as well as friendly. I sometimes call Mark, "Mr.Pain." It was originally, "Dr. Pain," but he reminded me he was not yet a doctor. I don't know why I came up with that nickname for Mark. During physical therapy, whilst icing my shoulder, the PT team allows me to watch the TV show, "Sherri." This is part of Mark's therapy, and provided at no extra charge. I am always pleased with the proficiency professionalism and courtesy of the great staff here. A top tier medical practice happens neither easily or quickly. Doctor Bell is a very capable surgeon. I would not go anywhere else. But please don't tell the physical therapist that I call him Mr.Pain. That nickname might be misinterpreted , and they might cut me off from the "Sherri" TV show.

I've been working primarily with James throughout my rehab, and also had the opportunity to work with Carlena during a few of my sessions. Both have been excellent and truly helped me regain strength, mobility, and confidence in my wrist -- I've seen major progress in getting back to my normal activities, especially with sports and fitness. Each session is thoughtfully structured: starting with a warm-up using the warm wax to loosen up the wrist and hand, followed by manual therapy to improve flexibility, and finishing with targeted exercises and mobility work to strengthen and stabilize the joint. While I still have some mild stiffness (as expected with nerve recovery), I feel much better equipped thanks to everything I've learned from James and Carlena. They've taken the time to educate me throughout the process so I can continue to progress on my own even after "graduating" from PT. Beyond the therapy itself, the environment at VibrantCare is welcoming and encouraging -- I always felt supported, motivated, and well cared for. Both James and Carlena are true professionals and great people to work with, and I won't hesitate to return if I ever need therapy again in the future. Highly recommend!
