They refinished our kitchen cabinets putting a light color over a dark color and did a wonderful job. When they finished a few of the doors needed a bit more paint in our opinion and they had no problem removing them and taking them to their business for another coat. I had heard of Law's Painting, but was not familiar with there work until my neighbor contracted with them to paint the outside of his house. Wow, they were neat, efficient, and did an amazing job. Four days later, and presto! My neighbor's house looked better than new. So... I had them paint the outside of my house, and was even more pleased, cause now MY house looks brand new! It's been 7 years since Law's did a complete interior repaint when I purchased my home. A little late on the review, yes. I don't think we had Yelp back then?! As I'm looking for someone to come do painting for me again, I came across Law's page and had to leave this review. I was completely dissatisfied and had a terrible experience. Everything from things in the contract not ever being done (trim around a side door to the garage) to paint spots on tile and cabinets that I found later, multiple bubbles in the front door paint that they wouldn't fix, and the icing on the cake was them trying to get an additional $2K after I had already paid the $8K we agreed on. To this day others have said I was completely taken advantage of and paid too much for the size of the house. I was a young, inexperienced first time homeowner. I didn't get multiple bids, and they knew it. I learned a lot. Won't make that mistake this time! At least 3 bids and I check reviews! read more

This was my first time working with Jon of Law Custom Painting. I found him to be very personable. After reviewing how to properly paint kitchen cabinets on uTube, I felt it was a job for a professional. I read the reviews on his website and saw that I knew one of people, which made me actually call for a quote. He has a wealth of knowledge regarding his product and materials. I would give him 5 stars, but.... and I only mention this because if you experience it with him, don't give up. His calls/text/email communications were pretty bad. I only stuck with it because of the review of someone I knew on his website. The finished product looks AMAZING! I would post a pic but the counter tops and back splash are not finished. In fact, I haven't even picked them out yet. So, I feel they take away from his work. If I ever need a painter again, he will be the first one I call. I highly recommend him. read more

I called Laws Custom Painting to ask questions about pricing and had asked to speak with the owner or supervisor and was instantly turned down by a man who responded with, "nope". And that instantly made me hang-up. That's horrible customer service. So please if you want information on Laws custom painting don't call them. I'm disappointed with how Law's ended the job on my home. There was communication problems about accounting between John and Ron, and it was taken out on us. We were happy until that point, and if we had been treated better would have given a better rating. John basically fired us as customers, referring us to Russel & Boals for future painting needs. So I suppose that's where I will refer others as well. To date they have still not returned to fix the bubbling in our front door, that is especially disappointing after Ron cut the bubbles open with his Key, exposing the white primer beneath (door is black), and promising to return and repaint the front door. It's sad things were left that way, I would definitely NOT recommend them. The painting was fine, but the customer service really killed it in the end. :( read more
