On Friday, they completed a final walkthrough with me, promptly addressed everything we noticed, and then had me walk through the project once more before they left to make sure I was completely satisfied. After this company painted the exterior of my home the end of October 2024, I discovered the following: Numerous unpainted areas. White paint on edges of tile roof. Outdoor lights left on my lawn and I found one light in a bush in my backyard, White paint on lawn and bushes. White paint splattered on my fence. Small holes, cracks, dings were never spackled prior to painting. A large heavy pot was removed from my front porch and left on top of my doormat , which was left in the bark in my garden bed. Scratch marks are all over my front porch and walkway where white paint was scraped off instead of using a graffiti remover solvent. My walkways and driveway and porch were not properly covered so paint was on these areas. In summary this paint job was extremely careless and unprofessional and sloppy. read more

I just had the exterior of my home painted by Diamond Star. I did my homework and received 3 quotes. I did my research and read every review I could find. I'm SO glad I went with Diamond Star! Because of my HOA, I had to paint the same colors. Well finding those colors 10 years later was no easy task. Tabitha and I figured it out and it looks amazing! Tim came out and was quick with my estimate. The owner and Tabitha came out for a site inspection a couple days later and the owner even power washed my home himself. (In 100 degree heat!) I cannot say enough about this company. Our entire house needed painting and we got multiple estimates. Diamond Star came in a with a very competitive offer. From the second they came out to do that estimate I was nothing but impressed with their customer service. Even the owner was involved. You will not meet a friendlier bunch of people. It is clear this is a family owned business and the employees are family too. AND, they're all happy to be where they're at. But, hey, what about the results? AMAZING. The workmanship, attention to detail, professionalism, and just overall courteousness was top notch. Were a few mistakes made? Of course. It's paint. But when I pointed things out they'd already noticed and were getting ready to fix it. Multiple people did quality control checks daily. And, while they were painting (it was a three day job) they cleaned up nightly. They left their supplies but they were all stacked and moved out of the way. The crew was so friendly that we know all their names. Jason, crew lead, couldn't have a bigger heart. His enthusiasm is crazy. He connected with our son and made sure to chat with him every day when he got home from school. You want Tanya painting your doors. She's got a knack for a smooth finish. Diamond Star Painting was one of the few businesses that came out and gave me a quote to paint the outside of my house. Jerame was great in explaining the process, the wait time, and everything that goes with the job. I've had a few questions that other painters danced around, Jerame was able to answer all of them. I had hesitations on the paint type, and he was able to provide quick and easy educational answers that helped me make my decision. A week before the job, I met with one of the company representatives to go over the job, what I require to be done, and how the job will be done. She was able to take notes and make sure to note small stucco patches that needed to be repaired. On the day of the job, a crew of five people showed up promptly and began working. They were able to complete the job by the end of the day. There were a few small areas that I felt like needed some attention, and they were responsive and took care of it right away. They cleaned up after the job and left me the leftover paint. At the end of the job, the owner came out to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. From the beginning, I met the estimator (Jeremy) who answered every question I had and even gave me advice that was much needed for my exterior paint project. He gave me the official estimate SAME DAY before leaving the site which was different compared to the other 4 companies I got quotes from. We reached out to Diamond Star Painting back in June for an estimate to paint our house. Jerame came by a few days later, explained the entire process and gave us a reasonable quote. The project was scheduled to start in late August which worked well as we had exterior renovations to complete beforehand. We had to delay the painting project as we needed a window replacement which was scheduled to arrive the same week as the painting project. The office staff regularly checked in and made sure we were still on the schedule. They were very accomodating of our delay and once the window was installed and stucco repaired, we were put back on the schedule the following week. The crew, led by Francisco, arrived on time and completed the entire project in just under 2 days (even with a slight rain delay on the 2nd day). We chose this company to do exterior paint and they did a good job on a large two-story. Helped us determine what trim to paint and did the job quickly and well. Only issue was the coffee colored trim paint on the gutters showed signs of drips since it rained the next day, but they responded fairly quickly and sent someone out to repaint.
