Of course, I clearly asked for a schnauzer cut. When I came back to pick her up, they had once again cut her fur the same length all over. This isn't the first time this has happened, which is why it's especially frustrating. The only part they seemed to get right was leaving her beard, but the rest of the grooming completely ignored what I requested. I tried to be patient and gave them several opportunities to get it right, but at this point, I've lost confidence in their ability to follow simple instructions. Unfortunately, this was their last chance. That said, the staff is very friendly and they treated my pup well. But what's the point if they don't do what you have paid for? Maybe they just don't know how to do a Schnauzer cut.

The super cool van was right on time, and McKenna gave my VERY anxious dog plenty of time to check out the space, gave her lots of treats, and moved slow to not scare her. She clearly knows how to interact with nervous dogs and keep everyone safe and comfortable. She answered all of my questions and gave me tips on how to help keep my dog's weird nails safe. The grooming took just about an hour, and I love that she came to my driveway so I could get other stuff done, but not have to leave my dog elsewhere for half a day. I'm an experienced cat owner, and I find Rena Repass, the owner, to be one of the best groomers I've dealt with over the years. She clearly loves animals, and has a loving, gentle way with them. She provides full dog-grooming services as well as cat grooming; based upon our experience with our kitty, I'm sure she's equally excellent with canines. She also works with horses from what I understand. She's friendly, warmly polite, reasonably priced, and quite knowledgeable. When I made my first appointment for our kitty, Rena asked a breed-specific question that I had only learned about myself the day prior. We have a Maine Coon, and they have specific grooming needs; Rena loves Coonies, and our little girl comes back smelling lovely and looking great. Her business has ample parking, and is near other businesses, such as a grocery store, so one can run errands while one's pet is being groomed. It's easy to find, and clearly a labor of love. Now that we've found Rena and Shaggy to Chic, we won't go anywhere else!

It was always a good experience for us. Buster passed away in early 2016 and our relationship with Healthy Paws ended. In spring of 2020 we got a rescue, a Malinois named Hank, who had been in 2 different shelters over the course of one and 1/2 years. He was extremely anxious and very leery of strangers, but the staff at healthy paws was gentle and took their time with him. On subsequent visits the staff was very good with him and noted his improved demeanor since he first visited and that was very encouraging to us. Due to covid he was never left alone from May 2020 to January 2021. When a family member passed away, we had to board him for the first time. He was at their boarding facility for 6 days, they were very accommodating when I called for updates, and when I picked him up he seemed to have taken the experience in stride. We are very happy customers!

They stayed late, examined him, stabilized him, determined he needed emergency surgery, located and contacted an emergency vet and had them on standby for us. Then they provided above and beyond followup care by treating us like family and showering us and our dog with empathy (they even had their groomer come over to the exam table to clean him up because we couldn't bathe him after surgery) The doctors and staff here left an imprint on our family that cannot be put into words.
