I'm sooo mad! I trusted them with my baby. Took 4 hrs to groom a 10 pound Maltipoo. If u schedule 6 dog on the same spot of course they have to wait. Poor Teddy can't stop liking himself in pain. Believe me I have been going to the Polished Pooch for many years and am definitely in their data base. I left 2 phone messages and 2 email messages for Tracy to contact me and offer an apology for keeping my dog for 4 hours in a cage with no water. I haven't heard a thing from her and just believe that she has so much business that she doesn't need an old previously happy client. I have since found a groomer that does not keep my precious in a cage-- ever. And the whole process takes 1 1/2 hours.. drop off to pick up. They take too many dogs with the same appointment times and don't allow for matted dogs needing more time than a 25 pound well combed dog yet taking care of 3 matted dogs first. This place is great! Everyone is so nice and genuine and they know their stuff! Whenever I drop off my fur baby, all the dogs look so good and cared after while they are getting their cuts. I take my babe to Hye Young Lee and she is amazing!! She loves dogs and I always know he will be taken care of when I drop him off. She takes her time and never cuts corners. She even suggests different hair styles we can try and all of the ones we have done have been amazing. I actually ended up following her from a previous groomer and never looked back! I highly recommend this place and will continue going there (even if it's 30 minutes out of my way) for the foreseeable future! read more

LIES!!!!! We have been using Polish Pooch for a while and they have been great until today! We were overcharged for the grooming service, the website states that dogs under 60 lb is $95 and our dog is 55lb, yet when we went to pay they charged us $110, which is the price for pets under 80 lbs as the website states. When we asked why we were being up-charged, they said it is not based off of weight (as the website states) )but it's based off of "hair". I have been bringing my two dogs here for a while because of the proximity to my home but today was the last straw. My husband and I both have very busy schedules, as do so many people who live in this area. They have never given us a time for a pickup for our dogs in the past that was accurate. But in the past, it would sometimes work out ok, not ideal but we dealt with it. It would make us angry and we would consider going somewhere else. At times it would take more than 4 hours to get our dogs done after their appt times. But we would try to be considerate to the business and give them credit. Today, was the straw that broke the camels back when the owner Tracy literally told me she was going to charge ME for the dogs being picked up late since they weren't ready at a reasonable time for pickup. Really??? My two dogs appt were made for 10:00 am this morning. I was out running errands around 1:20 (almost 4 hours after their appt time) and called to see if they were ready, no one answered, I left a message about picking up my dogs soon. No one called back. (many times no one calls back when you leave a message) At 3:20 ( 5 hours and half hours after their appt time) someone finally texts me to say they are ready. My husband and I were not in the immediate area to pick the dogs up right away since no one called back to at least give us an approximate time they would be ready. No one called until they were all ready to leave, as if we are both just sitting by the phone for 5 and a half hours a day waiting for them to finish with the dogs. We finally get there. Her own daughter, who works the reception sometimes, tells me it is usually a 3 - 4 hour pickup time after their appt time for two dogs. I told her it was 5 and a half hours later not 3 -4 hours. She charges me $40 surcharge for their mistake on keeping the dogs longer than they should have and I'm now late to pick them up. The only reason I did not get angry right that second with her was because she is a young adult and she's not the owner. I blame the parent, the adult, the owner, the person who should have been there to talk to me face to face about a surcharge that I should've actually charged them for the inconvenience in my day because of her inability to schedule her animals appropriately. So I paid because I knew I would call the owner momentarily and I didnt want to cause any stress to this young adult. Which by the way I think is cowardly on the owner's part to not be there and let her daughter deal with the customer. I called Tracy over the phone, the owner, and she proceeded to tell me that it is usually four hours for two dogs, (the estimated time got extended to a rigid 4 hours during this conversation). So I tell her it was 5 hours and a half today, to which she responds "that happens sometimes". She doesn't say, "I'm sorry for your inconvenience", like someone who owns a reputable business would say. Then I tell her I don't have all day to sit around and wait for your phone call or text for 5 hours and half. BTW, this isn't the first time my husband and I have had to wait over 5 hours + to pick up our dogs. Who knows if they are being taken out to go to the bathroom, given water, etc. The owner thinks its a joke to keep an animal for 5 and a half hours + for a grooming appt. Because the paying customer's time is not as important as her time. There are no update times for pickup or anything that would make sense to the paying customer. So I tell her I can't block off 5 hours and a half in the middle of my day to wait for a phone call to pick up my dogs. She responds "You must not care about them enough!" ... wow, this lady really needs a reality check, on life, customer service, so many things. To pretend to equate one with the other... Tracy has no idea what customer service looks like. She is completely unprofessional in her managing of appt times and dealing with customers when her business causes major delays to everyone's schedule. She obviously triple books her appts so if you schedule a morning appt you will likely see your dog in the late afternoon. That is unless enough people cancel or are a no show, then you'll have your dog ready within 2 hours. Lets not worry about the dogs sitting in these tiny cages waiting for 5 hours to go to the bathroom or get a sip of water. If you care about your dog or cat you will not bring them here. She only cares about the money. She should have admitted to the mistake she made today, the same mistake done several other times in the past, and should have apologized to me instead of charging me the additional charge for something SHE DIRECTLY caused. I will never come here again and will warn all of my friends and neighbors of this place. Not just because once again today she has disrupted my schedule, insulted me, blamed me, charged me, etc. Mostly because a business owner who can't take ownership for mistakes made by them doesn't deserve to be in business. read more

We were visiting the area and our Havanese needed a trim. Tracy was very friendly and I was able to send pictures of what Bailey should look like. They did a really nice job and Bailey was happy when we picked her up. I thought that the price was a little high but I am not familiar with what is normal for this in the area. I have used this groomer for 4+ years for my dog and several foster dogs. Excellent groomers, customer service and care has been taken at all times. Last year, Tracy alerted me to a swollen area under my dog's dark hair on her face,which turned out to be an abscessed tooth-so grateful for her observation! They have always been wonderful with foster dogs and these are dogs that we know little about and every experience has been great and no details in grooming are ever skipped. Custumer service A+. Polished Pooch was a real lifesaver when we got our rescue dog. The poor dog smelled terrible and she was afraid to go up the stairs to be bathed at home. We called at 3 pm on a busy saturday afternoon, but when we explained the situation the folks at Polished Pooch kindly agreed to fit us in if we could bring her right away. She was fearful but they were patient and took good care of her. Our dog is a shorthair, but the long hair dogs we saw leaving the salon looked great in their new haircuts and all seemed calm and happy. There is no waiting area here, but it's a nice neighborhood to hang out in, with shops & cafes etc., and they will call you when the dog is done. read more

The grooming salon is wonderful. My dog has always hated going to the groomers, but with Tracy he gets excited to go! They are caring and loving and do a fabulous job. Always very conscientious. I have also, just recently used their boarding facility at their home. It is wonderful!!!!! Lots of land for the dogs to run, with your own personalized stay..depending on your dogs needs.
