Brought In our 6-month old Lab puppy "Brody" yesterday. Our groomer, Stormie was really friendly and got along with our hyper-active puppy well. He hadn't been cleaned in 3 weeks since getting neutered, so it was nice to treat him. We picked up a few hours later and he was fantastic looking. They did a great job and he smelt so good. Me and the wifey snuggled up with him all night watching movies. We will be back and highly recommend. read more

My wife and I have been taking our doodle here for 2 years now. They've always done a fantastic job. The ladies are very friendly and accommodating to our busy schedule! They are a little pricy, but we've found it totally worth it - we've tried taking him to Petsmart and it looked like I did it myself. A few times we've asked to get him out on a Saturday, and they do charge a fee of $10. When we ask for an early out, they always have him ready on time! The first time I came here, I was worried about my dog and they offered to show me the entire store. Not sure what's going on with the above comment, but I'm pretty sure they don't do any kind of boarding. read more

We used to take our puppy here just for grooming -- never tried their boarding services. They seem clean, at least in the front, and the staff was always nice, but we stopped going because we found them a little expensive compared to other places. Note: they charge more for Saturday services, an extra $20. The other thing we didn't like is no matter what time we dropped off our pooch, pick-up was always 4p or later. Even if he was 1st dropped off at opening time, he was never ready til later in the day. By the time we would get puppy home, he would RUN to his water bowl.... he never runs for water -- for food, yes, absolutely, ain't no stopping him, get out of his way, but for water...never. That was a concern for us that he was that thirsty, so we stopped going there. Their grooming service was fine though and they do teeth brushing too as part of their cut n groom, but the price and delayed pick up had us start going to another place. read more

I have been taking my Pompom here for about 6 years and have been quite satisfied each time. Even with new staff through out the years, I have not yet have had one bad experience. They are always so happy to see my dog and she looks (and smells!) amazing everytime I pick her up. They are always very accomodating to the time frame that I want to pick her up. Seeing all these reviews about the prices is surprising considering other places like Petsmart/ Petco who charge the same -if not more and they don't even compare. I think the prices are fair for the wonderful job they do and how nice they are to my pup. Even if they are a little more pricey, I think it's totally worth it for the peace of mind. read more

I am appalled by the level of customer service I received at this establishment. I called several days ago to schedule an appointment with a "master groomer" for my Scottish Terrier. I confirmed that arriving at 2:30 PM would allow sufficient time before closing in order to have my dog groomed; I was assured this would not be an issue. I confirmed the time and provided my name and phone number for their records. I left work early in order to be there on time. I am conscious of the value of time and absolutely abhor being late to anything, especially to something that concerns my dogs. I arrived at 2:15 today, hurried inside, where the receptionist took note of my name and went to the little back room. The "master groomer" came out and the first words out of her mouth were "you're late, I can't take you." I stood there confused because I was 15 minutes early. I explained this to her, the fact that I had an appointment for 2:30 PM and she said there was no way she could take my dog because she had to leave early...she had to go home to I don't know where. A) I confirmed my time B) I got there early C)I gave you my phone number, you could've called me if you thought I was 2 hours late to tell me so D)If you're leaving early, it's irrelevant, don't blame that on me. How do you run a business like this? How could you possibly call yourself a business? Congratulations, you used to show Scottish Terriers, does this mean you're entitled to have little regard for my time? How disrespectful. And then you have the audacity to come over and remark on how long my dog's coat is and how she should be hand stripped....geez, no wonder I set foot in your place...to fulfill that agreement that you failed to execute! I left there feeling completely disrespected and aggravated. Not once, not once, did she even say she was sorry about anything...thanks for the 20 minute drive to nowhere where I got nothing done. read more

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to write this. I am very unsatisfied with the quality of the cat grooming, and I feel very insulted by how the store owner (Linda) treated me. This was my first time getting my cat a lion cut. Amy, the groomer, after specifically having told me that cats' legs are particularly sensitive, shaved the back of my cat's right leg so closely and/or applied so much pressure with the razor, that she left a spot about 1.5 - 2 inches long, where my cat's skin is exposed, very pink, and looks like it was scraped. Amy alleges that this is normal irritation from the shave; but actually, nowhere else on my cat's legs or torso that was shaved is his skin so exposed, and nowhere else (except his nipples, as explained below) did it look like his skin was scraped. Two days after the grooming, I touched a spot on the exposed skin that looked a little bit crusty, which indeed felt crusty, possibly from having oozed some fluid. Also, two or three of my cat's nipples looked like they had been nicked - they were red and looked a little bit crusty, as if they had oozed some fluid or a drop of blood. This is clearly NOT normal irritation from grooming, no matter how much Amy insists that it is. Also, it has been 3 days now since the grooming. The fact that the pinkness and raw-looking texture has not gone away indicates that this is not just razor burn. Amy has completely failed to address why she shaved so close to my cat's skin in that delicate hind leg area. Adding insult to injury (literally): Not only did the owner, Linda, refuse to refund my payment, but she made absolutely no attempt to discuss the problem with me. Amy was the one who called me back to tell me that Linda won't refund my payment. That shows how little Linda cares about customers. I also regret having tipped Amy $30. She could have at least had the courtesy to offer to give that back to me. I had no idea about the scrape to my cat's leg and to his nipples until we got home. I should NOT be required to jump through hoops -- i.e., bring my cat back for them to examine, or first take him to the vet (both are traumatic events for my timid cat) -- in order to get my money back. Featherle provided defective and unsatisfactory service, so I should get my money back simply based on that. It's bad enough that my cat's skin is scraped, but the fact that the store owner has refused to refund my payment, or even attempt to address my concerns, is very insulting. read more

I had been taking my dog for about a year, and I guess something changed within the 3 months between hair appointments because they raised their prices by $30 (according to the girl at the front desk). I didn't find out until I was already there with my dog, but they still, as usual did an amazing job. read more

The grooming always wonderful but my dog was running to the bowl to drink and drink. I dropped him off at 8:00a.m and picked him up at 5:00 and looks like nobody gave him water. He could not stop drinking. Don't leave your pet there all day! read more

I have been taking my very small Yorkie to Featherle for the past 15 years and have no complaints. After a very bad experience with a local groomer that paralyzed her right eye from pulling on her too hard (she is 2lbs 9 oz) I would never go anywhere else. Now that she's an old girl and blind they let me bring her in and wait to minimize her stress and time she has to stay there. I moved to Ashburn 10 years ago and still come back to Sterling to have her groomed. The only negative is they have become a bit pricy over the years but for me peace of mind is worth the extra cost read more

I love Amy! She does an amazing job with my Maine Coon cat. I understand that they charge an extra 10.00 for Saturday service but I have always been happy with results. Amy is a very caring groomer who treats my cat with respect. I would recommend her highly! read more
