I ordered the chicken shawarma over rice with some vegetable toppings. Each topping was an additional dollar so kinda pricy in my opinion, but they do give a good amount of each so not much complaining about that here. The food itself was well seasoned and the sauces were flavorful. The rice was kinda bland but as a vessel for everything else, this is passable. The pita I ordered on the side was disappointing. What a mistake ordering from these guys.I asked for extra chicken and barely got any for a regular order.Plus the chicken comes like bread crumbs; it's like they gathered all the droppings from everyone's meals and put it on a plate.not ONE piece of shredded chicken as they advertise. Interesting place, not really authentic shawarma, some weird toppings that could include such as olives. The spices are definitely more Indian in flavor. We got medium spice level, but it was closer to very hot at most other places-our mouths are still tingling. It is nice that they have halal food though. read more

I had a DR APPT in the same plaza so stopped here as only one person inside at lunchtime so I knew it'd be quick and I felt like something better than the other fast food in the same plaza. I visited the store at 12:30am June 20/2021 and the front cashier employee told me can not make shawarma because the pita bread will break. I thought she was joking I asked her again pardon me this is a shawarma place and you are telling me can not serve shawarma. Okay. So me and hubby disagree on this place. He loves it, yet i am on the fence. I am not a big super spicy food fan but hubby says that the spicy sauce is super delicious and burns well. The fries are great! The salad is fresh. The rice is sadly bland (-.5 star). Garlic sauce is good. The price is a little high for what you get but not unreasonable. The meat is in my opinion under spiced if you choose small amount of hot sauce. Basically if you want flavour get the hot sauce and you will be happy. If you cant handle hot sauce you may find the main parts a little bland. The place is clean and the servers are pretty fast. Overall not bad. Going to shit. Been going to this location since the day it opened and it used to be really freaking good. The shawarma wraps used to have sauce, food actually tasted fresh and the price was still a bit expensive but whatever lol. I eat from this location once or twice a week and have noticed it going downhill. They are super stingy with the sauce and portion as when I've ordered a shawarma in the last few months, it tasted super dry. Like no sauce at all and keep in mind that the price has increased by a bit. Even when I order their large on the rocks, all the good bites are in the corner of the box and its only rice and chicken for the rest of the bites and no sauce. The price has also gone up to like $16. Didn't use to be like that. There's also an increase in cartilage pieces in the food items they have here and the chicken nowadays usually is not fresh. I've been to some locations at Mississauga and the difference of food quality and service is night and day! Prices have gone up and quality has gone down in this location. There's better options for shawarmas if you want a good proper one such as Ali Baba's (one at Rexdale) or Osmow's (Albion location, some locations r garbage too sometimes). Any middle eastern store is way better if you are looking for rice and chicken (on the rocks). Will not be ordering from here again as I am sick and tired of constantly receiving shitty orders again and again. Don't waste your money till these guys get their act together! read more
