During the application, the technician used two different styles of tips and several were visibly glued on crooked. When she began filing them into shape, I pointed out that I did not want crooked nails. Rather than correcting the issue professionally, she appeared upset and moved me to another seat--where I then waited while she worked on another client for roughly 30 minutes. A different technician ultimately had to finish my nails. While I appreciate that someone else stepped in, it should not have been necessary after such a basic request for properly aligned, matching tips. I was seated next to my daughter, whose nails had been made far longer than I was comfortable with. I asked the technician to shorten them, but she deferred to my daughter instead. As her parent and the person paying for the service, I expected my request regarding nail length to be respected. Afterward, I was told my daughter's set would cost $90, and although an explanation was given, it was not communicated clearly enough for me to understand the charge. The cleanliness was also concerning. Stations did not appear to be cleaned between clients, and there were nail clippings left on the workspace. I had to brush off the station before sitting down. Overall, I left feeling that the service, communication, cleanliness, and pricing were not handled professionally. I would strongly recommend confirming all pricing upfront and paying close attention to sanitation and the quality of the work before proceeding.
