The bright hall is bathed in natural light and also has four lovely chandeliers. There was plenty of room to seat everyone and set things up buffet style. Columns of quaint dining dishes allowed us to take advantage of using as many we needed for a multi-course meal sustainably. Three deep sinks made prep and cleanup a breeze. Simply appointed cozy rooms were lovely to retire to at the end of the day. (I presume these were Sunday School rooms once-upon a time). We didn't use the church part actively, but it served those who needed a quiet, serene place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of a family gathering. I noticed that they have special prices through the end of the year and will consider them again for hosting our holiday meals or special events.

Camps/conferences: Located in Donnelly, ID on Lake Cascade, this venue offers a stunning view of Tamarack ski resort across the way. The campground is well-kept, clean, and offers lodging for both large and small groups alike. In the summer, they have paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks that you can take out on the water, and in the winter, cozy up in the fireside room next to the fireplace. Wedding Venue: I have had 3 friends get married here, and all have had gorgeous ceremonies/receptions. When nature gives you a remarkable backdrop, it sure does help bring down the cost of decorating. I've seen two ceremonies near the water area, and one out in an open field. Most recently, my best friend got married here and opted to have her ceremony and reception in the open field. Her father-in-law constructed poles to hang lights from over the whole reception area and dance floor, giving this fall wedding a dreamy and whimsical feel to it. Additionally, they allowed the caterers to use the kitchen to prepare the food for this event. The bride and groom also paid a little bit extra so that the wedding party could stay the night in Faith Height's cabins/lodge the night of the wedding, as Faith Heights is about a 2-hour drive from Boise. Very easy to maneuver our 43 ft Class A Coach. BETTER lanes, BETTER electric pedestals, more gravel & virtually... no weeds. Thank you !! We checked in and ran some errands around town. Then headed in for dinner & drinks. Kristie was our Bartender.... What a delightful lady. Full of conversation and just plain pleasant to talk with. Tonight's special was fish & chips. Nice & crispy. Kim, from the kitchen came out to take our order and she also was a hoot !! They had a big Cornhole tournament going on. That also was fun to watch..... they sure make it look easy!! It's time for Kari to retire as she is salary & not a volunteer! She catered to the lodge members over the guests. No print outs for codes to hookups. We again had to ask for them even though we had paid for our site. She had no clue to the lodge's Website!

There's so much shade from the trees that even a summer wedding, as long as it's in the evening, is totally doable. The bridal suite is massive which is awesome.
