Awesome Pizza and great service. Very pet friendly. Great atmosphere. I wish we had this in Kalamazoo MI.

Every year about this time, we make the trek to Frankenmuth for a conference. Generally will eat the traditional fare here. But I passed by this beautiful building on my way into town. My Wife is a huge pizza fan. She could eat it every day. So I mentioned in passing that this might be a different type of setting. And it was indeed. Super clean. Red and black all the way through. We both ordered a beer and My Wife got a personal pan pizza. It was eight dollars with two dollars per topping. I ordered the Michigan chicken, cherry salad. We had got there around five and the place was steadily filling up as we sat. Mary, our waitress was very knowledgeable and kind. We felt fairly good about what we had ordered. But let me tell you once we got it, it blew our minds. My wife's pizza was outstanding. She said maybe the best she's ever had. I rolled my eyes and then she offered me a bite. And it was. Truly. A lot of times when you order pizza it's falling off of the crust. It's uneven. This was perfection. She couldn't believe it. Frankly neither could I. The crust was soft and you couldn't tell it from the toppings. No separation nothing falling off and cooked so well. My chicken cherry salad is a favorite in Michigan and they did it right. Each portion was great and more than enough for the both of us. We talked about it the rest of the night. If you have the chance, make sure you visit. It's one of a kind and one of the best experiences we have had for old favorites made new. read more

Called in for carryout pizza while camping in the area. This lazy dog vibe restaurant was packed and had live music playing. Our server addressed us right away when we arrived and our carryout was ready within the time committed. The pizza was piping hot when we got it back to the camper. We had a deep dish Hawaiian, large with pepperoni and bacon and a meat lovers pizza. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next night and had a deep dish BLT , a chicken bacon ranch pizza and an order of garlic cheese curds. We very much enjoyed the pizza and curds and will be coming back when in the area again. read more

Food: we ordered the thin crust. Its too thin! It is crisp like a cracker. Better for hors doeuvres. There were a lot of veggies, not as much meat. Its going to hurt them you cant order a beer. Service: fine Ambiance: love u can be outside for summer. Love they help dogs. read more

Service was horrible. Waited struggled with three drinks(all soda) to start with. Finally arrived with drinks and took the apps order which he again struggled with. 20 mins later apps arrived. Had to go to counter to ask if we could place our main order. Order was taken and food randomly appeared. One pizza at a time. Atleast the food was hot when recieved but nothing more than generic pizza. 25 mins after we recieved the first pizza order the last one finally arrived. Makes for awkward eating when each person was almost finished before the next arrived. read more

Made a stop here while on a family trip to Frankenmuth. Super quick service. New spot with really cool vibes. There are pictures of doggos in the carry out section. It looks like the dine in area is still being built. This will be my go to pizza when I visit. Sauce was delicious and the flavored crust is on point. read more

So delicious--loved the crust, it is like a NY style--with great flavor. Mozzarella cheese is super fresh tasting. The pepperoni and ham toppings are of superior quality, too! Stopped in here on a whim. Being a pizza afficionado from the Chicagoland area I was a little skeptical about Detroit style pizza but it is fantastic. Super value for the money as well. One of the very few places to get food in Frankenmuth late at night! Small pizzeria that's a little harder to find and at a darker corner, so not my favorite ambiance at night. I grew up a city girl and I'm not comfy in very quiet areas. But it's welcoming and service was nice, delivery is also convenient. I wasn't sure what to expect after the disappointment earlier in the day at a "tourist trap" restaurant but Lazy Dog came through and left me wanting to return! We chose to keep it simple, ordering just a Cheese & Pepperoni pizza and a Michigan Cherry salad. The pizza was honestly one of the best cheese & pepperoni pizza's I have ever had! It had so much flavor with the perfect amount of toppings & thickness! The salad had fresh vegetables with plenty of cherries, feta & sunflower seeds. This is some of the best pizza I've ever had. I'm a connoisseur of pizza, and was very pleasantly surprised here. Tried the Mac and cheese pizza, and the BBQ chicken pizza. Take out only, couple of tables inside but not a real dining room. Pizza was delish, bone in wings with BBQ yum. BBQ chicken was my fav but the Mediterranean was really good too. Reasonably priced. Only negative was Service was slow. We ordered online and it told us 30 minutes. Took over 50 minutes which doesn't sound awful but when waiting standing in their lobby is less than ideal. read more
