This pizza is excellent! I eat a lot of pizza (I have teenagers) and this is our fav. The dough is the right amount of chew. Plenty of cheese and I'm obsessed with how small they chop their toppings. So good. Attention to detail is everything. The bacon is my favorite. It's very smokey and salty which I love. The sauce is very traditional with not a lot of herbs. I prefer this. It makes for an excellent bite. It's out in Beecher which might be a hike for some, but worth it. Personally I drive from two counties over. Check them out You want me disappointed. Service is always excellent It's just a chill neighborhood place to hang out but with excellent food. read more

This restaurant is so amazing good. I got a carry out of a medium pepperoni and mushroom pizza and an order of the pretzel bread! So delish!!! My dogs, that are super spoiled gave it 4 paws up! Ok the food for me is all about the meat pizza. One of the best pizza I've ever tasted in my life. It's like the toppings are so fresh. I can't speak for the rest of the menu, oh wait yes I can. Ordered a take out on a Saturday night - large pizza with pepperoni, ham, ground beef, half mushrooms and double cheese. Got it home and was very disappointed. It had half mushrooms all right, but also half ham and actually with very little meat items! Luckily ordered a side of deep fried mushrooms which were delicious and is the only thing I ate. This was my first time eating here and I wouldn't recommend eating there again. While their lasagna was delicious, everything else was garbage. The service sucked and the time it took was beyond any time it should've been for us to get noticed, then to receive our appetizer, & actual food. We ordered dinners and they were supposed to get breadsticks, but we never got any breadsticks. We ordered appetizers and it took them TOO long to even make them. Even our server was wondering why our appetizers were taking so long too. I truly was hoping for a pleasant experience and ended up deciding that I will never go here again. Yeah the lasagna was delicious, but I can delicious lasagna from Luigi's and even better service at Luigi's too. For anyone wondering Luigi's is on Davison Rd. in Flint. Always a place of nostalgia for me. I grew up in Beecher and been eating at Roma's for years. My mom would take us there on special occasions for pizza and lasagna. Although my kids haven't grown up in Beecher they still ask for me to bring Roma's back. Of course I get the lasagna and Stromboli it still one of my favorite places. read more

This is a 2 star review because I did once get s good pizza from them. So tonight I ordered a $25 (with tip) pizza, all meat with peppers and mushrooms....this is what showed up. I called 6 times to order it and was hung up on 5 times by Veronica. I called to complain, no one cares. I'm done this time. I've orders 10-12 pizza in the last month from here but this is the last one. They are too busy, ok let them be busy Some weeks on ....this place has totally turned around, great staff, awesome servers and great food. Can't recommend highly enough read more

Went back to see an Old Friend, Roma's & wish I had Not. Service was the only thing positive I can say. Hygiene not a top priority-when you wear rubber gloves, do not cough in your hand and then mess with your ear buds then go back to the food you are preparing. When you have drama about deliveries, maybe keep it on the down low and not make it everyone's business. Real sad and will NOT go back. Food sucked. read more

Went out for family dinner at this place, Service is good but the soda is flat and watered down. So I ordered pizza everyone else ordered something other than pizza. They got there food in 25 mins I got my food in 1 37 min it was cold and was ok.  When the bill came they tried to add an additional meal that the server said I had to speak to the manager about getting it removed.  No breaks nothing!   The bath rooms were a nightmare.  no soap, no TP, no hand towels. read more

My daughter and I just had dinner there what a treat. The server Emilee was fabulous. We had such a great time do to her great service and the food was so good. The whole experience was exceptional. The antipasto salad was so fresh and loaded with goodies. Nice to get a salad that isn't all lettuce. There deep fried cauliflower is the best any where and our pizza was so good. My husband & I went to Roma's for a late lunch today. It's been years since we've been there. I had the lasagna & it was amazing! It also came with homemade chicken noodle soup & garlic bread twists that melted in my mouth. My husband had the wonderful baked manicotti, a salad & garlic toast; all was great too. Still just as bad as ever. Horrible, horrible, horrible. It's still dank and dirty and has probably the loudest dining room of any sit-down restaurant of which I know. I've been here several times over the years with some extended family who are in love with this place for reasons that defy logic. They call it "old school." I call it a relic of years gone by. They insist on eating at this dive every time they are in town. I've no idea why, but they've been dining here for years and can't handle the idea of eating somewhere else. Maybe it was good once, I don't know, but it must have been a very long time ago. Their pizza is mediocre at best and they use the same tasteless red sauce for everything- from pizzas to ravioli, manicotti, lasagna, spaghetti, etc. You can't use the same sauce for every dish! Someone should clue the kitchen staff in on that. Honestly, the sauce tastes bland and definitely prepared in advance, perhaps from a can or jar, akin to Hunt's tomato paste. Don't ask for salad, it's a joke, with wilted lettuce and just a splash of dressing. The leftover pizza tastes exactly like the cardboard takeout box almost immediately. I'm not joking. The last time I ate here, I left with serious indigestion afterward. Maybe it was the sauce? No one that I've known, other than the extended relatives of mine that seem to adore this place out of nostalgia (I'm not that nostalgic, sorry), seems to like their food, either. My husband, two old boyfriends and a friend have all tried the food here and each one said the same thing: it was bland and mediocre and in no way seemed like authentic Italian. And the service is always slow and is sometimes rude to boot! I've had to go up to the bar and demand the check from our server so that we could leave once! Without exception, worst pizza I've ever eaten and this includes a Red Baron frozen pizza- leftover after two days. Most generic and unappetizing sauce ever and the pizza tastes something along the lines of cardboard or wood pulp. Bland and boring. Yikes, it's bad and it sucks! I'm pretty sure I got canned or frozen veggie toppings on mine. With so many good pizza places around, I seriously can't imagine why anyone would choose this place over other competing pizzerias. Go anywhere else for a pizza, heck, even Pizza Hut is definitely better than this inexcusable mess. I prefer Italian Gardens pizza, but really, just about any pizza is preferable to this crap. As a scattered brained-bride to be, on my way to our wedding rehearsal, I realized I had forgotten to order the food for our rehearsal dinner in advance! I called Roma's , doubting they would still be able to supply the order I was requesting on such short notice (1 hour notice) and THEY MADE IT HAPPEN!! The food (baked lasagna, stromboli, antipasto and pretzel breadsticks) was all wonderful, fresh, hot and homemade! Ashley was wonderful and had great telephone customer service. Terrible,Terrible ,Terrible..... very bad food , and very expensive. We ordered an appetizer that looked like it was made from left overs at a price of $15. Two pizzas three Sprites bill was almost $80.00!!! For the worst pizza..... it was burnt hardly any cheese, and an air filled crust. They deceive the public with their sign. I never like to leave a really bad review, but this place was very bad. The people were nice, but they need much improvement with their food if they are going to charge those prices, very disappointing meal. I would rate them zero if I could. :( read more

For 60 years my family has been praising the food from this restaurant, never again will I do that. Our waitress was good but she could not make up for the dingy atmosphere or incompetence of the kitchen staff. The antipasto salad was good but the dressing came in plastic packets. The cheese/ garlic bread was horrible { had a slab of cheese on top of flavorless cold bread}. The personal pizza ordered for my grand daughter was ignored and the cook had to be reminded to fill the order. My daughter's beverage glass had something in it that should not have been there. Thru out the meal we were pestered by flies. The large pizza had raw dough and it was not even a deep dish style. Because of the dim lighting I did not see the gratuity that the restaurant adds to the bill so I tipped the server in cash as I always do. When we left we were harassed by a dirty nasty mouthed man in a wheelchair. He tried to block our car from leaving { maybe wanting me to bump him so he could file a law suit??} I will never return and would not send even someone I did not like to this place. read more

I love romas! I spend a lot of money there. But sadly the last 2 visits have been not so good, I mean I have had a messed up order from them alot but they are always good at making it rite.yesterday I ordered 35.oo $ of food when I got home 3 items of my order was missing and 1 was wrong , I called they were very sory and gave me 10 % credit.... so the very next day my boyfriend wanted to try again cause he also loves romas. So we order... I was ok with waiting a extra hour than they said for our food but again we get home and did not have our full order. I call and they say , oh yeah we are out of that... but I still get charged even though they are out smh. Ok so we will give u a discount. And my chicken was dry, ok brind it back to be re made, oh and on this order they also did not put my dressing for my salad or the veggies on my steak. So I take it back and pick up the remake chicken n my dressing they forgot for a side salad witch is the smallest salad they have and when I get home I open the bag and in bbn it is the remake chicken and 23!!!! Yes 23 dressings!!!!!! For a side salad!!!!! I felt that to be very unnecessary and that they were being funny all because they messed my order up 2 days in a row. Our new favorite place to eat!!! The first time I had the pizza and my husband had Stromboli, both were very good. Not real cheap, but homemade and very tasty. The second time we went Monday for lunch. Let me tell you can not beat their lunch special. We had the pizza sub, for under 5.00 a sub and salad. We have enjoyed the thin crust pizzas here many times!! The antipasto salads are excellent! The dinner salads are equally fresh and good. The wait staff has consistently been friendly and welcoming. We have patronized ROMA's on Saginaw for three years ( since we moved to just the other side of Beecher. ) Never had a bad meal. Never been treated poorly. Never understood why some folks would say other wise. Perhaps they had too much to drink?? Who knows. This is our ONLY pizza getting restaurant!! Love it and the food and service!! read more
