This was the only breakfast/coffee shop in Crawford that was open on a Monday morning. We were pleasantly surprised. It's a cozy cafe and our server was very friendly. There's plenty seating indoors with loads of board games and outdoor seating as well. We got the breakfast burrito and an egg and bagel sandwich which was perfection. The cinnamon roll is definitely not to be missed. Highly recommended.

Super cute coffee shop with a good selection of coffee and local pastries! Tastefully decorated in farmhouse chic decor! They have indoor seating, as well as a front patio area with a little bench and sun umbrella too. Wifi also available. Ashlynn, our cashier/barista, was awesome! She knows how to whip up a strong iced latte that kept us awake throughout our five hour drive. Check in on Yelp for a free large latte too!

Very cute coffee shop with really good food and better people! Had the bacon egg and cheese on a bagel with extra bacon. Ordered it 3 different times it was so good. The caramel macchiato is delicious too. They have a cute book store section as well. I was able to find a bunch of cute gifts.

Absolute gem of a place and worth going out of your way for. Delightful prepared drinks and homemade pastries. Nicely decorated and great porch to relax and enjoy!

    Cool place with a view.

Even my 9 year old devoured them. Chicken and waffles was perfectly cooked and I liked the pickled onions added. Only negative was that they were out of all of the good wine selections and only had those from a local winery that I did not care for. Would definitely return when again in Paonia.

Sitting outside was comfortable and I was well cared for by the staff. The second night was a bit cooler so I ate inside. It's a sweet, little space, comfortable, cozy with 8 2 tops which can be configured to accommodate larger parties. The bar has 6 seats. The staff are friendly, accommodating, smiling and greet everyone who enters. I arrived early the second night so there was room for me. Suggest you make reservations, especially if your more than one person. On the second night I had the Buddha bowl which was delicious! I chose a beef skewer and shiitake mushroom skewer over veggies and rice. Delicious! I talked we the other guests from The Bross B&B who as Leo ate there and had identical experiences. They ate fried chicken and waffles which sounds weird and they raved shout them! The place is small. The menu is ample for having choices. It doesn't look like much as you walk up to it and when you walk inside, it is beautiful!

The Dogwood is a cocktail cabin that is located in the heart of downtown Crested Butte. They keep the lights dimmed and have a fun music playlist that creates a nice relaxed atmosphere. The floor creaks as you walk through the cabin and they have cool chandeliers. We were initially told it would be a long wait, but somehow they found a table rather quickly for us. It was cold out, so we appreciated it. The Dogwood has a nice variety of artisanal cocktails on their menu. Our server was very helpful with giving us some options. I didn't have my readers on me and had a hard time reading the menu. So her describing some of the cocktails to me was very helpful. Dogwood has a number of classic drinks, margaritas and martinis. Some of the fun names that I saw were Thor's Hammer, D Cup, Porch Song, Mr. Pink and Beetnik. I ordered the Headhunter and enjoyed my drink. For food, Dogwood has charcuterie-style bites and other light snacks. This was a great find and a nice way to cap off our fun trip to Crested Butte.

The drinks are pricey, but you're really paying for the ambience and care that they put into making each drink. The menus has plenty of options, but you can also order your favorite with your choice of spirits. I opted for a whiskey sour with my beloved Suntory Toki and it was dang good! I initially ordered Suntory Hibiki (a more expensive version of Suntory's whiskey), but I loved that our waitress made sure I saw the price listed for that whiskey was "per ounce"... so my cocktail would have been $50! I very much appreciated that she pointed that out instead of just putting in my order and then me being surprised by the cost! Not a ton of food options, yet they do offer charcuterie plates with your choice of cheeses and meats. We don't go that route, but cocktails and charcuterie would be great for a date night! We took two seats at the bar and were lucky enough to have Tina helping us, she was so friendly and knowledgeable, really a gem. We started with the fiery passion and the rum sour and were impressed by the complexity of flavors in both, the fiery passion was a real winner, with a taste of passionfruit, and the habanero pineapple in the rum really coming through, but not in a overly sweet way, just enough. The chili sugar rim was a unique way to really set it over the top. The rum sour was also delicious, the Demerara, giving it almost a hint of an old-fashioned, but keeping it light and foamy throughout. Such an incredible set of cocktails. I also had the tomato bisque soup, it was so yummy and cheesy, and the staff were nice enough to bring out some local made bread toasted on the side. Then, Tina made us her own special cocktail, a take on a strawberry spicy rum, with an egg white to give it a delicious foamy texture. All the drinks are delicious, and Tina noted that they were the strongest cocktails in the area, with 2 1/2 shots per drink. We were definitely feeling fun and talkative as we were leaving. This place was so upbeat, with games to choose from, but still keeping a refined mountain vibe. We tried to go back again the next day, but had finished earlier and the bar didn't open yet! Bummer. We don't find our way to crested Butte often but next time we are there, it will surely be a stop.

Surprisingly large inside with one side dedicated to the bar and the other side the more traditional restaurant-style. Good variety of beer and cocktails. Was surprised they even had a cider on tap, which is usually hit or miss when I go to a bar. Since it was "experimental," they only charged $3 for it. Loved the creativity behind their cocktails - their Strawberry Banana Clarified Punch was both smooth and tasty. It is a smaller serving - glass came half full including the ice - but probably because the normal mixers are infused in the tequila. They had a very limited food menu while we were there. They were serving BBQ, and you had the option of pulled pork or sausage. A couple different side options. Nothing special about the food - it was enjoyable and at reasonable prices. Wouldn't make a special trip back for the food but would gladly order it if I was already there. Staff were so pleasant. Parking was super easy - spots in front as well as a dirt lot across the street. Overall, enjoyable time. Recommend you stop by for some good drinks!
