I would start inside the main building, where there is exhibitions on the railroad of tuckerton and long beach, on the lighthouse, and on coast guards. very informative and interesting. Side note: the museum entrance is a bit confusing, as we almost drived into the musuem, first one has to park in a parking lot which is straight, and one passes the entrance. We also entered the building and the front desk person was very friendly and showed us the attraction and handed us a map. So anyways, we entered the main building first. The main building also has the lighthouse, which cost $5.00 per person to climb. My dad did it, and the view is of the small lake. The other buildings are outside, walkable and are a copy of old times. There is a boathouse, surf shop, clam and oyster shop, and various other buildings. There is also activities in some of the buildings where one can experiment for themselves on how it is like to fish for clams for instance. Overall had a great time here. Highly recommend to check it out!
