My family and I went out with Captain Tom on a sunset cruise and we were all disappointed when we had to come back in due to the weather. We were leaving the next day so a sunset cruise the following day was out of the question. So Captain Tom suggested that we meet up with him at his boat the next morning. We ended up going across the bay to Tuckerton where we had a wonderful breakfast at the Dockside Cafe. The breakfast and the trip across the bay (part of it at full throttle) was wonderfully exhilarating. Captain Tom is a great host. He is very polite and is knowledgeable of the history and geography of the area. We are planning on coming back next year to go fishing with LBI Boat Tours. Best memory of our vacation. I thought I knew Barnegat Bay but after a tour with Capt. Tom Masterson of LBI Boat Tours I learned so much more! The ride was wonderful, the boat was very comfortable and it was great to be out on the water. We stopped in Mott's Creek at a little out of the way place for a drink and then continued the tour. We took a dock and dine tour with Captain Tom for my husband's birthday. The ride across the bay to Tuckerton was great and we had a delicious dinner at Panini Bay (thank you to Tom for the terrific suggestion!) Took a sunset cruise on the bay with 4 other people. The Boat was a clean as could be and Captain Tom was extremely knowledgeable of the area, had a calm demeanor, and even brought the boat up to 60MPH upon our request. The cruise was BYOB, Pet friendly, and food allowed. Apparently he does fishing and daytime tours as well. I would highly recommend this boat tour for a reasonable price! read more

Can't say enough about captain Tom! A true gentleman of LBI! So much history, knowledge and charisma! My family had a blast and we brought our own wine and enjoyed the beautiful views!!! What a wonderful sunset cruise! My friends and I had a wonderful time cruising around the bay, seeing LBI from a very different perspective, and the sunset was gorgeous. My husband and I recently did the bay tour and it was fabulous! Tom and his crew were friendly, fun and knowledgeable about the history of the island.
