He and his crew arrived promptly as scheduled with an impressive caravan of professional equipment. They did everything we agreed upon - including stump grinding, chipping, and clean-up - plus more. He also gave me welcome advice on some less than healthy bushes on the property. In addition to the excellent work, Omar is extremely professional, a gentleman, and absolute pleasure to talk to and deal with. Needed two massive trees (and I mean massive) removed from my property…read more Called numerous tree services for estimates / proposals. Some came with ridiculous prices. Some came with reasonable prices but no insurance Some came - saw the trees and left. Some said they would come but never did. Westchester Tree came - gave a reasonable price with proper insurance. Once work began they couldn't have be more hard working and professional. Work was done in the allotted time frame - proper cleanup occurred every day. Cleanup included neighbor's yard as well. Co-owner Bill stopped by all three (3) days checking on progress. Bill is "old school honest" as he made right on a minor mishap on my fence. An Extremely Positive Experience

The guy who came for the treatment consultation (Bartlett) was very nice, professional and had answers to my questions. Bill's partner who came to quote the pruning was nice enough but when I asked for a price, I was given a very vague answer that it would cost "X" but "X" wouldn't guarantee that the job would be complete. So I asked 2 more times what would be the cost to complete the job and finally I got an answer but it was 2X! Significantly higher than anyone else. I decided not to go with them. I was disappointed I didn't get Bill. Everyone said he's the honest one. He's the knowledgeable one. I noticed my neighbors aren't using WTL anymore either. Be careful when you sign with them. Make sure you read your contract. Be sure your quote is to complete a job, not just for part.

The first thing you see on the Timberline Website is "Call us for Free Estimates" I did call, told…read morethem I want them to look at 2 evergreens with yellowing leaves. I again asked them if the estimates are free the person who answered the phone said "absolutely". Two days later someone from Timberline called to make an appointment and told me the estimate costs $200. I told him that is not what the website or the person who answered the phone said. He told me the estimate is free only if we cut down the tree. That is not what is written. How can you trust a place that has false advertisement and lies before you use them . Every other arborist I call give legitimate free estimates.
