Overall very happy with this tree service! We needed a gigantic tree removed that was really close to the house and behind a small fence - definitely a tricky spot. I got a few quotes from other companies that ranged wildly. Ramos & V was one of the lower quotes. I checked their insurance coverages, license, etc. and everything looked good. They came with a double crew, several trucks, and a crane! Took down the tree in half a day. Returned the next day to remove the big chunks and grind the stump. There was some slight miscommunication because we wanted to keep some logs and woodchips and the crew apparently didn't get the message, but not a big deal. Especially considering what a monster that tree was! Next time we need a whole tree removed, Ramos & V will definitely be on my list. read more

I had a great experience with Ramos & V tree company in Pelham NY. I gave them a call on Thursday, to cut the branches of several trees above my roof and to cut down 3 trees. They came by Friday morning to give me a quote and did everything I asked for at a reasonable price on Saturday afternoon. The team was extremely professional and did a great job making sure nothing was damaged and that everything was clean before they left. They were all very friendly and did a great job. our neighbor was having tree work. The guys driving the truck asked if they could drive up on our grass to get to the other side of the trees. Instead, the pressure of their truck was on our driveway and caused huge open cracks. The owner of the company refuses to take responsibly. I am going to file a police report. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I'm not sure what their deal is- smooth talking owner who promises and doesn't deliver. Hired him to cut a tree and he left stumps! No grinding - here for 45 minutes before it got dark and took 2K from me. I demanded they come back and clean up the big mess they left - he still didn't finish the job. I think he works for the county and squeezes in side gigs for the cash - 4 trucks arrived at once - two in the driveway and one cutting the tree to stumps that are about 20 feet tall and an eyesore. Why 4 trucks, two idling on the road? Who knows? His workers are chauvinist p**gs. Showed no respect while on my property and would not convey my concerns to the owner ( like take a small branch from the property while they were at it) and they shrugged, showed some attempt to appease me and then left. Real jerks. I've used other tree companies in the past but wanted this job done quickly before a wind storm could possibly cause damage to an out building. The other company - though more expensive, did an awesome job so I know how this works. This guy, Ramos, is a scammer who knows nothing about trees. I'm an idiot to trust him and not wait for another company to give me an estimate. Don't repeat my mistake and don't believe good reviews (that are most likely written by an employee). I paid this company to cut trees and remove. I paid Ramos 8k cash before they finished. This was day 2. So 2 days or work for 8k, I'm an idiot to begin with. Anyway, Ramos took my cash and never finished the work. See pics. Left logs. Huge stump and even a half cut tree. Moral of the story, don't be an idiot like me and hire this company and pay them cash before they finish. They will take your money and run. I have hired anther tree company to finish the job. Mr Ramos was great to work with he was beyond respectful and took care of everything that we discussed he always answered his phone and always took time to explain in detail how our trees would be removed he gave us a very fair price and was a man of his word I honesty can't say anything negative he and his team are on the money and they CLEANED after the job was complete and did it with out any reminders watching them in action was a sight these guys know what there doing they had a great system mr Ramos runs a smooth operation. We had several people come over and price out the job and something about mr Ramos just made us comfortable so put our trust in him and I can't explain how happy we are with the results. I am a very picky person and I have to say our outcome was great.
