Initially, I scheduled a Signature Facial and intended to utilize a complimentary add-on from a promotional email for additional extraction time. Due to a change in my schedule, I contacted the studio the day prior and was met with warmth and flexibility. The staff member kindly assured me that my complimentary add-on would be transferred to the new appointment and that I need not worry about it. I was also informed I would be working with Luisa, which I found reassuring. It was especially comforting to hear that she has a firm touch, aligning with my preference, which made me feel valued and understood, enhancing my overall confidence in the service. My appointment was scheduled for 2:20 PM. While driving from Plantation, I received a call asking if I could come in at 2:00 PM instead. I explained I could not confidently commit to that time but would arrive as soon as possible. The staff member was understanding. When I arrived, I was unexpectedly assigned to Ayanna instead. While I remained open to the change, it was not communicated in advance. I asked for makeup removal wipe and was told double cleansing would take care of everything, which I appreciated. As the service began, the experience felt rushed. My preference form was not reviewed, and I had to ask for a bolster due to lower back issues and for the table heater to be turned on, both of which were noted on my form. I was also asked again whether I preferred a guided or quiet service, which I had already specified. Early on, it was repeatedly mentioned that there would not be enough time for certain parts of the facial, including the extractions I had selected. This made it difficult to relax and be present. This facial felt very different from my previous visits. I have been to Sana 3-5 times and had never felt rushed or disconnected before. I asked for more pressure during massage and extractions, and did not receive the level of care or guidance I usually expect. Instead of leaving grounded and supported, I left feeling anxious and deflated. At the end of the appointment, I noticed I still had eyeliner, concealer, and foundation on my skin. I asked the front desk for a wipe, and the head of vibe was kind, empathetic, and validating, which I truly appreciated. I kept browsing through the items in the showroom (which were sooo cutely decorated with snow!! Such a magical touch) and ended up getting a facial oil for my gua sha routine (their gua sha tool is life changing). At checkout, I noticed I was being charged for the add-on that was supposed to be free, and the face oil I added was not included on the tab. When I explained the earlier phone conversation, I was told that the add-on was not the correct one for the promotion and that, in the future, I should tell the aesthetician what was said so this won't happen again. It felt dismissive, but she still gave understanding and finessed the add-on for today. In that moment, I felt small, as though I were responsible for an internal communication breakdown. I'm sharing this with a heavy heart, as Sana has recently updated its menu and policies, making this visit feel more transactional than personal. I felt rushed through the experience, which was truly heartbreaking, especially given how much I've cherished this studio in the past. I want to clarify that I'm not closing the door on returning. I still hold a strong belief in Sana's mission and hope to find the right aesthetician before committing to a membership. I sincerely hope this feedback is received with care, as it reflects how much client presence, communication, and consistency mean to those of us who have chosen Sana time and again.

This place was clean, organized and smelled fresh. I waited no more than five minutes before I was quickly taken into the exam room. I was asked a few questions about my health, my skin, and basically what brought me in for the visit. The medical assistant who is helping was also very patient and friendly. The one thing that stood out immediately was how friendly all of the staff members are. After a few short minutes of being in the exam room, the doctor came in and introduced herself. We spoke a little bit about my skins history and what procedures I was getting done before. She gave me some recommendations of other facilities in Fort Lauderdale that handle the specific type of issue that I was visiting for. She also recommended the same procedure that I was receiving from a different physician many many many years ago when I lived in New York. I really appreciate the fact that they did not try to force anything on me, or get me to do something or try something that they were not comfortable with let alone I was not comfortable with. The doctor was confident enough to give me information for a different office in Fort Lauderdale that can handle my situation way better than she can, but she also still offered the same procedure in office while I was there. The bottom line here is you rarely go to a doctor's office these days where a doctor will truthfully tell you what they think or what they feel or even refer you to go somewhere else for treatment that they know they truly cannot handle. Honesty like that for a medical professional is rare these days. I ended up getting a treatment done same day, and I have an appointment for one month to come back for a follow up. I arrived a few minutes early because I was on a time crunch, but I waited in the lobby alone until after my appointment time started. I heard people, which I believe were employees talking in the back for a while. About 5 minutes after my appointment "officially" started my technician came to the lobby to tell me she was going to clean off the bed and would be right back. A couple minutes later she returned and walked me to the back. She asked me to sit on the wet bed, which I did. She went over the consent form and began going over the process, but I was familiar with a lash lift, so I asked her to just get to the service. At this point it was already 20 minutes after my appointment time started and the service still hadn't begun. She finally got to the service and started with a nice relaxing massage (about a minute). Then she proceeded to tape down my lashes for the next 10 minutes. She struggled to do this because she cleaned my eyes with a sopping wet cotton round. Then she asked me to open my eyes, which let even more micellar water in my eyes. She eventually gave up on taping down my bottom lashes. Everything from here went downhill. She asked me why if my eyes are always so watery....Uh they weren't until you saturated them. Then she proceeds to glue down the lash form. She gave me medium, which was for the first time of my life. My lashes a me pretty long and I always get at least large. She offered me a tissue to help with the scent of the first smelly cream. I declined. She got sooo much of it in my eyes that they sarted to burn horribly and wouldn't stop pouring tears . I told her it was burning and she tried to clean it, but she got a lot of product directly in my eyes. I was ready to run to the bathroom and wash my face. She rushed through the rest of the process and even took the lash forms off then put them back on to clean off the excess product. She put them back onto do the tint, but by then I was ready to run out. After she was done she handed me the mirror and I've never seen my eyes so bloodshot and so puffy. They were painful on their own and to the touch. It took days for them to feel normal. Then I finally saw the outcome...this is the worst last lift of my life. They are soooo crooked, crossed, and unnatural. 2 stars for the good service. For context, I have had over 15 lash lifts in my life and this was my worst by far! I'm stuck like this for 3 months and now my lashes are starting to thin out.
