Wow, after 13 years of using LeBoeuf Rubbish Removal, I contacted them to cancel our service (13 yrs. on automatic payment, they NEVER had to wait for our money) due to relocation (1300 miles away) and they are going to charge us $70.00 to return our barrels. I offered to drop them off, to avoid the fee, and was instructed that there was NO WHERE to do that; but if the people buying the house continued service, they would credit the return fee. What .... basically, there is no way to avoid this fee. Just another way to get more money out of you! These guys have come to our apartment building since I was a little kid. Waking up early on a Monday morning just to watch them empty the dumpster with an old mack truck. They still are our provider to this day. Local and from my town of Southbridge. I'm glad they're increasing their advertising on Facebook as they deserve local support in dealing with the town's trash issue. read more

UPDATED AGAIN TODAY (5/14/18): See the newly attached photos. He saw my reviews on Facebook and yelp so he sent a new set of bills to try and scare and harass me. This guy is a small town yokel local with a minimal education and started up a "rubbish" company. Because that's who and what he knows. Al's trash service has been impeccably amazing since I signed up. They are on time every week. They provided a trashcan with in two hours of me signing up. They've called me to ask how I felt the service has been after two weeks. And they also picked up additional trash at no charge as a courtesy and a thank you for being a customer. they're extremely polite and professional unlike the folks at LeBoeuf! ORIGINAL REVIEW (MAY 2018): Please do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere! Al's rubbish & container have been super professional and polite and they're on time and delivered a trashbin within an hour of me taking service with them. Eric and Larry at Leboeuf rubbish have no customer service skills whatsoever and think that the world should bow down to them and continue to feed them money without them providing a service to anyone. Even the hard working gentleman who came to pick up my trash (with a smile) has told me that he hates working for those two dolts! Buyer beware, if you don't like the fact that they don't pick up your trash on a weekly basis even though it's agreed upon up front, then you better be ready for a bunch of cancellation fees and bin pick up fees because they still need to afford their house and car payments! They have been so disrespectful and unapologetic about their poor service and terribly extremely rude customer service that I've had to go to the lengths for the first time in 10 years to cancel my debit card to ensure that these swindlers do not charge me for trashcan pick up. They're happy to pick up the trash cans to take them off my property at an exorbitant unauthorized fee (Because in most cases it's the only way they can get a second CC charge from somebody since nobody remains a customer for more than one quarter) but they're not willing to pick up my agreed upon weekly scheduled trash at the prepaid quarterly rate. If we're lucky, these guys will be out of business soon UPDATE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW (JUNE 15, 2018): Larry Leboeuf, the owner, Has now resorted to harassment techniques. When I called to cancel my service, he immediately turned offensive, got hostile, defensive, angry and deemed me as inappropriate and unprofessional on the telephone all for simply calling to cancel my service. I did not have a contract with Leboeuf rubbish removal. Terms and conditions or policies were never sent to me electronically or in the mail. When I requested that I have my service terminated, he immediately informed me there was a $200 trashcan pick up charge that would be assessed to my account. I offered to him the point that there was never any record of a trashcan removal fee provided to me and his only defense was "well you never asked!" In reading other reviews it sounds like this is his modus operandi and it's extremely arbitrary because he makes up a number off the top of his head and sees who will pay it. In other reviews it looks like he charges different amounts to different people at any given time just to see what he can collect. The reason I state that his techniques have turned to harassment is because after my initial review in May, I received phone calls from him at 9:30 at night on a Friday evening and he seem to be quite intoxicated. Before I hung up on him, he was pleading for me to remove my reviews on Google and Facebook. He continued trying to call me that evening until I finally blocked his phone number. And now as of today, I received a bill from trashbilling.com. This company is simply a accounts receivable department that manages customer payments to lebouef however Larry Leboeuf has access to typing messages through the billing service and having them come to your email box. I have received multiple from him today. The latest states "ACCOUNT PAST DUE, CALL NOW TO AVOID A $40.00 NONREFUNDABLE COURT FEE AND A $60.00 SHERIFF FEE." Now I am no lawyer, however my girlfriend is. This is very humorous because it is absolutely unenforceable and again completely arbitrary. He would have to go to the links to take us to small claims court or collections court and those aren't even the actual fees that would be associated with those cases. What he has done by sending this message is crossed the line into harassment. Long story short here people; Stay as far away from this company as you can as it will do you wonders in the long run! Avoid the headaches and the heartburn! If this company had any common sense, they would pick up the kids book that explains to them that you collect more bees with honey than you do vinegar. I have been a customer of Lebouef rubbish removal for 7 years. I have heard a lot of bad things about these people. I wish I had listened. I've been having medical problems to which i explained to them. I was in the hospital for about a week and when I got out I had numerous emails stating that if I didn't pay that I would be taken to court and have the sheriffs office come to my house. When I called they were incredibly rude, very unprofessional and not an ounce of care. I paid my past due and cancelled my service. The guy was getting very very upset with me almost to the point of screaming , to which I promptly hung up. Then I get emails stating I had signed a contract for 5 years, seriously who signs a 5 year contract for trash service. The contract which never existed and to which I did not sign and that I had to pay over 400 dollars for early termination. these people are crooks and unprofessional. Look at all of the reviews posted on google, facebook, yelp etc etc and you'll see a recurring theme over 7 years. Is there anything less than absolute zero? Asking because LeBoeuf trash is in a literal sense total garbage. I understand rubbish removal isn't the sexiest of jobs, nor is it glamorous, fun, or even meaningful. That being said the way they treat there customers is a crime. Thank God there are other options for trash removal. If you can get away with NOT using crooks like LeBoeuf I'd STRONGLY recommend it. Go with a company who isn't lazy or miserable. Speaking directly to LeBoeuf employees now. If you're reading this and you are truly that miserable with your job I hope you find peace. I'd recommend you quit and find something better. Switched to Leboeuf because they had a better price but cancelled after just 3 months of service. They kept missing my garbage pickup and then tried to tell me I didn't have it out at the curb when I called to let them know. Then they would say i had to wait another week to get my garbage picked up but, oh don't worry, they won't charge me for extra bags...like they were doing me a favor. Anyway...gave them many chances but they couldn't get it right, so I cancelled and then they tried charging me an early termination fee of $135. They ultimately tried to sue me in small claims court. I couldn't wait to go and tell a magistrate how bad this business really is. Unfortunately, they're smarter than that - they agreed to dismiss the case before it could be heard by the magistrate because they knew they didn't have a leg to stand on. Moral of the story. You get what you pay for. I tried to save a few bucks switching to them and it was terrible. Please, do yourself a favor, read these reviews. Rude and unprofessional; office staff is condescending and hangs up on you before you're done talking. They change prices without telling you. Truck driver is always mad about something, sometimes knocks over your trash, and he leaves some of it on the ground for you to pick up. Stay away. This is one of the least professional companies I've ever dealt with. BBB shows A+ I thought that was impossible. Turns out you get an A+ rating for *responding to customer complaints*. I would not recommend this business to anyone! If I could leave zero stars, I would. The owner is a rude, unprofessional peon of a man. After years of paying for the ever increasing fees, the time came to cancel. Upon cancellation this clown of a owner fabricated a contract (to which we neither signed nor verbally agreed to). In this contract, he claimed that there was a $70 pickup fee for his own barrels! So I have been a customer at Leboeuf's Rubbish for 12 years, Recently, I started taking video of the trash man picking up the trash and dropping it out of the barrel. Also, I was charged 10.00 for an extra bag on the side of the barrel after receiving an email stating they were late on their route and would finish Friday , which is when they came. I guess, if they showed up on Wednesday which is my allotted pick up day by LeBeouf's, then there wouldn't be an extra bag. When I called, he was extremely rude and when I brought this to his attention, he thanked me for telling him he needed customer service classes. Drivers are able to allege pickup of recycling without actually completing the job. Follow-ups to dispatch only result in "he said/she said" with no actual resolution. There are several other trash and recycling options available that provide better, more complete service. read more

Wife just called simply enquiring about why our trash hadn't been picked up this week and ended up in an argument with a person who claimed to be the owner. After 13 years, our collection was missed this week and instead of making amends and crediting us for services not rendered, he decided to argue about if he does us a favor, he has to do it for everyone, wth! It was one of the most surreal phone calls I've ever heard over a $10 charge. At this time of year, I can't help but think about Scrooge and needless to say we'll be looking somewhere else, even if we have to pay more. Update: So, this bizarre voyage continues. Owner demanded written confirmation to end service, which we did and he responds with an email yesterday through TrashBilling, to call us out on a disputed charge for excess trash 3 1/2 years ago, calling us liars. 11/11/2019 Left rubbish bin out for collection day, driver drove past house and didn't collect (have it on video). Spoke with Larry the "part" owner whom is just not easy to work with. He said maybe the driver was on the phone or tablet and was distracted??? (So that's a CDL Violation, not to mention a trash truck doing 50 in a 30). I asked Larry what he was gonna do to make things right and he said we would have to let the trash pile up and wait until the next pickup date. When I told him this was not good enough he then proceeded to tell me if he sends the driver back it will be to dump the bin out on our driveway and take his trash bin back even though we just prepaid 3 months in advance. I once just caught the driver picking up my recyclables at 6 am, he told me he tries to beat the people in the morning so he doesn't have to pick up their barrel. Every human being on the planet beware of this company they are the worst company ever. They dont have good customer service they dont care about the customer and you the customer is never right . They figure out how to add random fees and suspend your account very easily for non payment after 2 weeks late. Like its trash you know I need it every week why do they just suspend your account and still bill you until you pay and then add interest for not paying. They say you have different color bags aka black bags in the trash they charge extra like come on its trash isnt that what I'm paying you to pick up. Horrible business, horrible customer service. The company they use to send out digital billing failed to send us a bill in December. Come January, instead of calling like most small businesses to check up on why the bill wasn't paid, they charged us late fees and suspended our service with a $35 fee for that as well. This all happened in a 2 week time span. We called them today to rectify the situation, as we have never been late on a bill, and they are refusing to work with us, insisting the bill was sent. When I asked them to forward me a copy of it with a date stamp, they said they had no way of doing that. This company is predatory. Look elsewhere. read more

One time, I wasn't aware that I had a balance due, so he literally calls me randomly while I'm at work and tells me that if I don't pay my trash bill, that there will be a warrant out for my arrest... LOL and that was the first notice of any sort of overdue balance. Wouldn't it have been more kind to just send me an invoice in the mail like a normal company? Customer service is not their strong point- actually the owner is rediculous to deal with. Do not use this company for trash removal- in the last 4 months we have received 8 emails stating "delays" to our service due to " flu, holidays, and weather" the week of thanksgiving we were told they could not pick up our trash on time (we have scheduled pick ups every other week on Friday) because of the holiday. We live on a busy street and I will not leave my trash out for days until the truck comes by. When I asked to cancel my service the owner, Larry was rude, and even threatened me with legal action when I asked him where in the contract it states he can charge me to pick up HIS container! PS...I never signed a contract and therefore he could not produce a copy of it when I asked...I also never stated I would not pay- I asked for validation of the fee...simple disclosure...he could not produce any information and said I had to pay for the pick up of the container or I could face the magistrate... DO NOT do business with this company...after 6 years , paying on time, Larry made sure I would never use this service again. Doesn't even deserve one star. Stay Away from this company. They pick up when they feel like it, even though you have a set day. When you call to complain they blame it on the customer. For 3 weeks straight they didn't take my tenants trash so the trash was over flowing. My tenant recently moved out and cancelled her service. When they came to pick up the trash bin they threw all the trash that was in the bin all over my driveway. I had brokening glass and trash everywhere. When I called to ask why was it done like that I got excuse after excuse. The person who took my call was the owner of the company and he was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I immediately terminated my service as well. Three of my neighbor's cancelled their service as well due to the poor service they all were receiving. It's all about the MONEY and not about the customers. Don't let the cheap price fool you like it did me. We contacted them and told them we wanted trash pickup for 3 months. They sent their standard contract which unfortunately did not reflect the 3 months but we didn't pick up on that. Signed the contract expecting them to honor our verbal request only to learn today when we went to have them pick up the container at the end of the three months that the fine print on the back states one is signing up for a 5 year term. WTF! Yes, we should have read the fine print - but does anyone especially when they think - in this case so very wrongly - that they are dealing with a reputable business. I know I'll get nowhere with my letters to the Attorney General and the Consumers Affair Division and the Central Mass BBB but the more people that complain about this deceptive practice - and it is as the term of the contract should be plainly stated on the front of the contract - perhaps something will be done about it someday. In the meantime consider our mistake and their lousy business practices before you consider using them. There have to be other reasonable options. Also, be aware that you need to cancel from the 5 year term between 60-180 days of the contract expiration - they will not send you a warning I have been told. read more
