This is definitely a very local spot - I'm sure we were the only non-Parisians there - but there is some English on the menu, and the server knew English as well. THE COST: 20€ for two coffees and one brunch entree. THE SERVICE: Super nice. I sent back a drink and felt really bad about it, but our server was really sweet and just seemed concerned and asked what was wrong with it (it was the Jus Citron Gingembre - see below). I also left my backpack here and one of the servers ran a couple blocks to catch up with me and give it to me! THE WAIT: None on a Monday at 11:30am. They don't have many tables/seats and the place was about half full. By the time we left about an hour later, every table/seat was taken! THE FOOD: * Jus Citron Gingembre - 1 star This was pretty terrible, basically lightly flavored water. I would hardly call this a juice. Our server was nice about me sending this back and did offer to add more flavor to it. * Cappuccino - 4 stars It was creamy and more bitter that other cappuccinos I've had in Paris (which was good! Not too sweet). * Latte - 4 stars This was my replacement drink, and it was great! Lots of creamy foam. * Tartine - 4.5 stars Amazing!! Soft airy bread with a good thick crust, and a delicious combination cheese/honey/hummus and sweet pickled veggies (I don't even like other things!).
