    Fresh lemonade

My friend who's been at this restaurant a few years back dragged me here for a lunch break even though it was a bit out of the way from where we were sightseeing. They must be popular in the neighborhood and in high demand - we went to their two "petit" locations (which didn't serve noodles with soup) before ending up at this "proper" location. All three locations were within walking distance & owned/operated by the same people. I'm very glad he dragged me here. They served both Cambodian & Vietnamese dishes. We had the spring rolls, pho with fried spring rolls & Cambodian chicken soup (I didn't realize this was served with rice, I requested to switch it out with noodle) along with fresh lemonade. Everything was authentic, delicious, vegetables were super fresh/plentiful and the meat (chicken, beef, pork) was tasty & cooked just right. I can see why it's very popular. I would definitely come back again & pay my friend forward by bringing others who haven't been here. There was indoor & outdoor seating. Be warned, the tables were very close to each other, the chairs were tiny and the table was tiny - we had to juggle all our orders. Also, beware smokers if you grab an outdoor table. Everybody made it work though.

Nice interior and the cleanest washroom I've found in Paris.. The chicken curry was average, not a great sauce. Friendly staff.

When we found a Cambodian restaurant in Paris, we had to try it! We didn't expect the restaurant to look so classy and couldn't find it right away! They have an English menu. My boyfriend who speaks Cambodian was impressed with the way the Parisian servers pronounced the dishes. The Shrimp Spring Rolls were good! They use very thin vermicelli so it the fish sauce really gets soaked into the Spring Rolls well. The Shrimp taste very fresh and sweet. Somlam Tchou was very sweet... too sweet and it was hard to finish. The flavor was pretty overwhelming. Nom Peuchok was ok... it's a mix of coconut milk with curry powder. I'm not too sure how this dish is actually suppose to taste in Cambodia, but it was a little boring. The flavor was just coconut milk and there wasn't any interesting kick. Nothing that impressed me. There is some white fish in there, but it didn't accentuate the flavor :(

Not sure where you're from but I'm pretty sure this is not considered authentic Cambodian food. The curry was tomato based and the Bobun is a vermecilli bowl which is pretty good, however traditionally a Vietnamese dish. I think it's geared more towards "parisians" definitely not an authentic Cambodian restaurant.

This place is awesome!!!!!! My sister and I were looking for some Asian Restuarant around the area cuz it's close to our hotel. We got here around 9:30pm on Thursday night and it's so packed, only 4 seats left. The server was super nice and he speaks good English (thanks god cuz they don't have menu in English) he explained everything for us even he was super busy. The foods came out pretty fast and so good. If u never have Cambodia food before, to be award that the noodles soup is kinda sweet and everything else is perfect ;) We will def come back when we visit Paris again.

Wow this place exceeded my expectations. Never had Cambodian food before but definitely a fan now. I guess it tasted like a sweeter version of Vietnamese food to me. All menus in French only, we got the beef summer rolls (good with amazing sauce), beef soup -which comes with noodles and the bay bon, a mixed dish of beef onion and shrimp over vermcelli with lettuce and mint and bean sprouts to wrap it in. Everything was fresh, simple and delicious. Place got super packed at dinner time, lots of take out orders , for an order of fried spring rolls to go and it was delicious 。 instead of ordering from a waiter directly you write down ur order on a paper and hand it to the friendly but understaffed waitstaff--- are all Parisian establishments understaffed, seems to be a common issue

Nice try. Good vibe and nice terrace but the food is meh. The bo bun comes predressed and swimming in their sauce. "Mix it well" the waiter says. Well, the bowl is so small, you really can't do that. So you start with flavorless bites and dive into a salty, soupy mess. There are far better places with more interesting menu, better execution and lower prices. Even the drinks were overpriced.

    Bo bun special.

Great food. I had the bo bun special. I tried some na tin, and it's amazing. Friendly staff, and clean bathroom.

What a cute little restaurant that serves great authentic Cambodian dishes. The egg rolls were awesome, and came with all the lettuce and bean sprouts for you to wrap with. The bun was a great light rice noodle dish, and the natin was a full flavored curry dish. I know it is Cambodian, but the place is also oh so very Parisian.

I have not had Cambodian cuisine ever... One thing I have to say was the people here were extremely friendly and courteous which if not for their lovely customer service, my rating would have been much lower. The place is nice and cozy, it wasn't that busy, matter of fact, I believe I was the only customer at that time - not sure if it was still too early for dinner, too late for lunch or - the thought that the place/food just isn't that popular - anyway. I ordered an appetizer which reminds me of soft spring wontons/ravioli's , it was decent to say the least but lacks the wow and burst of flavor, if they are aiming for something like the Vietnamese Gỏi cuốn, it definitely failed to impress, it was decent but not something I'd order again. For the main dish, I ordered some sort of Chicken Curry, again, the dish was decent with very subtle flavors but definitely not enough to make it memorable and crave for another round. Overall, to be honest, I wasn't particularly impressed with the dishes I had, it lacked the pow and wow - the burst of flavors and spices that typically most Asian cuisines present, a palate waker-upper the moment it touches your tongue, I wouldn't be too harsh on this place though as they do have such great people and there are other items in the menu that I have not tried, unfortunately for the time being, I'd rate them based on the food I had - it was so-so but hopefully they have other items in their menu which could be such a pleasant surprise. Cheers!

We stumbled upon this place since it's literally next to where we were staying. It was a chilly night so meals like this would be perfect. Place is a little small like every place in Paris, big enough for seating for around 20 people. We arrived not too long after they open so we were able to get the table to ourselves. My oldest son and I both ordered the pho noodle, my wife got BoBun, my other two younger one ordered beef over rice, kids size (5 euros, great value). The beef for the pho was very tender because they literally put row meat on top of the soup. The beef melted in my mouth. Both my son and I finished the bowl of soup without issue. My wife's bobun was amazing as well. Beef was tender and the egg roll added a crunch to her bite. My younger two kids devoured the beef over rice and asked more. Overall, perfect meal for what we were looking for on a chilly night. Would def come back. Btw, if you like spicy, I would add the chopped pepper with vinegar table side. It will blow your socks off.

I had been traveling in Paris for a…read morenumber of days and have been to a handful of Chinese restaurants and unfortunately, they have been sub-par at best. It was different here, you are like a kid in a candy store. You got your Chinese food, your Thai food, your Cambodian food, your Vietnamese food. You can pretty much get anything. Of the things we ordered the highlights were the Cambodian stew, the jicama rice wraps, and the thai curry. We also had the beef skewers, the chinese noodles, and the loc lac rice and although they were all good, they were not as good of the highlights. The Cambodian stew is something that I get to have once in a while and I have yet know what exactly is considered authentic but I felt that this one had the smokey flavor that I am accustomed to. In addition, it was packed with meat, veggies, and potatoes so you feel like you are really getting a deal for this dish. I suggest eating it with a bowl of rice to soak up the soup. It brought back memories of when my parents would ask me to try this dish and me not liking it before but growing to thoroughly enjoy the dish and hoping for more. Next were the jicama rice wraps. It is jicama, dried shrimp, cilantro, green onion, pork, and other ingredients all mixed together and wrapped inside a rice sheet. Similar to a churng fun at dim sum but this comes like a bun but wrapped with a rice sheet instead of bread. Similar to the Cambodian stew, this was packed with filling and you can dip it in fish sauce to add more flavor. I think they cooked it well because the filling felt like a quick stir fry so that there is some oil and wok hei flavor. Finally, the curry. I was already full at this point but I still couldn't resist and this once was unique. Not similar to other curries I have had in the States so I can't compare it to anything I've had. It had a similar texture of the Cambodian stew and didn't have the coconut milk that I have come accustomed to for Thai curries. The bowl was filled to the brim with meat and other ingredients. I think Sun Ly is the leader in Chinese food, at least for the Chinese restaurants in that particular plaza. I tried two other restaurants that are literally adjacent to Sun Ly and they could not compete. I think Sun Ly had the quality of food that is unmatched in terms of Asian restaurants in Paris. If I am craving Asian food during a future trip to Paris and I am in District 13, I will definitely try to make to back to Sun Ly over the others. The prices are comparable but the quality and variety of food is unmatched.
