Saw this place recommended as one of the best pho places in Paris and decided to check it out. We came around noon on a Sunday and the place was pretty empty, so we were sat and served right away. We ordered two pho dishes and they gave us our food very quickly after. The broth tastes a bit different from the pho we are used to eating in northern california, but tasted good nonetheless. The meat was sliced thinly but there is a decent amount and the portions are good for the price. The bathrooms are very clean.

Great Vietnamese food. Excellent restaurant. Friendly staff. The Pho was great. Definitely recommend.

This place was good for me. Pho is always a comfort food for me. So when I'm in Europe and missing some comfort food, this is a good choice. The price is reasonable. The portion is big. Taste is good as well. Quick service. Wurope has weird afternoon break times and luckily this place was open when we were starving. Place is clean and not too small.

I ordered that spicy beef noodle soup. The best. Highly recommended! Very cozy and friendly place.

We've been to the original Pho Banh Cuon 14, so happy to find another location closer to the main areas. Pho is great, comes out quick, abundance of veggie toppings and sauces. The broth is fragrant and hot while the noodles are cooked correctly. Only caveat - foreigner credit cards are not accepted. Had to go find an ATM after we finished. Definitely stop by if you're craving some good pho while in the city!

CASH ONLY. OR CREDIT CARD FROM FRANCE. No foreign credit cards accepted. Per recommendation, we came to Pho 14 in Paris for a test of Vietnamese cuisine in Paris. We were pleasantly pleased by the quality of the food and flavor. For two people, we ordered one Banh Cuon and the #1. The banh cuon was delicious as the sauce paired nicely with the dish. The pho was very flavorful. It was also my first time seeing birds-eye chili instead of jalapeños as the topping, and it definitely packed a punch. However, there wasn't much meat toppings for the pho, leaving the noodle to meat ratio unbalanced. The meat cuts were VERY thinnly sliced. Servers are attentive. Flavors were solid. Would definitely come back again, this time prepared with the proper payment.

Ordered the pho dac biet and it came out piping hot! Soup was sweeter than what I was used to and they use a wider rice noodle, but the meats were tender. It was an enjoyable bowl of pho with bean sprouts and pickled onions on the side! *Rating is more of a 3.5*

This place was recommended to us by a friend. It was good. Not knocking my socks off good but good. Would I go back there? Mh, maybe I'd check out one of the many other Viet-style restaurants in the area first.

One of my husband's requests when we were traveling to Paris was to try pho since there's a large Vietnamese population in France to see if there was any difference to it. The portions were large (even for our American appetites) and the broth was rich and flavorful. They used thick fresh noodles instead of thin dry noodles which my husband loved. The service was friendly and prompt during our meal. The restaurant is located a close walking distance from the Louvre. They do accept credit card and debit, but only from European banks. Otherwise, you'll have to pay in cash.

It was a challenge finding this place as Google maps was telling us to go different directions every block we walked. When we arrived there was a big line out the door, they come out and ask "how many people in your party?" Then go back in. The lucky people with 2 people in their party got to go in every time a table opened up. Since there were 3 of us we had to wait a long time since they seated parties of 4 before us. Vietnamese Pho made French style was rather delicious, the meat was tender and perfect. The broth was also good and not greasy. The noodles were cooked just right. Service was horrible and it was a pain flagging them down. Then when it came time to pay there is a small sign that says "Cash Only". So was on a trek to find an ATM. They should put a sign on the door to prepare the guests for that. Decent food, horrible service, unorganized seating and waiting. Not sure we would return.

The food was very good with fresh ingredients and the staff courteous and helpful! I would like to recommend Pho 14 Opera to the foodie visitors to Paris!

Was the pho good? Absolutely. Was the location convenient, I guess so. Then why 1 star? There were lot of empty seats but they wanted to make sure the large tables are used by large groups so slotted me and my pregnant wife in the middle of two couples. Our jackets and bags alone meant we literally cannot fit in! The fact that they don't let me use my bank card also pisses me off. As I told them it's not a "credit" card but just a cash/charge card so it is effectively cash spend. It annoys me that they kept saying it's a foreign card so I'm not allowed to use it. Don't be stupid - as long as it's chip and pin it's safe and the bank won't take the money back - because it's a bloody CASH card (debit card)! Separately - it was hot in side. The heater was on full blast so everyone were sweating like a bit. It was just properly hot! So food aside, the experience annoyed me enough to take all the stars off.

In A Nutshell: -Pho 14 Opera (located in the Opera zone aka Arrondissement 1) in Paris is an okay Vietnamese restaurant. -The restaurant is small, crowded & full of hungry people looking for a taste of Vietnamese food. -Expect a little wait to be seated, once seated you'll be elbow to elbow. -This a small chain of three Vietnamese restaurants in Paris w/ the main Pho 14 (aka Pho Banh Cuon) located in Chinatown/Lil Saigon (Arrondissement 13). -Since I've had their pho in the past, I decided to try their Bun Cha, which comes in a big bowl & was actually very good. -The service is good, they know how to move people in/out of that small space effectively. Overall, after you check out the Louvre museum & feel like you miss some Vietnamese food, you can walk a short distance to Pho 14 Opera.

Offering Vietnamese, Chinese, and Thai cuisine, Chez Cay unfortunately fell short of delivering authentic Vietnamese flavors. I ordered the Beef Pho, and found the broth lacking in depth and richness, while the noodles resembled more of pad thai than traditional pho noodles. Instead of fresh thinly sliced flank pieces, you'll find bits of brisket, meatballs, and maybe what resembles thinly sliced flank?? Attempting to salvage the dish, I reached for sriracha and hoisin sauce, only to discover they weren't available.

The menu is quite large and there is a menu in English. To start we ordered chicken dumplings that were good. I ordered Pho and my husband the noodles with chicken. The soup broth was tasty after adding all the herbs and sauces. My issue was with the beef slices. Some were tough with gristle that made it impossible to chew, others had an "off taste" and others were perfectly fine. The noodles were perfect! My husband enjoyed his dish but had a hard time locating many bits of chicken. I would not return as there are many other Vietnamese offerings in the area.

Yesterday at a nice bistro I got a salad to lighten things up, and it had so much creamy dressing, I was right back where I started. Needing a change, I headed for Foyer Mon Vietnam, up a small street close to a pretty happening area of the latin quarter. The place is cozy and welcoming, clean, with plants, warm lighting, and reasonably sized and spaced tables (indoor dining only). The service was super friendly and fast. But best of all the food was so FRESH and DELICIOUS. I walked out with a spring in my step. Tomorrow I will eat a kilo of cheese again, but for now I am light and free! We had crab & shrimp rolls (fried so crispy but not oily at all, with tasty sauce that was tangy, light, and perfect without being goopy/thick, with accompanying lettuce and mint leaves, ordered a 2nd round it was so good), papaya salad (crisp fresh vegetables, fresh shrimp, great light dressing, no overwhelming garlic), lemongrass chicken (good quality white meat chicken, nice variety of colorful vegetables in various shapes that aren't just boring chunks, and just the right amount of spiciness), and white rice to balance it out. Summary is this was fresh, light, high quality ingredients, friendly service, and a welcome break from the otherwise heavy cuisine common in the city. I will be back!

After some searching, I found this place that seemed promising. I ordered the pho, but it was a major letdown. I didn't have high expectations, but it still managed to disappoint. The veggie portion was minimal, the overall portion was small, and the pho had just a hint of its usual aroma. I've had everything from authentic pho to halfway decent versions, but this was bare-bones pho. On the plus side, they didn't dilute the broth, so it wasn't completely watered down. I'd give it 3 stars, but I won't be coming back.
