    Bacon lobster burger
    Emily H.

Sweet owner, fast friendly service and good food! The bisque was flavorful with a tasty combo of seasonings - there isn't any lobster chunks though which was slightly disappointing. The lobster burger is what this place is known for - the bacon was chewy and delicious and lobster was cooked perfectly. It's made w 3 slices of bread - which I could have passed on. Amazing meal but also kinda pricey so I'm going to go with a 3 stars rating. Worth trying if you've got some money to throw at it.

    Lobster and bacon sandwich. Yum.

As others have mentioned: Lobster and bacon sandwich!! Très délicieux. My husband and I made it a habit to get one as an après-dive snack. They were just that good. They are quite filling, so getting the half sandwich and lobster bisque special may better suit you, if you're not that hungry.

A fellow diver recommended the Lobster and Bacon sandwich here. We were walking around and surprisingly stumbled across this place. They had outdoor seating, which was nice. The waitress was friendly, we came around lunch and there were only a few people eating. I ordered the infamous sandwich, husband order the roast beef. Our sandwiches came promptly and smelled really good. I expected kind of like a New England lobster sandwich with mayo and chunks of lobster. This was not it. It was chunks of lobster sauteed with pesto, sandwich between wheat toast with some cheese. It was a tasty sandwich, but kind of heavy. I couldn't finish it all myself. It also could've used some acid to cut down all the grease. It also could have been a few dollars less. It was basically equivalent to a $20 sandwich. But nonetheless, it was a tasty little lobster sandwich. I love seeing lobster on the menu everywhere in Cozumel!

03-06-16. Lunch. Caprese. Awesome! Great mozz. cheese. Ask for more balsamic. It was sparse.  Aguijon de Abeja Malbec 2014 Argentina. Nice! Smooth. Easy to drink by itself. Tuna steak sesame seeded (yum!) with coconut and peanut sauce (didn't need or especially like). I got extra veggies and no rice. Wonderful presentation with veggies arranged artfully. Kirk got the recommended lobster and bacon sandwich on rye bread. I had 2 bites. It was amazing!

Amazing meal from start to finish. We went for lunch and were treated like royalty! We started with the sea scallops aguachile, which were absolutely amazing. My husband had the fish burger which came with French fries. He claimed the fries were some of the best he has ever had and the fish burger was phenomenal. I ordered paella. It was full of meat and seafood and perfectly cooked and seasoned rice. We finished the meal with almond cake, the perfect ending to an incredible experience.

Amazingly fresh juices, made to order pizza, and tomato, mozzarella with basil and aged vinegar options. Sweet setting in the courtyard well worth the visit and definitely a locals top choice.

Caprese. I already ate some. Balsamic vinegar, mmmmm!

The lobster bacon sandwich was also recommended to me but I don't eat bread. So instead I got the caprese--- fantastic!!! Then I got the mahi mahi with lobster mushroom sauce and steamed vegetables. They also bring out some crostini with olive oil garlic and diced tomatoes on top. I scraped off the tomatoes and ate those. Then I got about 5 glasses of pineapple juice. I ate outside at the cafe tables. Le chef is across from a bodybuilding gym so you can eat and watch the show of locals pumping iron. Also Le chef has good wi-Fi. The server will give u the password. I will eat there again!!

Amazing 5 star meal!!! Best seafood on the island. The staff attends to your every need. Must visit when in Cozumel.

Beautiful art work, chefs has come a long way!! :-)

Le chefs is our absolutely most certainly favorite spot on the island! The service is impeccable. The entire menu is fresh and full of hers and flavor. The tuna tartar is my number one item!!! I recommend this quaint restaurant to every taste bud. Our favorite spot is on the side walk patio where we watch gym rats across the street, stuff our faces with goodness of flavor!!!!!

Get the LOBSTER BACON sandwich! It is out of this world. It is only second to the diving in Cozumel! It's reason to come here.

Our server did the whole "sell you the bottle" trick but backed down when I chuckled at him about the cost of the crap bottles they were selling. After that, it was smooth sailing and a nice time. He did a great job Inside it seems to be "Frenchy", but it does seem like it's a bit of a stretch. There are paintings depicting French scenes, but frankly you could put pics of French fries up and I would not care. The lighting was cool. The apps were great and I loved them all! Very tasty bites indeed. The soufflé looked burnt but was very good when you got into it. Escargot were tasty as well and the French onion soup was amazing! Real butter for the bread and I am in love. Entrees were just ok. C ate very little of hers, but I liked hers way more than mine. I had the Duck and it wasn't the best, but it's a gamble with Duck sometimes I guess. We were so full we did not even look at dessert when the time came. Overall, nice meal and a good time! I'd come back just to eat the appetizers again. '26 - 58

Keep in mind there is a dress code (so don't come in wearing swim trunks and sandals). The food here is very elegant. The plating is memorable and the food tastes great. The drinks are also very tasty. The dessert was phenomenal too. That creme brulee? YUMMMMYYY! It's a wonderful spot for date night. We arrived late afternoon and we were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated. A nice solid menu of Italian/Mediterranean treats plus monthly specials posted on the exterior board. Full bar service, and plenty of Spanish wines offered. Prices are very reasonable and repeat that the service is excellent. In business approaching 30 years, this was our first visit and found it through a shout out on Yelp! The business is an American owned venture but very much offerings and atmosphere of a casual Mexican dinner. Some really interesting photographs throughout the restaurant that offer some insights into the island's history, the owners friends, and even her cats! We started with some wonderful empanadas and an octopus dish that was probably one of the best cooked I've had in memory. Great seafood options and daily fish specials. Like most of Central Cozumel, street parking can be a little tricky but not a showstopper. You may be interested in looking for a yard that offers car parking to get off the streets.
