The supervisor stated that they do not return small items (i.e. small purchases) We asked her where is that written because the note at the register states they allow returns within 30 days Then supervisor said that she would return but keep 25% for restocking fee I told her, now you've given two different stories in less than 5 minutes... which one is true. I offered to place the items back on the shelf (would have taken less than on minute) but she said .. .that's not what restocking fee means and then referred to large purchases (my return would have been approx. $100) I advised the supervisor that I'm not giving her $25 for nothing and left store asking her 'Is your business that desperate for money?' So at what point does anyone care about A. Being honest B. Not blatantly making up rules C. Customer service D. Overall wanting repeat business. We had a kitchen all to ourselves and the teacher's undivided attention at 5pm on a weeknight. . We started off by whisking an egg into a cup of flour. After much kneading, we each had our homemade pasta dough balls which we let rest. Then, we got started on the pasta sauce. We made both a white and red sauce. In between, we had sips of the rose we brought because they're BYOB! Once we got the sauce going, we rolled out our pasta and cut them into strips of fettuccine using a couple of pasta makers. Finally, we chopped up some fresh garlic for garlic bread. I've forgotten her name, but the teacher was very friendly and knowledgeable. She even taught us a cool trick to turn parmesan rinds into delicate crisps. We wrapped up the session by digging into our pasta dishes and snapping some photos to capture the moment! Secondly, I was so impressed with how organized it was and how there was an age-appropriate job for each of the kids who attended. After visiting other grill dealers in the area and getting a good idea of what I wanted, I came across Barbeques Galore on the internet while searching for info. I had completely forgotten they existed. I have been in other locations a few times and left unimpressed. When I walked in the front door here, I heard two men talking at the front counter. I proceeded to walk that way while looking at the grill display. One of the men (Victor) ask me if he could help me find anything and I said yes, I think you can. I continued looking and rounded the corner away from the front counter and about that time heard, well ok then. I was shocked. He apparently thought I the customer was supposed to walk over and engage him! Needless to say, it didn't go well after that. He did not offer to introduce himself( I knew by his name tag he was Victor) or extend his hand to shake. Wow! After being in sales, service, and management for over 40 years I'm amazed at this type of behavior by people working to sell a product. Obviously, I was taken for granted. I moved on down the street where I had the opposite experience at Firehouse. I was greeted with a friendly smile by Dave and guess what? I bought a very expensive grill from him in about 5 minutes. I never got a solid plan, they hard-sold me high, promising we would reduce it, just to make me sign the contract. (my first mistake) Of course, those meetings to discuss my priorities and reduce the budget, never came. My dream wasn't realized as they either vetoed, forgot or bumbled each feature of my design. Examples: I have a wavy wall, it took them days to correct the paint throughout the house, they flat refused to match my craftsman trim, they forgot my vented kitchen hood, vetoed my transom (they don't even know what that is), failed plumbing inspection three times and nearly blew up my house. (I'm not embellishing) Had to install the cabinets twice (ordered incorrectly and hung at the wrong height), the rough plumbing is so poorly done that the knobs don't sit right and turn lop-sided; failed to contain the renovation dust which covered even stuff inside cabinets and drawers throughout the house. The cleaning crew came multiple times and I still had to hire my own at a cost of $360, to get all the ceiling fans, fixtures, floors, etc. finally clear of dust and paint splatters. They scratched my hardwoods and damaged my stove. To top it off, they stopped paying the subs and one of them put a lien on my house, EVEN though, i was up to date on my payment arrangement. (Yes, that's totally legal, for some reason!) The drama continues as I need help correcting some issues that i don't feel I should have to live with. We hired a general contractor who decided that 40% through the first bathroom they would just walk off the job because we made them fix their mistakes (go figure). In an emergency we came to Robert Hinton at Granite & Tile Outlet II. Robert came in and evaluated the situation. We were able to find a subcontractor to help finish the cabinets and Robert helped with the countertop in the guest bath. We were eventually able to finish the guest bath and Robert and crew did a lot of the work in the Master bath. Robert's crews demoed our bathroom, transformed the old tub/shower into a walk-in shower, did all the new floor tiles and the vanity countertops. Even the shower doors turned out great. We worked great with other subcontractors we found for paint, electrical, and cabinets. We could not have done it without him. Not to mention, but he did all the work within our budget too! They referred us to the manufacturer, I called the manufacturer who sent out an independent inspector. He said the reason the floor is buckling is because the contractors did not leave room for expansion, so the flooring is buckling. The invoice says 1 yr labor warranty, because of this they will not fix our floor. The only reason our floors are buckling is because of the way it was installed. Go find a different company to do any remodeling of your home. This place is no help once they get their money. Included in the pictures from the inspector, is his report.

Had two scheduled appointments that I got stood up for for numerous excuses by the owner Jaron. One excuse was the schedule got sent to the wrong calendar and the second excuse was he had the wrong time zone. It seems to me this business does not quite have their priorities in order. When I explained to them that I'm going to leave a bad review they send me a threatening email!
