CLUTTER BUG A few…read moreyears back, I really liked shopping in this store. Now, I just think that it needs a makeover. It is dated and cluttered. Their stock is not really displayed in a meaningful way and today I found myself just walking in and walking out because I did not want to "deal" with the mess. This store has become the unrefined country cousin for the other stores that sell and display elegant to everyday kitchen wares in the same center. They really need to update the store so as to create more interest and eventually more traffic. The one thing that they shouldn't change, is their customer service. Customer service here is great and the ladies are always friendly and helpful. They deserve to have a store that makes them proud.

I have bought a couple of knives over the past few months from this location and they have NOT preformed well. I am a daily carrier that uses my knife for basically anything that is required in that moment (I am in the new construction residential industry), however, when I went in an hour ago, I explained HOW I was using these knives, as another one was not preforming. Tim Rowland overheard, stepped up, and showed me a gambit of wonderful knives, catered to my use and needs after listening. I understand that this gentleman is not a salesperson, but one who typically makes the knives in the back, but he took the time to show me around and demoed 8-10 different knifes to make sure I was making the right decision. While before I was price conscious (around $50-$60 budget), today he showed me what I needed to make sure my needs were met. I walked out spending $350 on a blade that I did not intend on buying. But I feel now I have the knife that I need. I will forever buy all of my blades from this shoppe.

Subsequently with seeing even more install issues that are solely on Granite & Marble Solutions, they are completely unresponsive and keep kicking the can down the road. Very bad customer service. Pretty clear that they just hope I will go away. It's been very disappointing to have spent the money we did and have all the install issues which permanently impact the quality and look of the stone. I overlooked those little issues and still gave her company a chance. Big mistake! The two ladies who came to clean my home didn't wipe the countertops or the cabinet knobs/handles. My guest loaded and ran the dishwasher, and all those pots, pans, dishes, and silverware were left in there. The cleaners put used quilts back on the beds despite me providing a second clean set for both bedrooms. They didn't clean the refrigerator shelves, but walked out with the brand new full-sized bottles of ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise that I provide for my guests. (I provided a cleaning/stocking checklist that specifically stated to ensure those items were stocked in the refrigerator in addition to the need to clean all bedding between guests.) They even rehung a towel that looked clean but actually had lotion on it. When I sent photos to Martha, she thought she was texting someone else and wrote "she's complaining about two spots and a wrinkle." Then she told me to find another cleaning company. That's how much she cares. They never returned my linens despite her saying they would drop them off, and then they had the nerve to send me an invoice. I learned the hard way how unprofessional and unreliable this company is. I hope you can learn from my experience and avoid all of this.
