Here you'll find the typical kitschy-kitchen gear perfect for the avid home cook or stocking stuffers for the holidays. It's well thought out and reflects the bubbly and sweet personality of the lady who owns the store. She is exceptionally friendly and welcoming and REALLY eager to help you find what you NEVER thought you'd even need. The conversation only got more interesting when she found out about my culinary background. What really hooked me is the selection of olive oils, teas, and roasted coffee here. This was *the* aspect that distanced them from just being another culinary shop. You have a reason to come back not just for more toys BUT to actually fill up on unique oil blends and NOLA inspired local flavor roasted coffee. The scent in the air from these roasts was heavenly and sweet! While it's obviously not cheap, you'll find much value in all the items that they have thoughtfully sourced. I definitely recommend a visit especially to those who consider themselves culinary enthusiasts. I'll be back. I'll definitely be back.

Make sure to pay attention and don't hand over your card immediately. The staff tried to charge us $20 but we were like... "Ummm no." The cashier said she made a mistake when calculating it by hand, but I don't know if I believe that. We also weren't given a receipt which is okay because we decided to pay with cash. Just pay attention when paying for your order and ask for a receipt if you're paying by card.

I called yet again a week or so later and another lady said she would call right back, instead I get an email the next day stating that I would have to ship the whole pot and lid back at my cost as well as I would have to pay cost to have a new one sent to me. I will never purchase from these people agin. I feel that I should NOT be penalized for their mistakes and poor quality control. They should check the product before it goes out to the customer.

Today was my lucky day in that she had one temporary pass left. With the temporary pass, there could be no returns, and I had to return the pass to the checkout clerk after my purchase. It's a great place to buy bulk food and food supplies. They have great cookware and cooking utensils also. Yes, they cater more to restaurants, but you can find things that may be hard to find at your average retail store.

I had been searching for kitchen & bath showrooms (see previous review for another similar, not-so-similar kitchen & bath place, BC's) and I had lost all hope for the days of my youth when my parents would drag us to these places and we'd go running around jumping in bathtubs. Seems like I was going to have to just pick one out from a catalogue without seeing anything in real life. Sidenote: I don't jest when I say that a bathroom is possibly the most important room in the house. I've been obsessed since I could walk. I currently have a bathroom straight out of my nightmares (seriously, these night terrors have to stop). And now I'm in the process of putting together my first one and it's a *daunting* process. The Plumbing Warehouse makes this daunting process just a bit easier. They have red faucets! They have an array of tubs! They can help you put together the bathroom of your dreams! The showroom is in a bit of an upheaval and the sales lady, Emily apologized for this (though seriously, it wasn't that bad). She then proceeded to help us in a way that I most appreciate in a sales person. That is, she asked questions, was helpful, and was not overbearing. And she seemed to know just what I wanted (um, am I that obvious?) Keep in mind that if you want custom stuff, you can get it (tons of catalogues) but they do have some basics with a day or two turnaround. Naturally, whatever I'm interested in will take two weeks, but hey, when you have a historical house with all the permit nonsense you have to deal with, I think I'm looking at not getting this bathroom started for about two months. But that's besides the point. I'll be using this place for my tub (seriously, they have it all: acrylic, cast iron, copper and hundreds of choices they'll show you in a catalogue, including my Elvis tub) and sink (here's looking at you, violet resin vessel!)
