Lisa Worked with me, was kind and patient she even spent time making sure I was getting the best possible pots for my needs. She even helped me arrange shipping that would best accommodate me being home when they arrived. My pots arrived yesterday and as you can see (on my Makeshift rack for now), they are stunning! It was like Christmas! I make a lot of soups and stews and am really glad I got the 7 quart. I thought it would be too big and heavy and it's not at all. Decided to stop in to check out some kitchen supplies on New Years Eve and wound up having a pretty bad interaction with Lisa. At first all seemed fine as she came over and explained about the sale they had going on for most items. We browsed for a bit and found some glassware we liked. Where it got weird was when my fiancee found a wall full of differently colored mugs near the entrance and was going to purchase one. Lisa came back over while we were waiting in line and asked to see the mug. She seemed exasperated. She took it out of my partners hand and said "you cant buy this" as though it were some sort of hiddem camera show... she then went back over to the full wall of individual mugs and picked through several of them before rolling her eyes so hard they couldve hit the back of her head. Clearly she was inconvenienced. She proceeded to walk towards the back of the store to confirm with whom I assume was the manager if the mugs are all part of a set. She then proceeded to ask if anybody else had helped us which seemingly implied we did something wrong beyond taking an individually marked mug off the shelf and attempting to buy it. Sadly they did not want our money or to sell us the mug. She then stated they were part of a set despite them being available in singles online, and having an individual barcode on it and a price tag. There were also no sets of 4 to be found. Her tone was incredibly rude. We wound up purchasing our other item and she did not want to give us a bag as it was only one item and the bag would be too large (according to her). Zero issues with the pricing, store was clean, and and has an easy layout. Love Le Creuset products but was not at all shocked to see someone else mention Lisa in a review 6 months ago. Really left a bad taste in our mouths to the point that we will not be returning to this store or purchasing another Le Creuset item again. If the rep had not been so rude or made us feel so unwelcome this review would not have been posted. read more

The store was very nice. It had great prices and a solid selection, however, my sister was PROFILED by an associate named Lisa which very negatively impacted our experience. If you're not a middle aged white woman, you will not be treated with respect by Lisa. My sister has an extensive collection she was looking to add to, but left with nothing due to being followed around and constantly questioned. Do better. read more

I'm glad I don't live terribly far from this Le Creuset outlet because when I'm there it's almost like being in the adult version of a kid's candy store ....it's at least that colorful. This is classic French enamal over cast-iron cookware that first came on the scene in 1925 and remains a favorite of cooks everywhere. Consider me one of Le Creuset's biggest fans. I now have all of my mother's Le Crueset cookware that she got as a shower gift many years ago . Then I married someone who came complete with his own assortment of Le Creuset pots, pans, casseroles and braisers. So you would think I would be all set in the cookware department. But if you like to cook, as I do, are you ever really "all set" with kitchen stuff? The answer would be no. There are always Le Creuset pieces that I suddenly decide I can't live without a moment longer. It's a little bit addictive in that way for me. It's even worse now that there are so many compelling colors. Back in the day they only came in flame orange. Now there is a wide variety of colors. In stores like Williams-Sonoma or Crate and Barrel, Le Creuset comes with hefty prices. You could get sticker shock. Since the pieces last forever, are beautifully made and come from France, I do get it. There's a reason the ones I got from my mother are still in pristine condition. They are virtually indestructable with normal use. But despite understanding the rationale behind the suggested retail price tag, that doesn't mean you have to pay it. Who doesn't like a bargain? So off you can go to this outlet where they sell factory seconds. The fact that these are seconds shouldn't bother you in the least. Generally the blemishes are barely noticeable to begin with. There might be something slightly flawed with the firing of the enamel creating what are usually very tiny imperfections. The store has lots of merchandise, so you usually have a fair number of each of the same kind of pot or pan to examine. The staff is also very nice and will always help look with you if you'd like. I was back here not long ago looking to buy one of the super-duper large Dutch ovens. When I use it, I feel like I'm cooking for a crowd, and often I am. The size is perfect for making extra large batches of delightful wintery stews and soups so that there is enough for freezing for a later date. When I look at the pot now, I don't remember what the flaw was and truthfully, now I can't even find it. I purchased this particular pot for considerably less than half off the original price. There are great deals on everything here. You can also sign up to get store mailings and will get notified when they are having sales which provide additional percentages off the already steeply marked down merchandise. If you're new to Le Creuset, I doubt you'll find more useful cookware that will stand the test of time in both function and beauty. They are hard to damage even if you're not the best cook...yet! I've HEARD that all the cool chefs use Le Creuset, famous for its cast iron and stoneware. I have a complex about having to be cool. I also have a complex about having to be cheap. In regards to complex #1: the adorable tiny pots of whimsical shapes, such as apple and squash and tomato, and bright uplifting colors, such as lime green, electric blue and classic red, are enough to make your cookie crumble. The cast iron cookware looks orgasmic, but I was put off by the label "second quality," what IS that?? Seems NOT cool. In regards to complex #2: the price tag?? goodness. 1 dutch oven will put you out for the same price as a good massage. Skillets are up around the massage, facial, and happy ending mark. The cute little crocks, usable for god knows what kind of esoteric cookery, run around the same as a visit to a primary care doctor - happy ending not guaranteed. Ok, but in order to satisfy both complexes, I bought 4 7.25 ounce ramekins. Price of a drive by bikini wax. Now I too have something from Le Creuset. I'll go back for my happy ending when my kitchen gets more sophisticated and my wallet gets more... well... fat. read more

I've been coveting a French oven for a long, long time now. Not just any French (Dutch, really, they're just being snobs about this) oven, but a Le Creuset. The price of these babies, however, have always put me off - $300 for a pot! I saw some Le Creuset "seconds" in random colors at about half that price in discount stores like TJ Maxx and Marshalls, so I was curious and googled - people suggested going to the factory store. So after much begging and pleading, the husband finally drove me to the Wrenthem outlets to check out my precious. The nice sales associate at the store explained that their "second qualities" are because the lid colors are painted a bit too dark.. Le Creuset has high standards even for their seconds, and they are still covered by the lifetime warranty. She helped me pick out the perfect, blemish-free 7.25 qt flame oven. Here's the breakdown: MSRP of $400, typically online for sale at ~$300, listed for sale for $245 at the store as a "second", with a 35% off holiday sale (they seem to have sales often) = ~$160 pre tax. Still expensive for a pot, but it's a beautiful, beautiful piece. I'm already saving money for my next one! read more

My boyfriend is OBSESSED with French cookware. We often stop in here when at Wrentham and window shop for our next big purchase. This stuff doesn't come cheap so we normally wait for the big holiday sales and we obtain our new favorite. However whether just looking or not the staff there is always a delight! They always ask if we need help, but not pushy we both don't like pushy it makes us uncomfortable. They share stories some show us pictures of there collections, how they display them at home. They take a lot of pride in the product and it's very nice to see. Can't wait for the holiday sale! Nothing cooks like these beauties. Thanks to this outlet store, my dream of owning the shiny red 7.5 quart Le Creuset dutch oven was finally realized this weekend due to a memorial day sale that only took $150 out of my pocket. I've been stalking this dutch oven for years but amazon, william sonoma, BBB, and all of the other stores slapped a $280 price tag on it... always setting me back. I mean $280 for something I actually could live without? I just couldn't do it. I knew my day would come. One hundred and fifty dollars. That's almost 50% off for the exact same dutch oven found everywhere else. The store itself is full of eye candy and we spent almost an hour talking to the employees about all of the products. They were more than helpful and explained all we needed to know about cooking and cleaning our new babies. My mom was with me and she bought a 6 quart risotto pan (marked down from $275 to $150 due to discontinuation of the black color) and then she ended up buying me a ton of extra goodies to match the dutch oven (cherry red utensil holders, a trivet, wooden spoons and spatulas, and a spoon rest... thanks mom!!). The staff went the extra mile between cheerfully taking an exchange, helping me spend the amount on the resulting store credit, even packaging things and including an information sheet on the cookware. I had been researching and planning for a while to buy a LC french (dutch) oven. But when I got to the outlet store, I realized I wasn't sure what size I really needed - and was intrigued by the braisers, too. Nina was incredibly patient and knowledgeable - and she was quick to punch up numbers on her calculator to vet pricing (there are both firsts and seconds in the store, and I was there during a 40% sale, and armed with a coupon that couldn't be combined with the sale offer, so the various permutations were confusing). I saved considerably off of list (it helps if you're not choosy about colors). read more
