I have never -- and I mean never -- gone to an Italian restaurant and ordered beer out of necessity. Yet here we are. It just didn't feel right. Now, credit where it's due: the garlic bread was actually really good (though I'm pretty sure it didn't grow up in that kitchen), and the limoncello cake -- confirmed not house-made -- was honestly the star of the meal. Service was great, atmosphere was pleasant, and I didn't have a bad time... The meat is flavorful with a great bark, plus they have three signature sauces to kick them up if needed. They have various standard sides like baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, and more. Also included is a mini muffin of cornbread, and I always get the jalapeno cheese option. The inside of this place is decorated with a lot of old signage and has a very country feel that perfectly fits the laid back atmosphere and food.
