The specialty of the chef (as per the waitress) is veal parmagiana, which is something that doesn't even exist in italy. That should have been a sign to get out of there... But we stayed. For food, we had the fried calamari , which came with a red sauce. Then my girlfriend had pasta a la vongole and I had pasta scalenta (not 100% sure of the name). The calamari by itself was good but the sauce was disgusting. Think tomato sauce with Tabasco. It was not good. The pasta a la vongole was not good either. The sauce (which was a roses sauce). Did not taste good. My pasta was good but it was soon hard to digest I regretted taking it. In addition to the food being not good the service was really bad. It was slow and bad. To get our entree, it took over 30 minutes. Then add that we were not even asked if we wanted coffee or desert. They brought us the bill after picking up the plates of our maindish. And let's not forget one of the waitress that kept kicking my girlfriends chair all night long when there was a lot of place to pass next to it. All in all a pretty bad experience.
