Went today for brunch and it was a really cozy spot. Ordered their escargot and it was on point. Just the perfect amount of garlic. We also all got the Croque Madame and it was made perfectly. Also the Service was excellent.

Reservations at 0630 Met at the door and taken to our table where a small blackboard was set up for the evenings offerings as they change daily.....Well executed menu with choices for many different palettes. After explaining the menu and taking our drink order (beer and wine only) she gave us some time to digest the menu....we finally both settled on the escargot (slow snail caught) served piping hot in individual small ramekins on single plate witn a side of thinly sliced baguette to dip into the amazing garlic butter and parsley sauce....Perfect, just the right amount of butter and garlic.....My wife had the pan seared golden tile fish served with baby vegetables and sweet potato purée.....outstanding fish if you've never eaten it, firm sweet white flaky flesh. I had the duck leg confit with a guy-ere cheese potatoes, baby vegetables and roasted radishes..... Definitely a Winner as this husband and wife team bring a little bit of Paris to the treasure Coast

We had a very good meal here -- and would recommend it highly. We came for dinner on Thanksgiving. They had a special menu plus their regular menu. Although we saw several folks raving about their turkey, we decided to order off their regular menu. They also had a few other specials for that day, as well. We'd made reservations. And this is highly suggested. The restaurant is small. You'll find it attached to the Chase Bank building fronting the street. It is cozy inside but not cramped. The front of the house is taken care of by Aura Lee who will seat and serve you. She also makes the desserts for the restaurant. Meanwhile, her husband, Antoine, is the chef in the kitchen responsible for all the culinary delights. My husband started off with their goat cheese salad. The cheese was creamy atop the mixed greens with onions, walnuts, and a light dressing. He really liked it. For his entrée, he ordered the fois gras appetizer. It was a very decadent (and yummy) duck pate served with french bread, dried candied orange peel (I'm guessing), pickled onions, and apples . He loved it!. I went right to the mains with an order of their classic beef bourguignon. It was served in a cute dish -- half full of mashed potatoes and the other a mix of the beef pieces in its rich sauce with carrots. Al dente green beans came on the side. For dessert, we shared a clafoutis. The fruit for the night was peaches. The fruit will vary, so if you have a preference, make sure you ask. It's kind of like a cobbler with its batter, but the fruit is mixed into it. It was good, but not all parts of the dish were the same temperature. My husband had a glass of very good french Chablis. They don't have a full bar -- just beer and wine. However, as some of our fellow guests discovered they offer some very tasty drinks made with berries and champagne -- among others. We look forward to returning to try some more of their delicious offerings. This place is a "keeper".

It took sooooo long to get a spritz. So long I forgot I'd ordered it. She was never in sight. Always gone somewhere. Was her area too large or was she hiding in the kitchen? I was so excited to get the shaved ribeye sandwich but it was... a shaved burger patty??? I mean... literally. That IS what it was. NGL it tasted good but the burger on the menu is a "special blend" not a ribeye... and this was 100% a "shaved" burger patty advertised as a "shaved ribeye". Fries were typical bar food. Crispy though! Drinks were okay but not at all worth the price and time. (Was I spoiled by the last restaurant we'd visited in Brevard that had exceptional draft selections and great prices on everything? Maybe.) Beer was warm. The ONLY thing we absolutely loved was the entertainment. Joshua Keels was playing, we'd never heard of him but wow! Went and found him on Spotify it was so good. Covers and originals. It's amazing how live music can save a place like this. It would have been a 1-2* if not for entertainment. I mean... false advertising on the "shaved ribeye" has me reeling. Did not take pics like I normally would have bc... what was that even?

Wow, we missed so many things about Crush! Those bacon-wrapped Medjool dates, the amazing cocktail program... so many things. My burger was new to the menu, and I can't remember the name, but let's just call it "the Butcher Burger," because I know it had a patty that was a mix of chorizo and venison, and maybe Wagyu? It was also topped with an egg and some smoky mayo. Regardless of what it was called, it was TO DIE FOR. My daughter had a huge wedge salad, and it was great. My wife's chive and Gruyère biscuit was awesome, and her strawberry-rhubarb cocktail was delicious. Honestly, we had such a good meal that we almost came back again for dinner just a few hours later on the same day! We didn't, but we will definitely be returning very soon!

Sat at the bar prior to dinner and had two fabulous cocktails. Watching the bartenders assemble the craft cocktails was a show itself. On to dinner. Our waiter recommended the bacon wrapped dates as a customer favorite. They were a combo of sweet, salty, and smokey. Perfect start to dinner. We ordered the coffee crusted filet with cocoa demi-glace, smashed truffle potatoes and grilled broccolini for one dish, and the fresh catch of the day with coconut rice and pineapple salsa. Our server (forgot his name) was awesome as well. The whole experience made my birthday that much better!

I feel like this place has rested on its laurels - for the worse. We've been coming since 2020 or…read more2021. Coming from Dallas, a city with a steakhouse on practically every corner, I can say we definitely know our steaks and steak house experiences. We also travel all over the world looking for the best steak experiences locally. When we first came here, we thought we'd found Melbourne's best. The closest to fine dining steak back home. But over the years, things have just slidden down hill. The once impressive share board has A) not changed in its inclusions during this 5+ year span; and B) gone down in quality considerably. If you look at the pictures of our boards over the years you'll see the Caesar used to be long, elegant romaine leaves with the most delicious lemony-crunchy topping with superior house made dressing. Now it has boring store-looking croutons, no lemon-crunch topping, and the dressing tastes as boring as the salad looks. The potato used to be a large, hassleback prepared encased in a blanket of cheese with another delicious cheese dressing poured on top of that. Now, they just dump a bunch of wet something in the middle of an open lackluster potato. Not only are the items themselves getting more boring, but the board itself being the same for 6 years is boring. Why not change it up? If you can't make an actually good Caesar anymore, why not swap it for a wedge? If you can't be bothered to make a presentable potato - one of the cheapest things for a restaurant to do - why not do some au gratin? Or, why not have 2-3 different boards for people to choose from? Why did they just give up on this concept and themselves? Yes - you can order individual separate sides, but you can do that anywhere. What made this restaurant stand out, and shine like steakhouses in bigger cities, is now dragging them down. We've also really struggled with the hosts over the years. Rude. Inattentive. Not seating in a timely manner despite reservations and an empty restaurant. Being forced into uncomfortably tiny 2-seaters where you feel like you're on a date with the tables next to you. This is the most unromantic thing to do to diners. I would usually never complain about prices at a steakhouse. Again, steakhousing is a hobby of ours and we are fully invested. But... the prices USED to be completely justified given the quality food and experiences. Now... I'd say there are plenty of other restaurants in town with better quality, better service, better vibes - for a better price. I miss the patio vibes. I miss wine by the fire pits. I miss friendly servers and hosts and well-executed offerings. That's such a bummer. If their business couldn't sustain the patio area, maybe they should have thought about why people weren't coming back and made efforts to correct that. Instead of taking away the things they still had going for themselves and flopping on the things they continued offering. What used to be a beautiful location with great service and a thoughtful menu is now a played out shell of its former self. I've shared feedback with the restaurant multiple times over the years, and nothing changes. Like... literally nothing changes unless it's actually getting worse. It's gone downhill, guys. No matter how many videos you post on social of your chefs and how proud you are of your food... I will not be fooled, again.

The fatty portion of my Prime Rib was excessive. I get that ribeye-style cuts derive flavor from fat, but this was to the point where it overwhelmed the dish and left me wishing I had ordered the lower-cost ribeye instead. On top of that, it came out medium instead of medium-rare, which didn't help. That said, others at the table ordered the NY Strip and Ribeye, and both looked excellent--cooked properly and more in line with what I'd expect from a steakhouse at this level. Highlights of the meal: Brazilian sliders were fantastic--definitely a must-order appetizer Oxtail stroganoff was rich and well executed Mac & cheese was a solid side Cocktails were creative and well made Overall, I've had better steaks at lower price points, but also worse ones at higher-end spots. Based on what I saw from other dishes, I'd absolutely give Ember & Oak another shot--just not with the Prime Rib next time.

Nice ambiance and love the location of this place. I also appreciated being greeted by the manager…read moreof the restaurant which always tells me things are well managed. We spent a little over $300 for dinner for 2 adults and 1 child and the food was prepared well and tasted amazing. We ordered the Baked Brie and scallops which was the best 2 bites of the meal. Everything else was excellent just these 2 really stood out. Tomato bisque was incredible along with the lamb. The wife ordered the mahi mahi which was the special of the day and unfortunately was seriously overcooked. I figured this was a special and not something they cook regularly hence not having complete mastering of preparing this fish. Here are my only comments for why I gave a 4 star vs 5 star: 1. The portions are huge and normally this shouldn't be a problem but the chef would do better to cut the portions literally by 50%. By the time the entree came along I was already stuffed since everything was super yummy and I couldn't really stop eating. The sides were absolutely enormous for each dish lol. 2. Service was very good but I wish someone would've came around to clean up the crumbs on the table top. Also, the plates were large due to portions which made it very difficult to fit all the servings on the table. I would recommend using a plate riser to fix this issue or make the portions smaller and use smaller plates. We had a problem with having enough room on the table. 3. Our server was super nice and awesome. It must've been a shift change and I saw her leave and didn't let us know so I wasn't sure how best to tip since I really appreciated her service. I would hope next time to let patrons know this so we can take care of staff accordingly during a shift change. Also on another side note, I love lamb chops and unsure how the chef prepared it but somehow was able to mask the full taste of lamb. This is neither a positive or negative just an observation and personal preference. I tend to enjoy the taste of lamb while others may not. I have to laud the skill of the chef for their skill in doing so since this was a 1st time experience for me for not being able to taste distinct lamb flavor in lamb chops. Altogether a memorable experience and my critique is based on attention to detail which I feel this restaurant would've been perfect if these 3 items fell better into place for us. The quality of food and price for the portions blew us away in a positive way and even though we spent $300 on dinner we thought this was very reasonable given the large portions and quality ingredients and yummy cocktails.
