Field green salad with grilled chicken
    Ralph E.

We stopped in for lunch and, overall, it was fantastic. We have been here several times but never for lunch. I ordered the Swiss cheeseburger and fries from the lunch special, and the portion size was spot on--the bun-to-burger ratio was perfect, and the lettuce, tomato, and onion were all fresh and crisp. The burger itself was very tasty, though it could've used a bit more seasoning and a house sauce (or any sauce) to really take it to the next level. On the upside, the fries were excellent--perfectly cooked and very well seasoned. The meal was filling without being over the top, which I appreciated. My wife ordered the field greens and berries salad and added chicken, and she absolutely loved it. Fresh, well-balanced, and a great lighter option. As always, the atmosphere here was amazing. The place stays busy for good reason, yet the staff remains extremely friendly and welcoming. We were seated immediately, and our server was wonderful--attentive without hovering. A great lunch spot with solid food, a lively vibe, and consistently great service. Just a little extra seasoning or a house sauce would easily push this to five stars.

We were in Melbourne for the weekend and Meg O'Malley's happened to be right behind our hotel, so of course we decided to stop in! We were seated immediately. We started with the 18-cent soup, and wow -- so flavorful and delicious! I wasn't super hungry, so I ordered a side of mac and cheese, and honestly, it might be some of the best I've ever had. Creamy, cheesy, and packed with flavor, what more could you ask for? My husband went with the chicken pot pie, which he absolutely loved. I tried a bite, the top was perfectly crispy and flaky, and the inside was creamy and comforting. It came with a side of cabbage and a roll, both of which were really good, but the pot pie was definitely the star of the meal. Service was great, the atmosphere was fun, and the food was top-notch. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

Excellent dinner, fries and brown gravy, crispy fish and tasty Cole slaw. Excellent wait staff, friendly patrons and easy parking. Thanks for feeding us tonight .

I love this place. I try to use the Melbourne airport anytime I fly into Florida, just so it is convenient for me to make a stop. It looks the part of an Irish Pub, it "tastes" the part of an Irish pub, and the service is just outstanding!

Getting ready for the holiday with new signature cocktails. Meg O Malley's always a good evening! Bar staff is out standing. Clean restrooms and outstanding atmosphere.

Went to Meg's today to watch some football and enjoy brunch. My husband ordered Chicken and Waffles and it came with a caramel maple syrup. He said it was divine especially the syrup. If you like biscuits and gravy you MUST try it here. So good. Maybe the best I have had. I also enjoyed an OJ Mimosa. We really enjoyed brunch and noticed they do have lunch options in the menu as well. Service was good and the ambiance was as great as always. It is a Downtown institution. Highly recommend.

Came for early dinner and was seated right away. As all the other reviews state this place has the total Irish pub vibe and atmosphere. The service is great and our waitress was sweet as can be. The menu is extensive and offers many familiar Irish pub choices and while this seems to be the place to sit down with a dish of Shepards pie and grab a Guinness I felt the food was just ok. Sorry all you other yelpers who gave it 5 stars but I found everything salty and my Irish stew way too thick and starchy. On the positive side our chips appetizer was large & well fried and it did come with nice dipping sauces. If you're looking for an Irish pub with good beer, Irish whiskey and old world charm this is the place but if you are looking to have a great Irish dinner maybe not so much.

On a very rainy day my husband and I went back to this IRISH PUB after several years. Ate bangers and mash with cabbage, and Jamison flight with Irish coffees for dessert. Ian was an exceptional waitstaff allowing us to just take in the Irish atmosphere and pretend I am back in Ireland while enjoying their amazing food. He made excellent recommendations for not only food choices but drink choices. I appreciate the attention to details and regularly checking in with us. The only thing I would change is less gravy on the bangers and mash. I prefer less is more. Outstanding place if you want a traditional IRSH date! So much fun!

We went about a week before Saint Paddy's day. The ambience was really great. The food was really good. Our server was Sophia. She was really good. We had a group of 13. All our food came out timely and it was all hot and very good.

Meg's does cool count down events for St Patrick's day. Buy a regular priced Guinness and you can get your name engraved in the glass.

I just wanted to say they do offer mimosa's here which I do love to order. Orange juice and champagne you can never go wrong. I usually have the lemon drops when I order down town Melbourne but I don't think I've had one here yet. The Cobb salad was my least favorite. But everything else I've tried was good. You will meet some guys who aren't Irish here just a warning. Allot of time wasted and games played. One guy couldn't stop talking about ordering a smoked old fashioned or a don julio smoked old fashion. I told him a Patron and Hennessy girl! I did come here once and a guy did say oh you do have manners or is nice. Something in that manner. I found that strange, because he didn't know me. No one knew me in this town.

    Dan M.

This was a while ago. I was on a poker trip (I no longer do those) and decided to check out the town. I ended up at this joint and the burger was very Irish. I didn't expect the couple to be sitting next to me to get in a huge agreement as I was eating, for him to leave her there, and for me to later see her crying on a city bench outside on the way to my car. I thought about offering help but chose not to get involved in that nonsense. I have only been here once. If you stick to the burger and mind your own business, you will be happy.

Very cool atmosphere BUT kinda odd having a magician stop by our party of 8 table to ask if we wanted a magic show ...( there was a odd silence before finally someone spoke up to decline ) Food was excellent all of our food!! Server annoyed me by ignoring my request 3 times how to split the bill- He decided to break it 3 ways ( I was very vocal about how to split it but he ignored me- so my salad and husband's biscuit & gravy cost over $60.00 ) Other than that the server was very attentive and provided excellent service to our table of 8. We will return but if in a group setting I will demand ( even press a bill correction if required)

    Lunch portion fish and chips

Wow! I get fish and chips at a lot of restaurants. This was definitely a top tier meal! The fish was absolutely breaded perfectly, the sauces with it were amazing! May I suggest ordering the creamy vinegar sauce with it. Absolutely amazing on the fish and the fries! And don't forget to get an 18 cent bowl of bean soup!

It has a charming spot in between the east and west bound lanes of eau gallie on the mainland side of the causeway. It is in the eau gallie downtown area on the south side of the shoppes in the middle of the road. Parking can be difficult to find. There is street parking and a parking lot to the west of it (more toward US-1). It has outdoor and indoor seating. The indoor is 2 rooms with 1 big table in the center, bar seating and about 7 other tables of 4 seaters or less. The outdoor seating is on both sides of the restaurant. Their menu is both American and Irish with Burgers and cottage pies and many choices for drinks. The menu is found on your phone using the qr code on the table. There was a musician in the outdoor space closer to the entrance. We sat in the outdoor space to the rear. Unfortunately, it was a little chilly and the very nice waitress could not get the heater to work. The outdoor seating on that side was picnic benches with limited lighting at night. We, apparently, picked a night that they had a large party and limited wait staff. The waitress was very nice and kept apologizing for the lateness of the food. We ended up waiting 1 hour and 25 minutes for our meals to come out. The food was delicious and well worth going for that but choose a day when big parties are not there or try to time it so you order before they do. OVerall, the waitress was wonderful, they have great food but it was a REALLY long wait from order to delivery. Choose your visit timing wisely.
