We stopped here for lunch on our trip to Quebec. It was a great first stop for our trip! Such a cute place. They had a nice lunch special going on with soup, an entree and dessert offered for a fixed price which we ended up going with. Everything was very nice and enjoyable. Loved by locals. The staffs tacky outfits might send you running away, don't!!! Excellent pizza. The greek salad is as authentic as the costumes. They have other dishes for the local palette but I'll stick to the sure bets. Pizza salad souvlaki. Its on a country road btw. Be careful with the slow moving farm equipment. :-p read more

We had stopped here on our way to Quebec from Montreal for lunch. Seeing 1,730 reviews at 4.5 stars were our main reasons in choosing this restaurant. Average pub fare. We ordered Gyro/souvlaki, calamari and chicken skewers. In general, they crowd your plate with salad to "appear" your got a large serving. We are from the NYC, so the souvlaki did not taste authentic and worst of all unseasoned. The calamari's batter was heavy and not light. Perhaps thats how the locals like it. The Kornikova sauce on my chicken was reminiscent of Mcdonald's secret sauce. And the pizza (that everyone ate with utensils) was not memorable. The dough was plain and stiff and the ingredients ordinary. Again, maybe thats how the locals like it. Our server was engaging and attentative. Service however was another matter. We arrived right after a few large parties (20+ people). But given the size of the place you get the impression, they would be staffed and equipped to handle large crowds. I was wrong, the wait was almost unacceptable. Lastly, we got the check. For the amount we paid . . . over $80, the food was not worth it. But given the choices in Trois-Rivières, we should of held out until we got to Quebec City. read more

Below average. I'm sorry to give a bad review, but this place didn't merit better. The salads were swimming in vinaigrette dressing, to the point that they were inedible. The pizza is fine. Lots of cheese and meat on them. But I wouldn't go back. If you're from the US, please understand that most restaurants in this area seem to cook pizzas in electric ovens on a metal pan. Not the brick lined ovens we use in the US. So the taste and crust are very different. read more

People from the region swear by this place, but if you're used to contemporary pizza it's OK at best. Lots of lightly browned cheese, think and oily crust - reminiscent of Pizza Hut. They serve other "Greek" dishes (brochettes with tzaziki, fish, spanikopita, etc.), but all anyone orders is the pizza. Big portions and plenty of choices - I had three mediums between four big guys and we didn't finish them. Very friendly service, and while big, it fills up at lunch. The frozen pizzas you can get to take away are suprisingly great. read more

The sign outside says "happy customers since 1959" and I would guess that the menu hasn't changed a bit since then. It has a retro feel, like going to a fancy Greek restaurant with your parents in 1965. None of this modern thin crust pizza thing. These are real thick crusts. They even serve you butter so that you can spread some on the one inch diameter edge of the crust. The seasonings are classic and the cheese is lots of mozzarella. They come in three sizes: mini, small and medium. Large isn't even on the menu. My wife and I split a house salad (old style iceberg lettuce with a great salty Greek dressing) and then decided to split a medium pizza. We ended up taking half of it home. The pizzas are good, but I prefer the newer thinner crusts and lighter toppings. The waitresses (no men) are dressed in traditional Greek costumes. Some of them seem to pull it off and others look silly. But the service is friendly and prompt. No need for us to ask for a doggie bag to take home the uneaten half of our pizza. When it was obvious that we could eat no more, our waitress appeared with a box and packaged it up for us. Worth a visit for some nostalgia if you're in the neighbourhood. read more

Every time we are in Trois-Rivieres we make sure to stop in for the BEST pizza around! Yes, it's that good Last night didn't disappoint.

Walking into this restaurant is confusing to begin with. There is a take out line, reservation line and a restaurant line. we order the calamari which was cooked well but the batter is a bit different than your usual calamari batter nothing special to be honest. My souvlaki Pita plate was nothing 2 rave about either the tzatziki sauce was very runny, they barely put anything in the pita with regards to garnish I asked for Greek potatoes which were dry and Bland. the salad was very Bland as well and the presentation of the plate as a whole look like it was very half-assed. when you walk into this place you see a lot of potential everything seems clean and you have at least somewhat of an expectation seeming that this town seems to endorse this restaurant because there is a plaque when you walk-in showing the endorsement of the town. What I find is that the cooks are lacking love for the food no emotion is put into these plates almost like an assembly line especially when people are paying these prices . We tried the pizza as well and it was nothing to Rave about either the sauce wasn't anything special however they are generous with their pepperoni garnishes. we tried the club sandwich which was okay. This place doesn't live up to its hype this is an honest review. Above all, our food took very very long to get. read more

The food was very good and plentiful. The restaurant was very busy and most of the clients were local. We drove by it at noon and came back for dinner. The service was very good and efficient. Prices were very reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant. read more
