What a beautiful little place!! We stopped here on our way back from Quebec city to Montreal. We ordered Gazpacho, which was really good! Then we ordered a veggie sandwich, loved the bread. The sure shot winner was their day's special bowl. It was a delightful plate full of dates, prunes, corn, cheese, pumpkin seeds & salad! Despite not being too hungry, i devoured it. We ended the meal with a coffee, which was one of the best i had during the trip. The server was the best! He single handedly prepared and served everything. Kudos to him.

We stopped by Le Sacristain on our drive from Montreal to Quebec City, and our server immediately recognized it haha. She switched to English immediately to welcome us and inquired about our travels. Then she gave us this adorable book of maps to guide us on the most scenic route to Quebec City. SO incredibly kind and thoughtful, even before we even ordered! The decor is pretty awesome. The restaurant is set up inside what used to be a small church so there's gorgeous stained glass windows, an old religious robe displayed on the wall, and pew seating. It still feels like a restaurant though - don't worry, atheist/agnostic friends. You can't go wrong with their food; we ordered the smoked salmon on a baguette, grilled salmon on onion bread, and grilled salmon salad (oops, seems we all ordered salmon haha). But the absolute highlight of our lunch experience (in addition to the conversations with the kind staff) was the whiskey cake with chantilly cream. The cake was saturated with just the right amount of whiskey (neither too much nor too little), but perfectly balanced with a softly whipped (chantilly) cream. We also loved the house wine our lovely server recommended so much (surprisingly complex flavors for its inexpensive price) that she gave us directions to the nearest S.A.Q. (basically Canadian Bottle King) to purchase it for ourselves -- we bought 6 bottles haha. Overall, highly recommend and would absolutely return on my next trip! Notes: - Indoor and outdoor seating (probably only in the summer) - One unisex bathroom

Stopped here with my parents when passing through trois rivieres. Cosy family owned breakfast and lunch place. Food was great. We each took a menu with soup, salad and coffee for $15. Soup was gaspacho which I love . They have inside and outside seating. Staff is very friendly. Would absolutely recommend this place if you are passing through on your way to Quebec.

    Great lunch!

This place looks very nice but the food is bland. I have no idea why it has such high reviews.

The food was so fresh. Desserts were very good. The only problem was that there were no English menu and servers were not fluent in English.

This time we were looking for a place to stop and eat and spend time so on the way from MTL to QC we stopped in Trois-Rivieres both times. We ate at this place on the way back. We were hungry and made a late lunch our main meal of the day. My son started with a Caesar salad that was good except for some reason there were a ton of croutons. This had to be a funny mistake because the salad had to have been at least half croutons. Luckily they were good croutons so he offloaded some to my wife who had ordered a soup (see below) and to me since I lacked a starter. My son then ordered the pasta carbonara which looked good in photos and on the tables of other guests. My wife and I tried it as well and agreed with our son (who loves pasta) that for carbonara, it was too heavy on the thickness/creaminess and with too strong of a bacon flavor. It was good, however, in an indulgent, almost macaroni and cheese sort of way. I had a filet mignon sandwich served in the style of a burger with fries accompany it. I thought it odd that our server, who was nice as well as attentive (bilingual English-French), did not ask me how I wanted it cooked. I thought about this well after my order was placed. When the sandwich arrived the filet mignon was perfectly cooked medium, light pink inside with what seemed like the searing of a flat grill on both sides. It was ridiculously tender, around 1/2 inch thin, and it was served hot. The aioli, lettuce and bun were all perfect. The fries were ridiculously good. Canadians don't mess around with their French fries. These weren't frozen; they were good white potatoes that had almost a sweet flavor. As a starter my wife had the soup of the day, which was a cream of mushroom soup that tasted exactly like mushrooms (in a good way). She loves that sort of thing and after tasting it I figured that if I were as hungry as she claimed to be, I would have ordered it ahead of my sandwich since beef and mushrooms are such a great complement. For an entree my wife had a grilled chicken plate with some kind of sauce atop potato wedges and vegetables. She said it was good, not dry, and perfect for what she wanted, which was something lighter than a beef dish or a carb-heavy dish. She did eat a lot of my fries and remarked how good they were. In addition to that we only had soft drinks but all in all the food was good and exactly what we needed on a road trip.

We were seated inside, and Mr. Bee started exploring the beer board and decided on a flight. The young woman working was so friendly and helpful to him making recommendations based on his tastes. I chose a nice chilled glass of wine, and we settled in enjoying the coziness, yet industrial feel of the interior. We decided to order a cheese board that featured local Quebec cheeses. They were great! We spent a good hour and a half, watching locals come in and out enjoying food, and drinks. Just know this is Quebec and everyone speaks French, so do your best and at least understand how to say please, thank you and enough to get through the basics, it is appreciated by the locals if you try. There is street parking if you are driving. If you find yourself in port and off a cruise ship, it is within walking distance of the port.

I was very excited to try this bubble tea shop out, but I knew not to expect too much. They actually have quite a bit of selection, and it is sold at $5 for a 18oz cup, and $6 for a 24oz cup (with an extra $1 for tapioca/popping bubbles). There are also many different kinds of milk for substitution if you need! I ordered the Iced Matcha Latte with tapioca pearls. The barista quickly made it in front of us, and he was very effiicent. I found it really cool how he had used a mason jars as a shaker to shake the matcha and milk together (he shook it by hand too!). He scooped the tapioca pearls from a little plastic container (in which I had a feeling that the tapioca would probably not have been too fresh!), and had assembled it all into my little cup I found that there was no matcha taste in my bubble tea, and it was also not sweetened, so I should have asked for it to be sweeted (which I believe, I would have been charged another fee). I was surprisingly amazed that the tapioca didn't taste too bad! You could definitely tell that the pearls are not fresh, but it was still sweet and chewy. I think that if i got another flavour, I might have enjoyed it a little bit more :) And, I think that if I visited Urbanithé earlier in the day, I possibly could have enjoyed some fresh pearls! However, I found the price point a little expensive- I had paid $6+ for a milky and tasteless bubble tea. My friend had gotten a preset drink, and hers was sweetened, and it was actually quite enjoyable. I think that if I had picked a preset drink choice, I might have had a better experience. Nonetheless, I am still very happy to see that this asian drink can still be found in a very francophone area! They also have sandwiches and a wide variety of tea selection (which are laid out very similar to David's Tea).
