Located at Church and Yonge inside the Upper East Food Club complex…read more Came in after a community event and was nippish. K-Jimi is up front and centre with their offerings we'll displayed. I saw the Pinapple Bun (BLB) with butter and was instantly sold! The servers were very courteous efficient. I asked if they had any coffee available and was informed that will be coming in next week. There is a common sitting area for the offerings inside. Was quite cozy and does have a washroom in the back. Will definitely be back next week to try out all their other offerings and the coffee spread

If you have a sweet tooth and love fruit, this is a must-try. I enjoyed it so much--it's a delightful mix of sweetness, fruitiness, and juiciness. Thanks to a Korean friend who introduced me, I was initially worried about the sugar coating being too sweet, but it turned out to be perfectly balanced. The addition of fruit and juice made it even better, especially the tangerine flavor, which stole the show for me. Juicy and fantastic! Also, kudos for the thoughtful packaging with a paper layer and a pocket below, preventing any mess. After trying Tanghulu, I found this place to be trustworthy, so I explored their tiramisu and the visually stunning mango & peach mousse cake. Both were delicious, elegantly presented, and the portion sizes were just right Tanghulu!!!

Visited this cute little Filipino bake shop nestled in shops at don mills…read more They sell Filipino sweet treats and baked goods. Pandesal, cake slices, coffee, cookies, cheesecakes, and a small select option of savoury food as well. For baked goods I walked out with: - Ube cheesecake: it was moist, Ube packed flavour with a hint of creaminess from the cheese. Enjoyed it. And read good reviews about it prior to ordering it so that's why I chose it :) - Ube crinkle cookies: a basic Ube crinkle cookie, not too sweet (which is great) and powdered with sugar on the outside. Ube flavour is mild not too overpowering, moist and fluffy cookie. Would recommend as well! - Spicy chicken empanada- buttery crust, soft and falls apart because the crust is so buttery!! Stuffing was generous, chicken flavourful but I didn't find the inside spicy. One is enough for one sitting. I would like to try other flavours as well. Service - friendly. Fast. Efficient. $$- I would say some of the items are quite pricey for what you get e.g. turon for $5, cake + coffee slice for $10-12, I think that I've found other bakeries to be a little more cost friendly. But assuming because this one is more franchised, Perhaps why prices are higher (?) Would overall recommend this place especially if you'd like to share Filipino sweets culture/food. They do sell cakes and party platters of desserts which is also a bonus. Would recommend to try!

My favourite though, has to be the classic, butter croissant. I picked up a strawberry short cake for a family dinner, and oh my gosh, it was so yummy. The cake was made out of layers of chiffon cake (super light and airy) and a delicious whipped cream with strawberries pieces nestled between the layers. I've only done take out there, but they do have a small area with seating, including space outdoors for warmer months. The service is good, staff are friendly and efficient. Even if there's a line, you're not really waiting that long. The location is easy to get to from Finch Station, but if you're traveling by car, parking may be a bit tough to find, though there is street parking and a paid lot a couple blocks further north by the TTC lot.

The space is not big but there some limited seating. The display cases are at the far end of the store and if there is a lineup it will be hard to see what is available unless you get closer to the cash area and if this is your first time here and don't know what is available it might take a bit to decide. The coveted Dubai Chewy cookie sits next to the cash area. You can get a box of 4 or singles. We got a box of 4, with tax....just over 27 bucks. Was it worth it? I would say YES! The coating was soft and chewy with a generous amount of filling with the kataifi giving a nice crunch. This is definitely a treat.

Their designs are abundant on the website and they really get the design to a tee, it was PERFECT. Flavour selection is pretty good and I did have a short call with them while ordering on their site to determine which flavour was recommended as well as what colours I wanted the cake design to emphasize. I had to check Google reviews to confirm instructions on their location, but when I got to the Langham Square plaza it was easy enough to find based on their address (unit number 2006). Staff gave clear instructions at pick up to keep the cake in the floor of the car during transport and to store the cake in a fridge until ready to eat. The box for transport was great because I got to check the design easily before leaving and the ribbon was tightly wrapped to secure the box cover to the base. The staff speak Mandarin as well as English. Payment was all done online beforehand. Highly recommend ordering their cakes for any event!

The online ordering process is smooth and convenient, and the final product genuinely impresses. I'm taking one point off only because it was impossible to reach someone by phone. Communication is email only, which works, but it does feel a bit arms length and takes away from the personal touch you'd expect from a boutique bakery. A quick call option would elevate the whole experience. That said, the pastries and cakes are excellent, and I'd happily order again. Enjoy-Zuk.

The Duo cake is great, not too sweet, and I also learned from this site that it's gluten-free too. They actually have good gluten-free options, given one of my family members is celiac and we do get cakes from here for her. I think at this point I've tried all the cakes on their menu. The pistachio macaron was also good, as expected. The bread is no longer discounted like before, after 7pm it used to be half price I think. It's been like this for a while now, but it's buy one get one half off, which is a bummer since I can't eat that much bread to make it worth it. As much as I do like their cakes and such, I wish they would add more savoury items and have some café lunch options too.
