If you need an event space and you enjoy an eclectic taste this is definitely the spot for you. My son and his wife had their wedding celebration here and the age group was from young to older and EVERYONE got a kick out of this decor. The staff that served us was amazing, there is a decent receiving line area, which we used as both receiving guests and a food buffet. Enter further into the space and a good sized bar greets you, with plenty of table seating as well. A dance floor, and romantic nooks and crannies as well. Really the space had it all. Oh, except for signage and parking. Two negative things for your out of town guests or those not familiar with the area. But, otherwise a perfect spot for a fun, fun evening!

This venue has moved to 57 Forsyth street in Atlanta. We had our wedding here and we are so glad that it went well! The space is beautiful. The only reason it is getting a lower rating is because of our experience with the on site wedding coordinator. We would go for a month or more after emailing without a response and would be afraid of being scammed. So overall, if you don't mind poor communication and love a unique venue, then this place is perfect. We truly had a wonderful wedding day but the months leading up were filled with unneeded anxiety and fear due to the poor communication.

My husband and I had been planning a Leap Day elopement for months because we didn't want to deal with the stress of a traditional wedding. Since we went this route, we decided to throw a marriage celebration earlier this month for our family and friends. Because this wasn't the typical wedding reception, we had to find a unique venue and we found it with Paris on Ponce/Le Maison Rouge. We wanted to stay away from the boring, usual venues: country clubs, historic homes, hotel ballrooms, etc. We fell in love with this place instantly and knew we were ready to celebrate our milestone. We had a little over a month to plan our entire party and we couldn't have done it without assistance from Dennis at POP/LMR. Dennis will help you tailor your event to your specific needs. He was very helpful and provided a list of preferred vendors including catering, entertainment and photographers. We were looking for something that would be easy to plan and something that would amaze our guests. And it worked because we had no problems and our guests loved everything. Pros Fun venue Unique decorations - no need to bring in more decorations, we left the tables bare and let the venue shine on its own. Green's is right across the street. They were our booze vendor and told us they're open late if we run out of anything. Luckily, we never had to run across the street for extra beer or wine. Con - only 1 Dennis advised us to have fewer tables out for guests to encourage mingling and dancing. We did this, but we realized we could have taken away more tables for an even bigger dance floor.

I've been to a wedding and an office party here, and both were definitely memorable due to the venue. It's a truly unique space that I would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for something a little offbeat and different than the normal stuffy venue. It's a quirky, Bohemian and trinket filled space that you really have to see to get a feel for. The bar was my favorite feature...probably because I spent the better part of both events refilling my drink there, but that's not the point. The bar has that well worn, antique look that just absolutely fits with the rest of the room. There's lots of room for a large number of guests to gather around it and admire the cool antiques and signs on the wall behind it while they drink. I highly recommend this place for parties. At the very least, the preponderance of red lights will make everyone at your event look better...

Had a wedding with 140 people here. For the price, we got sooo much out of it. We didn't do an ounce of decorating cause, hello, the place is already pretty decadent. It's all there for you: the kitchen and prep area, the lobby space for mingling and a main area that fits more people than you'd expect. It's an ATL gay wedding destination!

OK I have not actually attended an event here so take my review for what it is worth. I was shopping at Paris on Ponce and you can go tour around Le Maison Rouge even if there is no event. The space is super cool. Perfect for group looking for an alternative/funky atmosphere.

The fabulous sculpture at the entrance.

Having our 30th anniversary party at Le Maison Rouge at Paris on Ponce was the best idea that I have had in many years!

We had an 8 pm reservation but ended up getting there early. We were seated 30 minutes early with no problem. The rain was coming, so we were offered indoor seating, which worked out perfectly for our group of 6. Service was on point and timely this evening, and truly a genuine friendliness. I just wish I could remember her name. There are some delicious choices on the menu--meat, seafood, & vegetarian. The drinks were all well done and tasty--from the Old Fashions to the lemons drop to the shot of vodka. Our food came in good time, and every dish was prepared just right. Can't wait to check out the domed dining in the winter weather.

The igloo decor was cute and "wintery" with cozy blankets, a basket of treats and goodies, and a heater. The package included free ice-skating and unlimited games in the rooftop. Our waiter was awesome and very attentive to our needs. However, the experience wasn't comfortable enough for the high price we paid. Even though we had one heater, the igloo was still a bit cold. Also, the heater's cord was short, so we couldn't move much and had to stay right next to it. Maybe adding a second heater and a hot chocolate station in the igloo, along with some music, would make the space feel much cozier and nicer.

Downstairs there are frames posters that tell some GA history. I was surprised how much I didn't know about GA. This space is bigger than it looks on the outside. There isn't much parking in this area because it's situated right in the middle of a residential neighborhood. The street parking fills up quickly. This is perfect for a reception or even a small wedding or baby shower. I would recommend this space to people. There are bathrooms on both levels and a kitchen area.

A gem of a wedding venue in the middle of Atlanta. We picked this venue for our wedding because of…read morethe prime location in Atlanta for both ceremony and reception, its historic charm, and the great value compared to other "bare" venues we toured. Julie was a delight and gave us several tips to make logistics run more smoothly and tips to save us money! We really enjoyed working with her. For our 200 guests, we used the upstairs area as a lounge and photo booth for our guests and the outside space was converted post-ceremony to another hangout spot. The rest of the main floor was used for dinner and dancing. One thing I wish they could improve upon is the rental hours. We were hoping to go until at least midnight, but they count the hours of the party at load in, not ceremony start. Even with paying overtime, we could only continue until 10:30 PM. Overall, it was a great experience. It does take more effort to design a wedding in a bare space, but Julie worked hard to make sure we could use as many of the resources (tables, chairs, etc) she had in house to save us on budget.
