The young girl that was our waitress was super nice and chatted to us for a while about our travels. There is often a painfully average DJ spinning your typical rap songs. Don't tell the DJ that his performance is sub par though because he will literally beat the living shit out of you. Grinding, glass dropping and stumbling is all over the dance floor. The hilarity of the scene between townies and college kids mingling together almost makes the $3 cover (in Farmington?) worth it. If it weren't for the fact that the lights come on at 12:30pm while the DJ screams out "Front Street, finish your drinks!" I'd say the cover is worth it. Who am I kidding, I love the place.

The food was fantastic and the staff was very friendly and made us feel like old friends. I would highly recommend checking this place out next time you head up to the slopes at Sunday River. I went there with a group of 4 of us and every dish was excellent and reasonably priced. I ordered a Caesar Salad and the Brick Chicken. The salad was very well prepared and had a very light Caesar dressing that picked up the flavor from the lemon garnish and bite-sized garlic toast croutons. The Brick Chicken was a perfectly prepared and succulent piece of chicken with crispy skin that was served on a bed of rice with lime and orange garnishes. The other dish I tasted was the Vegetable en croute, which was an eastern European style vegetable dish with a phyllo dough crust. This dish was good, but not great. I would go with the brick chicken if you are deciding between the two options. However, you won't be going wrong with either choice. My other friends ordered the Pork Osso Bucco and the Steak frites and had great things to say about both of these dishes as well. If you are looking for a more upbeat ambiance you can find that downstairs in the suds pub. This place looked really fun and has live music. It also worth noting that you can order the pub food in the bistro as well if you are looking for that type of fare in a mellower ambiance.
