We couldn't find too many restaurants around where we were and originally found a deli a short distance away. When we walked in, we felt a tad out of place and it looked a bit shady on the quality of food, so we left. We then found a Paul Bunyan statue and visitor center so figured we'd ask at the visitor center where to go. The nice man told us Brick and Stone. Glad we went! The young girl that was our waitress was super nice and chatted to us for a while about our travels. I had a Caesar salad and slice of pizza and my husband got their chopped cheese ( which is apparently a chopped up burger and not actually just chopped cheese). He really liked his burger, and my salad was ginormous. I'd highly recommend this place if you are traveling through.

I had the house burger, which was perfectly cooked (medium rare), and they had a nice selection of draft beers. One of the bartenders even educated us about the local whiskeys and bourbons. He then made me a delightful cocktail, made from a local whiskey, topped off with fresh-made meringue topping with a twist of lemon. There was also live music that night, made more fun by a group of students who were singing along. Overall, quite an enjoyable night!

The food was fantastic and the staff was very friendly and made us feel like old friends. I would highly recommend checking this place out next time you head up to the slopes at Sunday River. I went there with a group of 4 of us and every dish was excellent and reasonably priced. I ordered a Caesar Salad and the Brick Chicken. The salad was very well prepared and had a very light Caesar dressing that picked up the flavor from the lemon garnish and bite-sized garlic toast croutons. The Brick Chicken was a perfectly prepared and succulent piece of chicken with crispy skin that was served on a bed of rice with lime and orange garnishes. The other dish I tasted was the Vegetable en croute, which was an eastern European style vegetable dish with a phyllo dough crust. This dish was good, but not great. I would go with the brick chicken if you are deciding between the two options. However, you won't be going wrong with either choice. My other friends ordered the Pork Osso Bucco and the Steak frites and had great things to say about both of these dishes as well. If you are looking for a more upbeat ambiance you can find that downstairs in the suds pub. This place looked really fun and has live music. It also worth noting that you can order the pub food in the bistro as well if you are looking for that type of fare in a mellower ambiance. We also ate at the Black Diamond Steakhouse while we were in town. Everyone agreed that Bistro 151 is a superior restaurant all around from a both a service and food perspective.

The staff were so pleasant and attentive, ESPECIALLY our server. Honestly the service was the best I've experienced while dining out in quite some time. On top of the wonderful experience, the food was just as great. The stars of our meal (though everything was delicious), were the Duck & Sweet Corn Wontons, the Thai Chili Cauliflower, and the Crème Brûlée donut. OMG the donut. If you get nothing else, GET THE DONUT!!! All in all, definitely worth the visit!!

I got the crab Parmesan truffle carbonara (need I say more) and my husband got the lamb shank over risotto. Both were 12/10. Then for dessert (even though we were so full from the meal) we got the flourless chocolate cake and the CRÈME BRÛLÉE FILLED DONUT. Yes you read that right. Skip the chocolate cake and just get a dozen of the donuts. Krispy cream could NEVERRRR. I'm literally waddling out of here with the biggest smile on my face. Anyone in previous reviews that was complaining about price doesn't understand value. It was worth every freaking penny.
