The indoor outdoor tables, the breezy atmosphere, the relaxing, shaded views, it's no wonder every time I walk by this buzzing café I see a slew of beautiful people acting as if they don't have a care in the world. (Or day jobs. Seriously, when do people in Bondi work?) Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner, these beautifuls always seem to congregate here and today I found out why: Where as many of the Bondi venues put style over substance, the food here - specifically the salads - are outstanding. Other reviews have kinda picked the snot right out of this nose -- there's something altogether rad about Le Paris but it's kinda hard to articulate just what it is, exactly. Personally, I think it's the people-watching: despite our worthiest protestations we humans are all nasty little grubby-eyed voyeurs at heart, and there's nothing better than nursing a skinny latte (anorexia's back y'all!) and watching the human pageant that is Bondi schlep down the Hall Street hill towards the beach and the sandy redemption that awaits them there. Mostly built to service the fashionistas that adore the Bondi coast, this cafe should not be confused with something that is French or started in Paris. This is the kardashians of cafe's, which means It may look good on the outside, but there's really nothing of value once you are invited in. Don't expect quick service, or any special food, although I've had some good pancakes, but they were drowned with maple syrup. I can't ever remember the same baristas or waitresses here, they're usually travellers, which means it's not worth your while befriending them, they probably won't be there next week. If you feel the need to show off your new date, outfit, sunglasses, or hangover, then it's a great place to get some looks - although mostly they're judgemental and condescending, take a refreshing look and a dirty stare back - it's the Bondi way. read more

Le Paris Go Café is basically a fun place to hang out on a nice day. I really like the setting, rather than going for chic or modern style, you can sit outside on an old wooden bench facing inwards to the café, It just creates a nice comfortable atmosphere. The service was a little slow, however it was one of the first really hot weekends of the season and they were very busy, so I can forgive that. They have all day breakfast, one of the options of which is a breakfast burrito, which I found a little strange, Mexico meets France? Le Paris-Go is good, it's fine, they do decent enough coffee, it has sexy punters... so why do I rarely go there? Mainly because it's always so damn packed. I'm not big on queuing or waiting for anything unnecessarily to be honest- it's probably a character flaw but when there are five places just as good within two minutes walk I just don't get it. I'm pretty sure it's the open plan room with huge wide windows facing the street and outdoor wooden bench tables that are the enticement for the locals to go to such lengths to hang here. (Please note, this is more for the benefit of "being seen" than "seeing".) The food is passable, the coffee above average but not amazing, and given it's always packed-ness there's always a wait to receive your order... but I guess that's the lengths people will go to to be seen on Bondi's Hip Strip. read more

Am so pleased that I discovered this little cafe myself whilst on a three day break in Sydney, staying in Bondi. Coming from Melbourne, we (ahem) know our coffee and whilst they are a few cafes on Hall St something made me choose this one that fateful morning. Maybe it was the name that held a promising thought. And fateful it was. Considering I hate crowded places. Somewhat buzzing with locals, out enjoying some winter sunshine, I was met at the entrance by a cutey with a huge smile and ushered to a table next to the big open window with an incredible view of the local parade of Hall St. Sweet I thought, clearly I've picked the one local everyone loves. I had eggs, smoked salmon and avocado on sourdough toast and a mocha, and it didn't disappoint. Coffee is the best so far in Sydney that I've had so two thumbs up for it. As I was on a one man holiday, I didn't feel the least like I was stared at or made to feel that as a single diner I was hogging a whole table to myself when it's a tiny cafe and there is often a queue to get in at peak times. The staff are super cool and friendly and this place does attract the beautiful and photogenic crowd of Bondi hipsters. I mean, everyone looked so effortlessly good there. The next time I returned on a glorious spring day to take in the Sculpture by the Sea, I received the same welcoming treatment even though the place was more packed to the rafters and there was a huge queue at brunch time. Again, must have been my good looks haha. I noticed tables around us this time were left waiting for their food for a while but ours of a pot of mussels, steak sandwiches and coffees didn't take long. My mate was impressed with this place, especially as he lives round the corner in Coogee and never been to it. We didn't linger even though it was so tempting to just watch people but onward to tackle the coastal walk it was. In summary, a busy buzzing local cafe with soul, that welcomes you amongst the Bondi beautiful. Oh and don't expect French fare being served here. read more

The core staff are a great bunch and the transients soon fit in or don't last. The owner John is a happy, welcoming host that is only too keen to sit and chat for a while. Can we not give this place 5 stars?? I know, i know. It's a scene, it's a parade of the pretty, it's a feed for the fearless. But you know what? I'm in. My idea of this place is based on a couple afternoon visits which might be a little less gnarly than the brunchtime craze. I like the airy and openness of it. I also like that it's popular and doesn't really have to try that hard to impress. Their food is good, not great. Service is hit and miss. Why do I like it so much? I don't really even know, i just DO. I like sitting at the wooden counter / bench with a fresh squeezed beetroot, apple, ginger juice and a mixed berry muffin and watching people walk down Hall toward the beach. I like the music and the buzz of the bro-y conversation from the tables out front and the hum of the coffee grinder and the hit of surf break underneath it all. Bondi local-was quite disappointed to know they don't have WIFI anymore- THAT, in my opinion, was the only good thing going for this overrated cafe, aside from the well designed open-air seating. If you come for the location and the chairs- you def will not be disappointed! read more

Lets face it - Le Paris Go is a bit of a Bondi scene darling. A Saturday morning here is nothing short of a display of the coolest cats Bondi has to offer. I sound like a cynic but I'm not, really. I actually love Le Paris Go, but not to sit and be seen. The super casual vibe here makes this place anti-tourist so the food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. My pick of the menu is the Chicken & Haloumi Salad, which is fresh and tasty. Things can get a bit crazy at breakfast and lunchtime as people pile in to the smallish space and service can get a bit sloppy, but this is the kind of place that you roll with the punches. So if you're just popping into Le Paris on the go, you may be welcomed with an un-enthused greeting. There are plenty of places in the area that are frequented by tourists; this is not one of them. Paris is a place where locals gather and order their usual. Stylish and funky people come here for a quality cup of coffee and a tasty salad. The all day breakfast is a winner on the weekends, try their breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, guacamole and sour cream, little taste of Mexico for breakfast. I've been here a few times now and really love it here. The coffee is amazing, as well as the food. The menu is delicious with so much to choose from. Nachos to salads to salmon nicoise... You really can't go wrong. My only qualm is that it's quite chilly inside on a blustery day... Funny how they don't close the front door or Windows to make the guests just a little more comfortable. Tried eating here on Monday night but they turned us away 40 mins before closing time. Returned the following morning and ordered their big breakfast because it's plentiful and a drink is included for a decent price. Everything was so delicious but the hash brown wasn't homemade, it was those frozen ones from the box. Poached eggs cooked a little longer than normal so it wasn't as runny but that's okay. Today We had a very bad experience in Le Paris and go. We were with a friend (7 month pregnant) asking for a coffee. My friend drop by accident a cup of water when a guy who works there Asked us to move because he was passing through next to us. He started treating my friend very rudely because she drop a glass of water by accident after we pass next to us and . We had to leave the place because we felt so uncomfortable for this man.. how can you work in a coffee shop and treat a pregnant woman like that? read more

Average food and terrible service. After waiting 1 hour for our dinner on what was not a busy night, we questioned the waitress twice in which we were told our meals were 'on their way'. As someone looking to get into the restaurant bis, Le Paris-Go Cafe was an excellent example of a restaurant that I don't want to work in, let alone or run myself. I noticed on on several occasions the head chef of was texting on his phone, clearly more interested in it than the customers he should have been serving. The remainder of the kitchen staff looked uninterested and had little urgency in getting dishes out. I also observed the kitchen and wait staff drinking beer constantly throughout the night. While I do not object to this, surely one's co-ordination and perceptions are distorted when alcohol is consumed. I certainly will not be returning and letting many friends know about my experience. read more
