At $129.99 (plus taxes and gratuities) for a 5-course meal, it's probably not something you'll visit regularly. Still, it is an interesting technology to experience and something you can bring children to as well - note, they suggest children be 6 or older and offer a 'Junior Chef' menu ($64.99) for those 10 and under. Without giving too much away, you enter the space and tables are already set with plates precisely placed for the projection. In case you fidget with the plate, when the animation begins, the video shows you where to move your plate back to. Before each course, a ~3-minute video is shown where Le Petit Chef creates a dish in a slapstick manner and when the projection stops your dish is presented in real life. Despite having to serve over 30 people in short succession, the dishes were prepared well. The bouillabaisse arrives hot and the tomato saffron broth great to the last spoonful, even though it looked a little watery. Studded with a piece of fish, calamari, shrimps, and a mussel, the squid stood in for the octopus featured in the video, so while not necessarily accurate was close enough. It would be nice if Jokers creates something closer to the dish just seen in the video. The little chef throws lettuce leaves onto his caprese salad di bufala, but our plate is leafless, the bulb of fresh buffalo mozzarella simply adorned with wedges of tomato and a basil leaf. Not exactly screaming of a fulsome salad. This is a lengthy review, for the rest head to GastroWorld.

Cool experience.. I never heard of this until my boyfriends family booked it for one of his nieces 21st bday. It was definitely a memorable experience, from start to finish. The servers were really kind and nice and super quick with dish serving and accommodations. This whole experience is about a little tiny chef from France making our food in the kitchen and having it served directly to us on our table. It's definitely unique and never seen before. I had a good time and the dishes were decent, I wouldn't say per say, that the food was amazing or great. I would leave it at that it's ok/ decent at most. For $130 dollars per person, I can't justify that it's worth it as the food wasn't good. However, you are there more for the experience than the food, you'll have a good time.

Immersive culinary journey on my birthday! Met the cutest lil chef @le.petitchef and watched him cooked our dinner right at the table! The 4-course dinner set is decent. The show was more impressive at the beginning and kind of got unoriginal as it progressed. For example, they had a full on show of Le petit chef picking up potatoes and beets from the farmland background dining table and tossing onto our plate. When the dessert was served, they didn't even bother putting on a show anymore. The dining table was a blank canvas and I thought it was a missed opportunity there. Overall it was a great experience. Food was decent but nothing spectacular or memorable.

Fun experience! Visual pleasing and the food isn't too shabby either. Service is nice and friendly. Make sure you make reservation ahead of time as I believe it is by reservation only. Chicken was juicy, steak was made to perfection of medium rare, creme brûlée was delicious

The experience is great but the food is absolutely terrible. Tastes like food at an all inclusive resort, don't waste your money

I felt like these microphones even made my voice sound nicer. The interior was nice and there was a room with a Hello Kitty wall. Good selection of songs, they even have the HK band Error latest song 愛情值日生. Lots of new canton songs to choose from. The system was easy to use! I will definitely come back with my friends.

There's one worker at the front who helped us change to the back room instead of the room at the front. We would be singing way too loud for everyone to hear at the front. There's a minimum spend depending on how many people you have. We had 3 so it was $140 min spend. We got shots, soju bottles, juice and a fried food party tray. Fries were costco-like fries, delicious. The tequila shots weren't that strong, maybe watered down or it's my tolerance, who knows. All pros, but cons have to sadly be listed. The room couch had holes, unsure if clean to be honest. The touchscreen was grimy so luckily they had hand sanitizer; cleaned that up. The staff member didn't tell us how to use the screen but we just figured it out. The song selection is definitely a lot less than other KTVs I've been in. Also the disco lights weren't working at all, we asked staff and he just flat out said no then walked out. We'd come back here if everywhere else is sold out but likely won't. Good experience though!

If I'm going to be in downtown Toronto and I'm going to have a big group, I always pick Bar+ if they're available on the day I'm looking for (and if it's not a Monday -- they're closed on Mondays which I found out by just trying to roll up to the spot!) Bar+ makes group karaoke easy because they have various sizes of rooms, a wide selection of songs (with some recent songs too!) If you're really worried about song choices, there's an app you can download to your phone in which you can browse their entire catalogue whether you're there or not. Bonus, the app also acts as a way to have more than 1 device to add songs into the queue once you're in a room! PRO TIP: if the song listed has the "MTV" tag, it usually. means it's literally just the music video with no lyrics. The other reason Bar+ makes group karaoke easy is that you can go out to the bar to order your own alcohol, or order bottles (of soju) to bring into the room to share, and you pay each time you go out to the bar. One thing to call out -- DON'T throw your bottles into the trash cans in the rooms! The bottles get collected by the staff for recycling! I think there's a service button on the same tablet you input your songs, but I'm pretty sure you can also go out to the bar and ask them to collect empty bottles.

More recently, one of MY closest friends held his wedding reception just down the road (at Casa Deluz Banquet Hall) and instead of a dance floor at the end of the night, he booked one of the party rooms here for the afterparty. From the outside, this plaza looks like your typical, sketchy scarborough plaza but the first time I walked into this place I was blown away at how nice the interior was. The lighting is extremely cool and the decor is very fancy. Service is prompt and friendly. If you need a battery change for your mic(s) or ring the service bell, you get a person almost instantly in your room. The washroom is clean enough haha. I've been to some KTV places with REALLY dank washrooms. This one is clean and smells relatively fresh. Also, someone in another review mentioned that there was a lingering cigarette smell. I've been here a bunch of times and there's almost no cigarette smell. Visitors are pretty polite here. Most ppl that want to smoke, I see them go outside and having a smoke outside before coming back into the lounge. I will say, they do use a popular touch screen system for choosing songs. I would totally bump this review up to a 5 star rating if they kept the song list updated (Bar+ on Yonge St downtown has the most constantly updated song list I've ever experienced). There were a couple new songs that I tried to find but to no avail. I think this is the best karaoke place uptown in the GTA at the moment if I'm being honest! They are very honest w/ their minimum room charge pricing and they also have a killer happy hour special deal throughout the week if you're not booking a room on a weekend. It will continue to be my go-to place for karaoke as long as they don't increase prices.
