Ris de veau is 3 piece of fried calf. If you want to share your app I would go with the Chevre chaud. I thought the portion for Ris de veau was a little small. Right about now I noticed that everyone around us was getting some warm bread with butter. I looked at the menu to try and see if that was something we needed to order as an app. I did not see it on the menu so I assume it's just given as your app while you wait for your dinner. I got the beef tartar as my main dish. You have the option of picking between a garden salad or fries to go with it. I went with the fries. They are served with some mayo, just like I like it. The beef chart was delicious. Portion are good. This might also be an option if you want to share an app. It comes in two sizes, I got the bigger one. For dessert, I picked a crème brûlée with a cheese platter . Crème brûlée comes with a lovely crust , which I honestly enjoyed quite a lot. It is a very thin layer of crème brûlée with a thicker than usual sugar crust. The cheese platter came with three very small piece some bread and a jam. I would believe to be blueberries. I was disappointed by the cheese platter not because the cheese were bad ones but just because it was a three bite done deal. I would've liked a bigger portion to share. The waiter brought out some warm bread with butter made with beets. It didn't taste like beets to me but it was very good. We finished the bread and butter and asked for a refill. I got the beef tartare as a main. It was supposed to be bison tartare but they ran out. It's too bad because I really enjoy bison tartare. The beef tartare was good but not amazing. It had a creamy anchovy sauce but thankfully it didn't taste like anchovies which I liked because i don't like anchovies. The tartare was served with julienne fries and crispy fried onions. The fries were good but the mayo it came with tasted so weird and I didn't like it at all. I actually ate my fries with ketchup and I never do that. My boyfriend got the poultry ballotine. It's basically chicken stuffed with truffle, pancetta, onions, mushrooms with a cauliflower sauce and mustard seeds on top. This dish was very good! If you go definitely get this dish! The boudin with small prawns was fantastic -- the boudin itself held up in flavor yet was delicate in texture. Excellent burrata that came dressed with really fresh accompaniments and mad points for the rustic bread that came nicely toasted. The octopus was generous enough for four of us to have a good taste and move on -- it came with a lovely red sauce that I wanted to mop up with bread. The tuna tartare was brilliant, the french fries that came with it seemed a tad unconventional. And a big win for the lobster risotto, absolute perfection. I wish I could remember the names of the cocktails we ordered but suffice to say, they were all delicious, never harsh in any way. So one thing I wanted to point out was how this one server -- not our main server who was, again, THE BEST -- kept clearing out plates in the middle of eating.
