The owner was so sweet and helpful! She was so patient with me as I was deciding what to try! The space is small but they had everything neatly on display. I have to say, I'm a little surprised at some of these reviews because every item I purchased was delicious! I tried their strawberry cupcake and the cake was moist and flavorful! The frosting was a little too sweet but the tartness of the jelly filling balanced everything out. I tried their lavender and cookies and cream macarons and they were so good! I liked that the lavender had a tart filling in the center. I got a cosmic brownie for my brother to try and he said it was amazing! I also got a danish which was pretty good and I just had to get a lemon bar and one of the blueberry pie bars because they are the best! This is my new go to place for baked goods! Reasonably priced compared to other newer bakeries popping up!

Before ordering, we bought sample cupcakes. We ordered a heart shaped, double layered chocolate cake with buttercream icing and sprayed on gold color. It was a beautiful cake. The gentleman stayed it would be white buttercream icing with the gold sprayed on top of it. We picked the cake up, it was ready on the counter, and they offered to carry the cake to the car. When we cut into the cake, the frosting was golden and the sprayed gold tasted weird. We just scraped off the gold thin layer and were able to enjoy the moist cake with buttercream icing. The price was very reasonable! We will definitely buy another cake from here.

Everybody I spoke to over the phone and in person while picking up my cakes was VERY polite, attentive and nice. The cakes themselves (the execution) exceeded my expectations, both of my babies received exactly what they were asking for and they were blown away!:) As far as the flavor, my daughter is eating it right now saying, "OH MY GOD, it's too yami":) my husband who is not a cake eater admitted that both cakes were way better than he expected. For my taste the flavor and texture were just ok, but I have to admit that I grew up eating decadent gourmet cakes and it's really hard to impress me with cake flavor these days. Overall it was an amazing experience! And we highly recommend this place if you are in a mood for some beautiful sweet stuff:) THANKS to everyone from Monique's Cake Company!
