With a river view and a diverse menu, Le Pick Up Grille makes for a nice open air lunch spot. My salmon tartar was delicious- fresh and on a bed of arugula with balsamic vinegar. Ma femme liked her falafel. The kids had pizza and fish and they were both about average - which was just fine for my picky eaters. The service was excellent and fast. Came here for a quick lunch and this place is the best for quick food. Ordered it and they will serve in 10min. I love the grill cheese! Melting Brie cheese with pear slices, quite interesting but surprisingly good. The chips are home fried? I love it. It doesn't look like toasted bread, they look more like putting butter on it, then pan fried it. It just taste sooooo good, must go and must try. Rate it 4/5 because the eating area inside is not too nice. Better done outdoor but also not a nice place to enjoy, more like a table for quick eat. read more

My boyfriend and I walked all around Tadoussac to check out every restaurant before settling on this one. The view of the water was beautiful from the little terrace in the front of the restaurant. The service was quick and friendly and the terrace filled up completely after we arrived, they were even placing people on the small lawn beside the terrace and brought out tables from inside. We were searching for a restaurant with more seafood options but instead chose a salmon burger and an angus burger as well as a lobster guedille that we shared. The guedille was awesome and the burgers were good, I wish there was a different side option other than the chips but over all a good little restaurant. read more

Service super slow and missed items from order. Also too expensive. The " chips " were soggy and tired, burgers were too saucy and no tomatoes or pickles available! Smoothies were pricey and very mediocre. Pie also very bland. Won't go again. read more

Like pretty much everyone else, you are in Tadoussac for a short while, usually waiting or coming back from your "whale cruise" and in need of some food. It was the end of fall, so not many places were actually open for lunch and with such little choices, we "choose" the Pick up. The place is small inside but the welcome is warm. The menu interesting though lacking some basics (soup would be nice on cold days for example!). We took two different grilled cheese sandwiches. They were good though a little too oily for me. The chips (as in chips not frites) are a good idea but again, they were way too greasy and therefore quickly became disgusting to eat. I rated it only two stars for another reason: I know this is a tourist place (the prices are really too high for just grilled cheese sandwiches!), and therefore not every tourists knows the do's and don't of Canadian tipping BUT, dear waitress, there is no need to grumpily note that your tip is not included on the bill when it is already written on said bill AND I already included it myself. AND it's even more annoying, when you bitterly complain that you do not want said tip in coins... I should have taken my money where it was wanted I guess! read more

In Tadoussac to do some whale watching we stopped in here for a quick lunch. As it was a rainy day the enticement of a grilled cheese sandwich drew us in and we weren't disappointed. I had a smoked-meat and cheddar toastie whilst my companion had a bacon-cheesie filled toastie. I had also a citrus beer and a tea for my friend. Servce was very quick, friendly, and attentive. The cheesies came with fresh home-made chips, not the English kind, but hot thin fried slices of potato that went great with the sandwiches. A great place for a quick lunch. Perhaps a bit on the pricey side, lunch with 1 beer and a tea was ~$40 for 2, but it is a tourist area so that's more or less expected. read more
