Brandy is just amazing! I loved having highlights for the summer but I decided to go darker because I'm leaving for bootcamp in less than two weeks and have to do one color. Brandy set me up with the gorgeous darker color as well as a Keratin Treatment (which I love!). I had the treatment done about three years ago and it was just amazing; my hair dried so much faster and it stayed completely straight for about six months! It was a lifesaver because I never had to use any heat to fix up my hair and it made my hair feel so smooth and moisturized! I definitely recommend Keratin Treatment, it will save your hair! This review is long over due. I was in desperate need to get the brassiness out of my old ombré and looked on Yelp for some guidance. I set up an appointment with Brandy and showed up right when her last client was finished up. She asked me what I wanted to do with my hair , gave me some advice , and we BOTH came up with a hair plan. I AM ADDICTED TO BRANDY'S SPRAY TANS! I am very fare skinned. I have been getting spray tans since I was 16. Airbrushed, mystics, lotions you name it, I've done it all. Although I have gone to MANY people that airbrush nothing is as good as Brandy. The solution she uses is NOT orange looks very natural and fades off nicely. (When I went other places when the tan started to fade it looked as if I had some sort of skin discoloration going on.) Brandy can get you however dark you want and is very reasonably priced. I am never disappointed with anything ever with my spray tans and I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone! read more

So glad I searched yelp for a place to tan in Brentwood. Brandy had so many good reviews, I decided to give her a try and they were right! I've gone to her ever since. I didn't realize she was also an AMAZING colorist and stylist too. I LOVED my hair color, cut AND style, My husband said WOW, when I came home. I really appreciated that she listened to what I wanted. Many hair dressers don't. This was the 2nd time I went to her and am sooo glad I don't need to continue going out of town to get my hair done or tan! My hair looks just as good the next day. I have never had such an awesome experience as I had at this Salon. The atmosphere is amazing....... I have never felt so comfortable at a hair salon before. Brandy asked me what I wanted to do with my hair, and since I wasn't completely sure, she helped me come up with a plan. Usually the day after my visit to a salon, I hate my hair, because I can never style it the same as the hairdresser. Brandy is so talented, so she not only gave me a wonderful haircut, but showed me how to style it in a way that I can do it with limited time. I wanted colored streaks, and she went above and beyond in making them blend in with my hair, and not look stupid. I was afraid to go too bold with the red, and she knew just the right amount of color to put in. Her prices are very reasonable as well!!! Karey has done my hair since I moved to Brentwood 2 years ago. She has some innovative ideas and I trust her without doubt. She did my whole wedding party and the results were fabulous. Her shop is not huge and I like that a lot of people don't walk back and forth here. It is just cozy how I like it. You should try it out. This was our 2nd visit to Brandy, and our first visit to her husband Doug. Bringing 3 kids to them could've been a nightmare and crazy visit! Well... It wasn't! They were gracious, patient and most importantly efficient. Doug cut my boys hair and Brandy focused on my daughters curly, thick coarse hair. Her hair is not always as cooperative as others... Again I was very impressed with their skill and their demeanor with the kids! My daughter talked to them about going to Paris and they showed her pictures, and shared stories! They were great! Will be back and I'd recommend them to anyone! Plus, Doug traveled to Holland to lean about how to cut hair and beards... So hubby will be coming back next time! Cheers to great haircuts! read more

I've been going to Brandy for a couple of years now for my airbrush tans. Let's just say I now commute to get my airbrush tans done by her because she is that GOOD! I've literally tried the lotions, the mystic tans in the booths, even other airbrush tanning locations and nothing compares to her. I am not just typing this to type this, I try to refer all of my friends to her because she is so good and does a great job. Not only does Brandy make you feel super comfortable while getting your tan, she actually knows what she is doing and really goes into detail on where she is applying the tanning solution. Brandy's equipment that she uses is clearly top of the line, I am very picky when it comes to getting my tans because I know how easily it is to look orange, streaky, and even uneven in areas but that is not the case here. She really takes her time into making sure she covers every aspect of your body and goes over your body numerous times making sure everything is even. Likewise, as Kendal M. said below I have literally become addicted to Brandy's spray tans! Lastly, I also have to comment on Brandy's salon its always so nice and clean inside. I swear every time I go in there she has it rearranged with new product and new décor. She is definitely up to do date with all current hair and tanning trends. Wonderful salon. Brandy is professional, sweet and great at what she does! She is also accommodating to work schedules. I had the Brazilian Blowout done. I have long, fine hair but sooo much of it. I did this in November and didn't want to write the review until I could see the whole process. My hair was incredibly smoother and softer, and my hair didn't feel as thick and bushy. Drying and flat ironing my hair was less than half the time. I actually started doing my hair again. At about 3 months I could feel my hair getting thicker feeling again. She said that it would last 2 1/2 - 4 months depending on each person. Brandy also stated that each subsequent treatment will be better and last longer. So here I am today with my second treatment done. Again Brandy is fabulous. And my hair....straighter and smoother than the first time. This has been a dream and time saver for me. I have been going to Brandy for my haircuts for about 6 years. I cannot express enough words of how wonderful of a stylist she is. I too am a stylist and worked in San Francisco for many years. Since leaving San Francisco some years ago I was so worried about finding someone I could trust with my own hair. She takes time and really listens to a clients needs. She is very current with all new things in the hair world. I let her recently talk me into getting hair extensions and I am so happy I did. My hair has never been so glamorous!! This review is long over do...I got my first spray tan ever from Brandy last September. It was for one of my best friends wedding and I decided last minute to get one. I was definitely apprehensive because I had never gotten one before and I had heard every bad story about spray tans. Brady's tan was amazing!! No streaking and such a great rich color. The product and machine she uses is the top of the line, made by the people who developed the spay tan. Can't get much better than that. Brandy is the BEST! She does an excellent job at matching color and her products are by far the best around! I first came to learn of Brandy because a friend referred her to me because I was looking for someone who used a hair color product that did NOT contain PPD (which is a very harsh ingredient that can cause mild to life threatening allergic reactions in certain people). My daughter had an allergic reaction to a Redkin product - her face had a red rash all over it. PPD is found in all the over-the-counter hair dyes in the US, as well as in all the products in the other salons I've called. So I thought she was never going to be able to color her hair again. After further investigating PPD and hair dye, I knew that the only way she was going to color her hair was to use a PPD free dye--which is very hard to find in the US. So, when Brandy said he uses a product that does not contain PPD, I was sooo excited. The product she uses on our hair is "Tinta Color" by the Keune product line. IT IS PPD FREE and it's from Australia and New Zealand! (PPD is banned in some countries--but not the US). Keune is a wonderful product and I'm soooo happy Brandy uses it. I use the permanent color and my daughter uses the semi-permanent. It also comes in a wide variety of colors, just like other hair dye, and covers gray really good! My daughter and I have gone to Brandy now a few times and we just love her. We are definately going to make the drive out from San Ramon every time we need our color done! We feel like we've known Brandy for years. I love when that happens!!! Her salon is so beautiful too! So French! :) I'm so happy to have found her!! read more
