Very disappointed in my color, left my hair orange. They Wanted to fix it 2 weeks later??? Refused a 50/50 refund. I had to pay to have it corrected. After all is said and done I paid $400 for the Color and then the correction ,which I did elsewhere. The first 3 pics are from the Revive stylest. I got my hair done by Nicole and let me tell you I have 0 regrets. This lady is not only extremely talented but also very pleasant to be around. I went from being a brunette with grey hairs mixed in to leaving with a fresh blonde look with some pink highlights. She constantly checked my hair for breakage during the bleach process which shows she truly cared about the condition of my hair. The salon is very charming and clean and the other gals are very sweet and friendly. Nicole's knowledge of hair and proper formulas makes you feel very comfortable sitting in her chair. Update: Rspd to Owner. I appreciated the owner/manager reaching out to me. But it is sad to be at this point to get a respond from the owner/manager; a good business should never be like this! So, here is what happened: I called several times in a week to reach this salon owner/manager to get a recommendation for a talented stylist who know how to cut men hair. Somehow, the two receptionists were shielding the owner/manager from my request (dont know why); however, they were able to recommend Jo and then later Nicole for my consultation. My consultation was confirmed with Jo but somehow I was later told that may not be possible thus arranged with another stylist name Nichole AND a full confirmed cut appointment later with a consultation -everything has be set! 45 minutes after walking out of the salon's consultation they changed the whole appointment schedule to BLOCK ME OUT!!! I cannot force someone to cut my hair even if they are talented BUT to be Dishonest and Unprofessional she needs to find another type of job!! read more

I scheduled an appointment for today (Friday) at 11am a week ago as a new client for a haircut. I came in today for my appointment and was told I couldn't get my hair cut because my hair is "too long." Apparently the stylist only cuts short hair. That should probably be the first question you ask a new client coming in if you're trying to schedule them with someone who only does short hair. Total waste of time, which as a mom of 3, is hard to come by. read more

Do not consider Nicole as your stylist. My experience was disappointing. Nicole will cut your hair as she wants regardless ...shown photo of short style and left with wet hair with completely different. Following day contacted her with a photo of how unattractive hair styled. She was unwilling to reshape or cut. I find her attitude very unprofessional. I have been going to Revive for a while now and have been going to Katie. She gives a great head massage while shampooing/conditioning, as well as always making sure I'm comfortable. Katie gives great hair cuts and does amazing with color. I have been going back and forth between light and dark and each time I fall in love with my hair. Sarah Cunha is the "diamond in the rough" for this salon and spa!!!! If I could give a star rating just to Sarah it would be without any hesitation easily five stars. However, because the star rating goes towards Revive and their overall business, I can only give them a three. I've been to this salon more than a handful of times in the past month to two. It's in a part of town that I rarely frequent. Once you are on the hunt for it, it's a bit hidden behind a tile business. Overall, I am not a fan of the location. However, once inside it's actually warm and inviting. They have many services available from hair, esthetics to massage. Let me be clear, I have only received services from Sarah. I have not opted for anything else to date. Sarah's room is large, comfortable and very relaxing. What isn't relaxing is the girl in the room next door. She talks very loudly and bangs! The girl isn't always there so it's only half the nuisance it could be. Sarah's personality is great! It compliments her skills and services. She's has a clear understanding of skin, products and what is the best course of treatment or service for you to achieve your desired outcome. I love the fact she wants to make sure that your service and visit is to your satisfaction. I travel every week. So, my schedule isn't a 9-5 one. Last Monday, Sarah was able to schedule a 7:15 p.m. micro-current facial. I didn't get out of there until almost 8:30 p.m. but Sarah never made you feel rushed or that time was an issue. I left out of their glowing and relaxed!!! End goal.........ACHIEVED! I know this salon is new but their prices are wildly exaggerated for somethings, ie. micro-current. Their Monday special pricing on micro-current is more in line with "average" "acceptable" pricing for this non-permanent service. if you go on Monday, it's great and you'll have a outcome that is very aligned with the service and price. Any other day, not so much!!!!! You can go to Livermore, Walnut Creek or even my home town in So. Cal and get the same treatment for a lot less. Again, Sarah Cunha for excellent service and treatments!!! She's also my vote for Best of Brentwood!!!! read more

I got my hair cut and greys covered by Brittany Item yesterday. This was my first time at this salon and she is new to the area but not new to hair! I have someone that cuts my hair that lives in Santa Barbara county and I've had a really hard time finding someone who can cut long layers as good as her closer to my home (I like in Oakley). After a long and difficult search, I think I've found the one! I was very open about how picky I am with my layers and was really nervous when she started cutting. But in the end, I LOVE my haircut and she was also a great person to have a conversation with. I am looking forward to seeing Brittany again in the near future. Brittany understood what I wanted and had no problem making any adjustments that I requested. I'm so happy that the long search is over. I hope she finds many new clients and stays for a long time! read more

I recently moved to the area and started seeing Janelle at this salon for my hair. She is awesome! The first time I came in with some pretty intense roots and I wanted to go blonder, she did some magic and I was happy with it, however with a new baby being a blonde is a lot of work. I went back to see her again and she was able to take me closer to my natural color while giving me some dimension with some of the previous blonde. I really appreciate that she is open and honest about my ideas and doesn't try to upsell me on any of the salon products. Definitely glad I found Janelle and I'm so glad the salon is so close to my house! the salon is really cute and clean. BONUS: Their prices are super reasonable. I used to go to a salon in Pleasanton and easily could spend twice the amount per appointment. read more

I cannot give "Revive Salon" a good review. I am very disappointed in this Salon. The hair stylist I had did not show up for my appointment on one occasion & tried to change my appointment on a second occasion. On the first occasion, I was forced to go somewhere else where I received a horrible haircut. On the second occasion, the stylist said she would send me some good dates to re- schedule an appointment & she never did! I am thoroughly dissatisfied with this salon & will never recommend it to anyone!! Customer service here is not adequate as well! Overall, rating 0 stars!! read more

It took me a while to find Hailey through a friend of a friend but I have been seeing her for a little over a year and she is the best thing that has happened to me since I moved to Cali. I drive and hour and a half because she is brilliant with color and extensions too. And she never turns my hair gold. I love her!
