Came here with friends on the way up from Maine! I really appreciated how there was no one else in the restaurant at 3 pm on Sunday so we didn't have to wait a long time! Food: we got the Le Snack and the Le Fontaine poutine medium sized and the amount of food was perfect for 4 not too hungry girls! We really liked how the fries were seasoned since it wasn't too heavy even though there was lots of cheese. Service: The waiters here were nice and spoke English and French! Had a bad and expensive experience on Jan 26, 2023 evening. The location has plenty of poutine recipes. Compared to Max Poutine, located in Victoriaville, many of the recipes don't appear to make sense. We ordered 3 poutines, two of them had barely any cheese, the biggest piece was less than a centimeter. In order words, they don't serve you cheese from the bag, but instead more like they take one normal piece from the bag cut it in 50 tiny pieces and that's the poutine. The substitutions are very expensive and not without transparency on the pricing. $3 for red oignon. $5 for extra cheese. We paid both for one poutine and didn't get any. So, we ended up with a $20+ medium poutine without significant cheese on it. We ordered with clear instructions to get the mayonnaise on the side but got it on top. The guy taking orders was visibly aggressive and inconsistent with many different customers. Only two staff members working, very busy, bad team communications between them. This location doesn't have much parking. You are asked to wait outside, when you have a pickup order, even during cold winter. read more

Terrible experience. Wouldn't serve us because we didn't speak enough French. Waited for 20 minutes while other tables got drinks and orders taken. Food looked good but don't go in there speaking English. To update... We stopped in Sherbrooke on our way home to Massachusetts from Trois-Rivières and were looking up places to have lunch on Yelp and found this place with high ratings. It was mid afternoon and we were seated right away. We knew they were known for their poutine, but I was shocked with all the options! Must be around 50 with more specials on the blackboards around the perimeter. They also had paninis and club sandwiches. They had two Boreal beers on tap (so I went with the blonde). My French is ok, so communicating was fine. They didn't have any menus in English, so I translated for my husband. The waitress tried her best with English and I give her kudos for her effort. I had the poutine with bacon, mushroom and chicken. Delicious! My husband had the panini with ham, guacamole and tomato, which he said was very good. I look forward to going back for a poutine pilgrimage this year. Just a heads up, Yelp didn't have them as open because management has attached their restaurant to their account, but they are open 11-9pm, Sunday to Wednesday and 11-4am Thursday to Saturday, according to their website. read more

MMM, a great selection of poutine and it is done right. You have a wide selection of poutines with all sorts of ingredients, including a good half a dozen or more specials. They also do good Merguez hot dogs and I have it on good authority that the Club Sandwich is good too. I had a "Boss" poutine, which includes a fangorious amount of meat and some onions. It was a lot bigger than I was expecting (I am not very big) so you get good value for money. The fries are good, the cheese is great and the sauce was also quite tasty. The best little poutine spot! My buddy and I stumbled upon this little resto for a quick bite to eat and we will definitely be going back. My buddy had chicken, mushroom and three pepper sauce poutine and I had hot dog slices on top of an original poutine. The fries were thin, crispy and delicious. the cheese were real cheese curds, the ones that squeak. The best sauce had to be my buddies three pepper sauce. It was amazing! Everyone talks about the poutine but lets talk about the service. You can't enjoy a good meal if the person that serves you considers you like an animal! Me and my friends went there after class for lunch, but what was supposed to be nice became the worst day of my life. The waiter was so disrespectful toward me and my friends and started harassing us. When we told the manager about it, he did nothing at all. We left the place even before we finish our poutine.
